Hira walked outside of his apartment, it was quite small but it would accomadate his stay in konoha. He didnt mind though, he never liked being cooped up inside anyways. As he left he made sure his two swords were tight on his belt and made sure his armor fit good then proceeded to walk down the streets of the village. He was usually pretty good at figuring out his surroundings but konoha is a little bigger than kiri is. As he walked down the street he got some weird looks from the people, some of them arent used to ninja from other villages, and hira walking around armed probably didnt help. He came to a clearing in the middle of the village, a small fenced in park with nice green grass and a few trees. he walked over and sat down in the shade of one tree, he reached into his bag that he had with him and began to read it the book title "Human anatomy and weakpoints" he thought it would help out in the exams.

Ezra took his first early morning walk in another village. It was amazing to say the least. Ezra would light up at the sight of something new and a whole village was a little much to take in. He’d need to calm down before his brain burst with excitement and the thought came to him ‘What better place to relax than a beautiful Konoha park?’ He walked down the street with a bite sized map not wanting to look like a tourist. “Here we go.” He said out loud as he had arrived at a small park about a block away from where he had the initial thought to go.

‘This looks like a good one.’ He thought as he climbed the first tree he saw. He hoisted himself onto one of the stronger looking tree branches, laid his head against the thick trunk and relaxed the rest of his body along the protruding branch. He turned his head to the side and looked out to the north. The village was just as pretty as he thought walking through it but now it felt more serene and less busy or excited.

Ezra closed his eyes for a couple minutes just to relax, he became so relaxed that he fell a sleep. He awoke rather violently, not because of what woke him up but of how he woke up. He was awoken by the sound of a book being opened and pages fluttering the noise startled him and he shuffled almost out of the tree. His shirt got caught on the branch. ‘Surprisingly strong shirt.’ Ezra observed at the sound of a small rip as the shirt kept him suspended in mid air. He looked at the book that had woke him and then to the person reading. The boy did not look like any of the Konoha-nin or citizens Ezra had seen around the village. ‘He must be here for exams.’ He told himself staring at the book as another rip was heard. “Hey, little help?” He called out with a smile wondering if the boy had heard the shuffle and the shirt rip.

Hira was turning the page in his book when a ripping sound caught his attenton. At first he just shrugged it off, then he heard another one. As he looked up he saw a by hanging from the branch. He chuckled a little bit at the boys situation then he heard the boys voice "hey, little help?" He closed his book and proped it up against the tree, then focused some chakra into his feet and walked vertically up the trunk of the tree until he came to the branch where the boy rested. He said to the boy "Im gonna cut the branch, so try and land on your feet ok?" He pulled out one of hiis swords and sliced the branch causing the boy to be realeased. He then just stood there on the tree using his chakra to stick out parallel to the ground.

“Thanks Man. This branch is pretty strong though, you sure you can-” Ezra lost his sentence as the boy unsheathed his weapon and sliced the tree sending Ezra to the ground. ‘Kenjutsu... huh?’ He thought as he used the falling piece of branch next to him as a springboard and landed on the side of the tree near the base. “Nice swords. They don’t make em’ like that back home.” Ezra said unsure of his own village's Kenjutsu abilities as he walked down the rest of the tree’s trunk. The only one he had ever seen with a sword in their hand was the Kazekage.

With a short smile he looked up at the boy about his age. “Thanks for the help. I’m Ezra Karisuma of the Hidden Sand.” Ezra pointed at his tan headband which he always wore tied over his shirt around the right bicep. “What’s your name?” He added scanning the boy for a headband.

Hira released his chakra from his feet and dropped to the ground when he landed he looked up at the boy, the boy was scanning him for something, probably his headband. He moved his hair out from infront of it to reveale his kiri headband around his forhead "Im hiragana kisame of the village hidden in he mist." He then returned to the boys later comment. "Yea these swords are one of my favorite objects i the world. I keep them sharp to." It was true he kept his swords greatly sharpened.

“Nice to meet you Hiragana of the Hidden Mist. Knowing you’re from Kiri, the whole sword thing makes so much sense now.” Ezra stuck his hand out for a handshake as he thought back to some old ninja village info books he read when he was in the academy. “I take it your competing in the Chuunin exams?” Ezra said with a huge grin and an enthusiastic tone to match. If he said yes Ezra’s excitement would flare up. He would love to see how he and his taijutsu matched up against someone who uses kenjutsu.

Hira reached out and shook the boys hand. He smiled and kinda laughed at the boys comment about the sword thing, however it was true or it seemed true that most ninja from kiriagakure are swordsmen. He pulled his hand away after a moment and rested it on one of his swords. He then said "Yea... im here for the exams, and you must be to if you came all the way from suna. Though i guess its not quite as far away as kiri is."

“It’s almost the same distance. Only difference is one route has a whole hell of a lot of water and the other sand.” Ezra said about the different trips remembering the shinobi world map he has posted on the wall of his bedroom at home. He found himself thinking a lot about home in a short amount of time. Sand definitely ran deep in Ezra’s veins. He wondered if the same could be said about Hiragana and his homeland. Ezra liked to believe so.

“Yeah I am here for the exams as well. I’m here as the only representative for Suna and I know I’ll sound like some other hopeful genin but this Chuunin exam is going to bring me closer to my goals. How about you? Why are you competing?” Ezra asked his interest peaked.

Hira wondered if it really was the same distance from their homlands to konoha. He had never been to konoha be fore or suna for that matter so he wouldnt know for sure. As he listened to Ezra speak he understood the way he felt. "Im here to represent my village and myself. I want to show everyone what im made of, because growing up without any family or friends gave me a certain cry for attention. I know it sounds pathetic, but thats what drives me." It wasnt the only thing that drove him, Hikou's life, teachings, and death also drove him and with all those things there was no way he could lose, no way at all...

Ezra was a little shaken by Hiragana’s words. Ezra couldn’t understand where he came from as he had always been befriended and it always came so naturally growing up. Ezra decided in his mind if he couldn’t understand where Hiragana came from he would make sure Hiragana understood where he came from. “Don’t let that be the only thing that drives you, I mean you have friends now, right? You don’t have to show em’ all.” Ezra said and held out his fist for a fist bump. A perfect example of how Ezra was a natural at attempting to make friends even though some could say his actions might have been a little too quick and overzealous. Ezra was big on making friends and always thought it would be cool to have at least one good friend from each ninja village. If Hiragana had fist bumped Ezra, he would tell himself in his mind. ‘Kiri… Check.’
