1 WHOA DUDE! [Mission/C-Rank] Thu Jul 23, 2015 7:38 pm
Joruri
D-rank
A past Instructor that he had had at the Academy contacted him. For what he wondered while he had opened up the scroll, but he had soon found out that it was at the Konoha Shinobi Academy. The Academy, huh? He thought to himself. He probably heard of my work at the Training Compound. He thought. The only Compound he could be thinking about was the Army Training Compound, a place that he was planning to return to soon. The lessons that he did there were in fact quite entertaining. One thing that he learned was that if those in the class laughed, then they were paying attention and that, was the only thing an Instructor wanted right?
Maybe I should ask later. He thought to himself as he exited his home and headed towards the famed Academy.
Whilst he walked through the village he thought back to the times of when he had first joined the Academy. It was weird, he had joined the Academy around the time that the average shinobi left at to graduate and to become a genin. The techniques he had to learn were fairly easy since his brain was more developed than a five year old, but it was sort of... endearing to be excelling at techniques that those who had been at the Academy for years had trouble perfecting.
What did they even call them, E-Ranks or something? He snorted as he entered through the front door of the building. The halls were familiar, how could he ever forget them? And as he walked through the halls, he maneuvered himself towards the back of the establishment where he entered into the Academy's training yard. Is this extra credit stuff, a good idea? He didn't really know, but he knew that his past instructor probably wouldn't respect him as much as he had before he had given the letter to Joruri.
Wait? How did he even know where I'd be? He thought suddenly stopping before he exited into the yard. But then he started to chuckle to himself as he remembered. It had been a few days ago when he had been returning the ninja tools that he had borrowed from the Academy for his Samurai lesson back in the Military Base. He recalled what he had said to get the Administration to let him take the props. But that wasn't important right now.
As he entered the yard, he saw the group of students gathered together in a makeshift ring in front of the dummies, but he ignored them as he looked around for his former Instructor. Is he not going to introduce me? He thought to himself as he decided to head towards the ruckus that was the group of academy students.
From simply sheer height, he took note of how there was a duo on the ground rolling around in the dirt, and he shoved through the kids without any regard for who fell down, and for a moment the kids separated in their fight, still on the ground of course and as they began rising to their knees they lunged at each other.
His leg was in the way and when they realized that, they both tried pulling away, but they were too slow, and Joruri's leg was already gone as their heads made contact with one another.
Morons. He thought as they moaned and groaned in pain. So they're the bad ones, huh? Every class had a group of them, but he had never seen so many at once. I must've gotten a mixture of ages and classes... Damnit. And then he straightened himself out after he had pulled the two aspiring genin to their feet.
"Line up, four lines." There was sixteen of them. Practically a class in itself, and he muttered quite a few words to express his displeasure at this task.
The majority of them scurried into position, and he couldn't help but smile. He guessed that based off of his height and the forehead protector on his... well, forehead, they were guessing he was a new teacher. They were right kind of, but he was glad that he wasn't going to be a permanent one. This was only something to help his teacher that had soon evolved from a position of teaching, to one of a peer and friend. Although they weren't the same rank, his teacher and he had spent a bit more time together outside of the Academy and had learned quite a bit of each other.
Probably thought it was refreshing to not have to deal with kids like these. He thought as he glanced up to the Academy, and for a fleeting moment he thought he saw his Instructor giggling. "Damn..." He muttered quietly.
"Your lesson is taijutsu. I'm sure some of you realized that." He said, glaring at the two kids that had been going at it before he had intervened in their little 'scuffle.'
"It's clear that you troublemakers know the basis of what it is, but not how to actually perform the techniques." He said as he raised a hand to rub his jawline. I'm in the same boat, believe it or not. He chuckled before he raised both hands and sent them to either side of his body. "Separate into two sides, two lines. Choose your opponent and stand in front of them."
There was minimal movement, and he wondered if those who had moved were interested in fighting someone because they had... 'Problems.'
"We don't need to listen to you!" A high pitched voice said as Joruri's head lazily rotated to find who said it. Who would've thought, it was one of the two he had stopped from fighting. He didn't answer, and when he gave the command, they went at it again, this time eight pairs beating on each other.
It shouldn't have been apart of the lesson, but he had already determined that they were disrespectful children, so he wanted them to be out of their... Negative energy when he finally started to teach them.
After a few minutes, he raised his hand and said, "that's enough." And they separated, with a bit of a helping hand from the older genin. "Now, I'll actually teach you." They were breathing heavily, he was glad to see that.
Once he had gotten them back into their lines, he told them to copy his stances.
Launching his fist outwards in a straight line, he watched as they copied his movements as fast as they could. They were really trying to hurt each other, huh. He realized when he heard the accumulation of heavy breathing.
His body twisted to a slanted stance as his outer leg kicked outwards in a side movement. Some did it properly, others fell over form their exhaustion. "None of you are leaving until you all get the movies right." Yeah, he was going to send these kids home as sweaty pieces of meat. It was what they deserved, some more than others.
A few hours later, the sky was darkening. He had held the children from going home by numerous hours, far longer than he should've, but the moment he had overstepped his time period of possession over them, there was a grin plastered on his face the entire time.
By the end of the training session, they began dragging themselves home, and he wondered if they were going to be more... Attentive in class after that.
