Description: The Sarutobi takes a round to focus his chakra and change it into a controlled amount of fire chakra, starting at his hands and quickly surrounding his entire body. The fire does not quite contact his skin, being protected by a thin layer of chakra. On the second turn he will have an orange glow and any unprotected person who gets within five meters of him will take fourth degree burns, which after the second round of being active reduce to third degree burns. Suiton attacks will do +1 damage on him in this form as well. As this is not a defensive jutsu, any jutsu of equal rank, Suiton Jutsu of A rank or higher, or Fuuton Jutsu of SS rank can break this. Exposure to the jutsu for an armoured opponent for longer than one round will cause the fulle ffects (as the heat is what causes the burns, not the fire itself) The jutsu is sustained by the Sarutobi at a cost of 20 chakra per post.

Description: When Mitsuo activates Wings of the Saint, which take the forming of three hand signs, Boar, Dog, Bird, he focuses his fuuton based chakra inward on himself, right to the core of his being, before redirecting it outside of his body. When he does this, his eyes turn pure white and he emits a sky blue glow, purely asthetic wings of blue and gold growing on his back. The wind chakra itself reacts with his body in two ways. Firstly it takes a portion of his speed and turns it instead into quickness, giving him a +1 tier to Reaction Time (Reflexes) and a -1 tier to Speed. The second thing that the jutsu does is it makes Mitsuo hypersensitive to the air around him, doing so by sending small pulses of wind chakra out into the air in all directions, allowing him to feel different movements of anything that passed through the air within a 15m radius of him. The main use of this ninjutsu is to help Mitsuo when he is using his sword, as it gives him a 360 degree sense of the flow of the battle field and allows him to react quicker than normal. Sustainable until released by the user at -10 chakra per post.

Description: Wind Release: Blade of Wind is an advanced Fūton technique where the user manipulates the air currents around them to create a close quarters "blade" of wind. The user expels chakra out of the tips of their fingers, causing the area around them to begin to cave in on itself violently, causing a howling noise. The air will rapidly compress, and then, following the movement of the fingers expelling chakra, can be shot in a specific direction to cut through a target. On impact it can sever limbs with ease, and can even cut a victim in two. However, it has a very short range and after being directed to strike, dissipates rapidly. The blade extends five metres, is connected to the tip of the fingers controlling it and is a mere 3 cm wide. The howling noise it creates, as well as the disturbance in air pressure all allow an individual facing this technique to identify the danger and get out of close quarters. The range is determined at the start of the ability, so a user cannot start this and then move to get in range before lashing out.

Description: Wind Release: Dust Storm Technique is a technique that expels a stream of high-velocity wind and dust particles to destroy everything that's caught in it's path. To perform this technique, the user must form the Horse, Monkey and Bird hand signs, then overlap their hands in-front of their mouth. They then breathe a potent stream of chakra through their hands, causing it to fire out in a beam of wind and dust. Even the briefest of contact with this attack will cause incredibly deep lacerations, and is capable of removing limbs. If caught directly inside it without protection, the victim would be rendered nothing more than a red mist. Unlike most Fūton techniques, this attack can be seen as a rapidly moving dark grey field, due to the heavy dust particle content inside it. The attack itself is relatively concentrated, being about as wide as the user's shoulders and as tall as their head.

