Kikisu rolled out of his bed, the sunlight from his window was coming in and shining on his face, he groaned softly as he shielded his eyes from the bright torrent, a loud yawn escaped his body as he sat up, rubbing his eyes, he estimated that it was about 9 in the morning, he had to get going soon, the chuunin exams were going to start in a few weeks time, and he defintly wanted to be there, his jounin instructor was going to escort him there, his sensei had signed him up for the exams, since Kikisu was as ready as he was ever going to be. 
Kikisu went over to the other side of his apartment, grabbing a towel as he jumped into the shower, washing his hair throughohly, and putting new earrings in as he got out. Kikisu did his hair in a loose pony tail since he was going to be traveling he didnt want it flying in his face, or getting hot and sweaty during the travel. He decided on a sand coloured vest with a fishnet shirt underneath, matched with doeskin tan colored finger less gloves, marked on the back with the symbol of the chikmatsu, a red scorpion on the other, he matched the outfit with a light grey set of combat pants, and tan sandals, he then pull the necklace that his mom gave him over his head, kissing the silver cross on it as he went to grab his supplies.
He put tabok, Harisma, and Kawaii on his back in a triangle style wrapping, and then grabbing the sealing scrolls that held his more cumbersome puppets, first he tied the scroll for Minos Talba, and then he placed Damasta right underneath it, deciding against bringing Harataiko since he had not the skill to use him yet, the workings in that puppet were of a differant caliber, he had made it with the help of his sensei, and his senesi made puppets on a whole other level. 
he then strapped his kunai on his hip, this one would be used on last resort, or is tabok needed reload, he then grabbed his black heaband, with the hourglass like carving on the front, his headband, the headband that set him apart from the other villages ninja, he grabbed it and tied it around his head, smiling at the notion that he was going to be able to fight in the chuunin exams, he was hoing to win them and had great expetations of himself, at the minimum he wasnt going to get out in the first round.
Kikisu then left his house, locking the door as he left, the sun was beating down on the sand village today and it was even hot by kikisus standards, he waved to the hobo across the road from his house and tossed him a ryo, smiling as he started to walk down the raod to where he and his sensei were going to be meeting, as he walked he waved goodbye to a few people that he knew, telling a few that he was going to the chuunin exams , and near the end of the road, he saw his uncle, the owner of the puppet shop that he worked at, he shook his hand, then gave him a hug as he told him that he was going to be able to work for a few weeks, his uncle laughed and slapped him on his back,

He smiled and started walking again, shaking his head at his uncles way of speaking, he was the only family that kikisu had left
Kikisu then saw ahead at the edge of the village, a shorter female, looking about 18 years old and with flawless skin, nodded to him, 
Let us go Kikisu, we have a long journey, we need to get there so we can win
Kikisu nodded just as his sensei made a single handsign, becoming slightly older using the transformation jutsu, because she looked barely like a jounin due to her ''condition'' so she decided it best to make herself look 29 years old.
Then they left...to the chuunin exams in Kumogakure
