As the sun was still above the horizon, dictating that it was still daylight hours, once one looked towards a timepiece, they could easily denote that it was clearly past dinner time, for those who at their dinner directly at six in the evening. The clear sky still provided sunlight throughout the village, though it would take less than an hour for the sun to actually set. The streetlights began to flicker on throughout the streets of the village, in no particular order other than randomly flickering on and off. The streets still had a few people wandering about, most going home to call it a day or prepare for the night life of Sunagakure no Sato. There were still individuals milling about, those that had an early halt to their daily occupations and thus ventured out early to get the night started.
In an apartment, within a low socioeconomic area, one individual lay in his bed, still lazing about due to the sleep that fatigued him earlier in the day, only having woken up just a few minutes ago. It was an odd sleeping pattern, as he usually was like any other individual, awake during the normal hours and asleep during the night, yet the past week he had been at odds with himself, not particularly going out to neither practice his archery nor keep his energy stable from an hour or two of exercising. Instead, the past week had been spent doing odd jobs and milling about the village during daylight. Eventually, it all led to him just being exhausted for no apparent reason, which led him to take a particularly long nap today.
While still far too lazy to actually sit up, yet still wanting to do something tonight, Seiryū rolled off his left shoulder, which he had slept on for the past few hours, and on to his back. Lazily, his eyes opened but closed quickly. He had forgotten to close the blinds earlier when he went to take his nap, yet he hadn’t thought he’d be resting for too long that his eyes might forget the shine of sunlight. It was both a benefit and a drawback of the bedroom he occupied. During the mornings, no sunlight would bother him as the window of his room faced towards the west; however going to bed early always posed a problem as the sun would be directly towards his window during the time it would begin to set. He supposed, it could make for a nice view, though given the area he lived in, he knew there were far better places to live, but there was also worse.
Pushing himself into a sitting position, Seiryū rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. Sitting still for a few seconds, he debated on going back to sleep, knowing that the sun would be down soon, though his sleep schedule for the next few days would be entirely messed up if he did so. Perhaps it was best to go out, maybe visit a club, have a few drinks, party a bit, and hope that would drain his energy for the night’s sleep. That, however, would be the worst case scenario, so long as a fight didn’t break out. Without debating it further, he got out of bed and began getting dressed for the night.
Stepping out of his apartment complex, Seiryū immediately blended in with the surrounding crowd. It still wasn’t too crowded, though in an hour or so, more people would begin to crowd the streets. With his plain black shoes pressing down against the sandstone that lined the majority of Suna’s streets, Seiryū reached in to his black trousers, making sure he had brought his wallet with him. His light grey long sleeved shirt kept the majority of the light breeze from touching his skin. He wasn’t overly dressed for a night out, as his initial plan was mainly to just go to a bar for the time being and let the night carry him onward.
The wind kept swiping his hair back, though it had already been like that when he had left his apartment. Keeping his pace relatively slow, Seiryū began making his way to the downtown area of the village, where the nightlife resonated.
