It had been a long week, mission after mission and this latest one turning far worse than he could have imagined. They were simple missions fit for a genin who ha just recently graduated from the academy only a couple years ago but on this last mission he was ambushed by bandits with a former ninja at the head. Sekuro fought well with his limited jutsu and stats but he was overcome, he was to deliver a letter to the Feudal Lords office but the other ninja intercepted him. Who knows if they were looking for the letter intentionally or thought it was something more, but they attacked not too far outside the village. Sekuro was beaten quickly and robbed and as the perpetraitors began to flee a squad of high level ninja possibly ANBU began to follow after them, Sekuro saw them go by too quickly to really identify who they were. One ninja landed and asked if he was okay.
Yeah, I'm fine, was just caught off guard, go get the letter and deliver it if you can. I'm going to head to the hospital to take care of these wounds. He began to check over his injuries, he saw several lacerations and noticed his right arm had been broken as well. There were probably some broken ribs and internal damage too but he couldn't feel any of it, he needed to hurry to a hospital before any serious complications arose. He began to get up and still had the ability to walk despite his condition, as he entered the village again he was found by some local residents and helped to the hospital. His injuries seemed minor to him but he must've looked in poor shape because when he entered the hospital several people turned there heads towards him in a sort of daze at his condition.
He approached the counter and began to explain the events that transpired and why he was still able to walk. The, what Sekuro assumed to be a nurse, took him back to a room and began to test his body for any serious damage. She looked at him sort of relieved as he lied there, almost emotionless to what was happening and to what sort of bad news could be brought. Hmm, that's good there doesn't seem to be any major internal damage other than a couple broken ribs, that also thankfully didn't pierce anything and cause any damage. So, to sum up your condition several broken bones, extensive bruising and several lacerations located variously around your body. All in all you seem lucky, after our treatment and some bed rest all you will feel is soreness and then you'll be good to go.
Sekuro grinned at her comment, to her it seemed as if he was happy that she had given him some good news about his predicament but he was really laughing at her comment about feeling sore. He would feel nothing and would be back at it again quicker then they could imagine. The nurse began to walk towards the door, Just lay her and rest, we will be sending in someone shortly to fix you up right away. She said it in such a calm tone, what had been worry had so quickly turned to a bit of charm and then she was gone.
Sekuro lied there thinking about his encounter and how he had been bested so easily, he was one of the best genin out of his class, able to use ninjutsu and yet one ninja and some bandits got the better of him. It was not the losing that had been bugging him but the fact that he hardly put up a fight and was left in such a poor condition. He would probably be in the hospital for the next few days as they monitored his condition, not being able to feel pain is not a good thing to have when being so broken.
He began to hear some footsteps down the hall and the nurse talking to someone else, could this person be the doctor that would be treating him? It mattered not, as long as he could get back on his feet quickly, he had his honor to regain.
