Suki stood at the border of the fire nation. Like many genin she was traveling to kumogakure. Why was she doing that? The chuunin exams. She had confirmed she was going a couple times and was thrilled. It was time to rest herself, and see if she had what it took to be a chuunin. It was also somewhat unusual because Suki happened to be a cat. No doubt few other entrants would be animals. If any. However, that might not be a bad thing. Sure she was going to be far smaller than most entrants. However hopefully with her speed, her size would help her. But, a smaller body had some disadvantages as well. For example, as humans towered over her, she. Would likely be a target, read off as an obvious target if it came to a fight.

Suki had trained herself to be as strong a genin as she could be. That said, she was still lacking a bit in terms of mission experience. But for the moment, that wasn't a big deal. She needed to focus on the chuunin exams for now. Finally she was going to travel, and that was part of the excitement.

This was a special time, normally genin were not allowed to travel too freely, but the chuunin exams were special. She was to represent her village as a genin. Suki's was excited. She would get to see some of the world for the first time as a ninja. Of course, she would see the most of Kumogakure.  Suki was excited, it sounded like one of the most interesting of villages. There would be many amazing views and places. In a way She was like an excited tourist. She wanted to see everything, and satisfy her curiosity to her content. Of course, she wouldn't be able to. She would have to train hard while she could, and she would get there soon enough. The only training she could hope for was to push herself. And train on the way. Kumogakure was waiting.

Kumo, the village hidden in the clouds.... And represented the element of lightning. Being a fuuton and Doton user, she could have problems if most Kumo ninja did indeed have the ration element. But fortunately, as she had futon as well, her weakness to raiton was equaled out by a strength against it. Suki smiled softly, walking along the border.

How long would it take? She wanted to get there? She was excited, she had a chance to show how she had grown.... But so did everyone else. How much had she grown? Was she capable of overcoming others if she had to? She wasn't entirely sure. But she would find out.

What were the tests going to be? They changed, and she wanted to know what to expect. But that was pointless. The chuunin exams wouldn't be the chuunin exams of they were predictable. They were supposed to test the genin, push them to their limits to find out which could deal with and surpass the circumstances. So she would have no idea what to expect. This made Suki anxious, the way it probably made every genin anxious. Suki sighed softy.

She wondered what her arrival would be Like. How would others react to a cat wearing a sort of blackish backpack, along with the Konoha forehead protector attached to the backpack, the engraved plate gleaming from the backpack. It would announce that she was, despite being a cat, a genin.

How would others react? Would she reflect badly upon her village. She could almost hear people saying things like "is Konoha so low on ninja they are resorting to sending animals?" she got persecution on occasion, it was inevitable. But this was a chance to or over herself equal to any human. Suki sighed and shook her head. It was time. And with a slight smile she headed off again towards Kumogakure and the chuunin exams.
