Shibirin was woken up by a knock on the door. Damn it, he had been rudely woken up from yet another, wonderful dream of him ruling the world. Well, wonderful for him but awful for the world. Any who, he didn’t have time for sleep, it was time he did some missions. He got up and out of bed, hit the shower and as soon as he was done, he put on his regular clothing: a small, blue t-shirt, white shorts and blue Shinobi sandals. He didn’t have anything fancy to wear, like he sees other villagers wear, but then again, who was he trying to impress?
Soon enough, by the time the sun had fully risen; he was out of his house and heading towards the kazekage’s office. He got past the guards easily; they all knew him too well. He entered a small room which was supposed to be where the Kazekage stays. He opened the door and just as expected, she wasn’t there. ’She is probably out talking to old people,’ he thought to himself, as he went right in and approached her desk. There it was the scroll that contained his mission details. Just as he was heading out, he opened it and read it as he walked.
A few minutes went by and Shibirin had read the whole scroll and was just now pinpointing out the important bits. The heading of the scroll read: Trapped. “So, there’s a boy stuck in a well and he needs to be rescued before he starves to death, what an idiot,” he said to himself as he skim-read the other information he didn’t think were important. Sure enough, he had the basic plan of what he was going to do in order to rescue the boy in the most efficient way possible, or close to. Firstly he’d need to bring with him some food: the mission said that he hadn’t eaten for a long time and wouldn’t be able to last another day down there without food, so feeding the boy first seemed like the right thing to do, before pulling him out. With that plan in his head, he set out to find some food at a nearby shop.
After Shibirin had bought all the food he needed, which wasn’t much: two packets of fishcakes, a rice stick and some juice, he figured if it was a lake the boy already had plenty of water. Shibirin chuckled to that thought, just as he was now walking towards the given location of the lake. Along the way he thought to himself, ’If none of the previous rescuers could fit down there to rescue him, would that mean I won’t probably fit as well?’. If this was the case, he’d need some rope or something to carry the boy out. He decided to rush the food over there first, he didn’t want to arrive with everything he needed only to see the boy dead. So he picked up his pace and started sprinting towards the well.
Soon enough, he had arrived at the location, but didn’t stop to take in the scenery. He rummaged through hi small bag for the three packets of fishcakes as he jogged towards the edge of the well. Peeping down, he could see the boy all crouched up to the side of the walls. Poor thing, he must be tired let alone hungry. Shibirin called out to him, ”Hang on, I brought you some food,” as he ripped open the fishcake packets and poured down the cakes. He figured the boy hadn’t the energy to open the plastic packaging, so he decided to do it for him. When he looked back down, he could see the boy eating the cakes like a wild animal. Shibirin decided to try out one of his jutsus to rescue the boy. It was a tricky move, but it just might do the trick. He decided to do his ‘Earth changing terrain’ jutsu to summon a pillar made of earth from beneath the boy and lift him up. So he said to the boy, ”Hang on little guy, I’ll have you out of there in no time”, before standing a few centimetres back, doing the required hand signs before chanting out loud, ”Earth Style: Earth Changing Terrain!”, and within seconds, a large rumbling sound could be heard, along with a few vibrations being felt. Sooner or later, a small child emerged from the well and what had pushed him up was the pillar: it turned out, that Shibirin’s pillar was just tall enough to raise the boy high enough for Shibirin to pull him out, which he did.
”There you go little buddy,” he said to the kid, just before taking him back to the village and over to the shop to get him an icy pole.
