Tsuneko approached the village gate. She had had a rough, solo journey to get here, and that was reflected in her disheveled appearance. Her forehead protector was tied as a headband, apparently an attempt to bring some control over her long, tangled, white hair. Her complexion was pale with fatigue under the bangs that just covered her clan’s marks; lilac eyes seemed to almost glow against the pallidity, accented by the dark circles underlining them. Her bedraggled appearance drew the guard’s eye, even amongst the recent influx of outsiders for the Chuunin exams. When he questioned her, she replied in a slightly rough voice, although her tone was polite, "Kaguya, Tsuneko. Genin from Kirigakure.” She hesitated after he asked her purpose here. Clearing her throat, Tsuneko replied more clearly, “The Hokage. I’d like to meet with him, if that’s possible.” The guard explained that the Hokage was very busy with the Chuunin exams and, likely, wouldn’t be in his office, but he escorted the Genin there anyways.
They came to the damaged doors, and the guard knocked firmly on the wood before leading Tsuneko in. “Kaguya, Tsuneko, a Genin from Kirigakure, here to see you, sir.” He stepped to the side, waiting for orders from Kenta. Tsuneko stepped forward, taking in the soaked room without questioning its appearance. After seeing flames consume her entire village, a wet office didn't concern her. Lilac eyes flicked over to Hiragana, recognizing his fishlike appearance as a trait of the Kisame clan from Kiri, before looking back to the Kenta, assuming by his presence behind the desk that he was the Kage here. Hyper-aware of her rough appearance in the office of a kage, one from another village, no less, she opted for a respectful approach. Assuming that Kenta doesn't order her to leave, Tsuneko gave a small bow, her palms flat on her thighs. She straightened before explaining her presence here. “Hokage, sir, I’m here as a refugee from Kirigakure. A few days ago, Kiri was… Kiri was destroyed by Amaterasu.” She swallowed; voicing what had happened made it even more real. “No one else…” She glanced at Hiragana as she amended, “I didn’t see anyone else make it out.”