Description: Hell's Gates is a jutsu in which Mitsuo forms three quick hand signs and then slams his hands to the ground. As long as the opponent is within 5 meters of Mitsuo they will be caught in the nightmare that is Hell's Gates. A cage of fire will raise from the ground and surround the victim, forming a two meter wide and two meter tall sphirical cage around the opponent. This cage will stay in play for 5 rounds and each round the air around the opponent will begin to burn away, until eventually they will pass out from lack of oxygen.
Turn 1 - The victim will be trapped, the air around them will begin to heat up but no effect will take place.
Turn 2 - The oxygen around the victim will begin to thin, their eyes will water and they will start to caugh, small first degree burns beginning to form on their bodies.
Turn 3 - The oxygen will become even thinner, causing the victim's head to begin to swim. The burns on their skin will expand into large first degree burns and the start of second degree burns. The opponent will begin to feal weak, their knees shaking and making them not able to grip any items.
Turn 4 - The oxygen will be completely sapped away, strength leaving the opponent as all of their burns turn to second degree burns. The opponent will likely fall to their knees, no longer able to stand as their body will be too weak to react. Only outside help will be able to get the victim out of the jutsu at this point.
Turn 5 - Due to lack of oxygen, the opponent falls unconscious and their body is engulfed in third degree burns. It is completely impossible to escape by this point, not even outside help being able to stop the victim from feinting.
During the first three turns the victim of this jutsu will be able to escape the prison in one of two ways. The first and most simple way to do so would be to cast a Suiton jutsu of B rank or higher, or a Doton jutsu of A Rank or higher, which would instantly put out the flames. A Raiton or Katon jutsu would do nothing to douse the flame unless it was S Rank or higher, and a Fuuton jutsu would only fuel it. The second would be to walk through the intense flames that make up the prison, instantly causing third degree burns to be formed in a grid pattern all along the victim's body. This jutsu can be enhanced with a Fuuton jutsu of C rank and above (Stream being the perfect example). If enhanced by Fuuton, this jutsu will advance one turn quicker (Turn 2 happening on Turn 1 and so forth.) Mitsuo must keep his hands down for the duration of this jutsu, afterwords the flames sustain themselves. Only abilities able to break the cage can make their way through the cage itself, either in or out, meaning that while the opponent is trapped nobody else can attack him unless they break the cage.

Description: The user of this technique first channels his wind chakra into the edge of his blade and then, placing his sword in a low guard, tip pointed towards the ground, he swings his blade up in a diagonal fashion and releases the chakra, sending a wave of Fuuton chakra in an arc towards his opponent, the wave being 5ft wide (the same width as his blade) and moving at 30m/s. If it hits at a close range (within 5m) it has the ability to sever limbs, if it's at a medium range (6-10m) it will cause up to 3 inch cuts and at anything further than 10m (up to 30m) it will cause 2 inch cuts.

Description: The user inhales deeply, forming the horse hand seal, before exhaling a thick cloud of chakra infused flammable ash. This process takes roughly six-eight seconds. This ash is extremely light and responds to the air current, essentially creating a large cloud of smoke to disguise movement. This is not it's true purpose, however. Even the smallest of sparks will ignite this gas cloud, causing a gigantic explosion. If caught in the centre of the explosion, the victim will be covered in third and fourth degree burns. Their eyes and blood will begin to boil, rendering the victim dead within seconds. If caught on the edge of the blast, the victim will receive third degree burns. The ash will last three posts before fading. As the ash is very light and sensitive to the air, any form of wind technique can disperse it or alter it's location.

Description: The user takes a deep breath and spins in the direction of their target while exhaling, compressing the released air into a solitary blade of wind that is 6 inches in width. As it moves outward, it expands, covering a substantial area around the user (blade is 5m wide, grows to 15m by the end of the jutsu's radius) due to its circular motion. The resulting sharpened blast is large enough to cause grievous injuries to those at even the outer edges of the jutsu's radius. The wind-blade can sever limbs at point-blank range (<3m), deliver 4-inch-deep cuts at 10m or less, and 3-inch-deep cuts at any further distance.

Description: Shadow Doppelganger Technique creates up to 4 clones of the user. Unlike the regular Bunshin, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each one an equal fraction of the user's overall power. Because they are created this way, even the Sharingan and Byakugan can't distinguish them from the original. The user of this technique must form a hand sign to create the clones, they cannot form them simply by will. The clones will be created in roughly the same physical condition as the original [wounds and debuffs present on creation are copied over]; also, the user must equally divide their chakra among the clones, potentially using up all their chakra quickly if the user is low on chakra or makes too many clones. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed. They can also disperse on the user's whim. A characteristic that is unique to the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. This makes the technique ideal for spying, since the user can simply send a clone to spy on a target, then have the clone disperse itself without returning to pass the information back to the user. THE USER REGAINS THE CHAKRA THE CLONE HAD IF AND ONLY IF HE/SHE DISPERSES IT OF HIS/HER OWN WILL. TAKES A 1 POST PREP TO DISPERSE.
When you create a shadow clone, your chakra is divided among it/them. For example, let's say you're a Chuunin with max chakra. Your current chakra, 200, would be reduced by 20 for the cost of the jutsu; you want to make 4 clones, so your chakra is divided by 4. This gives each clone a 1/4th of your chakra. So, each clone would have 45 chakra. Being that they are shadow clones, they are each able to perform jutsu themselves; they have their own separate chakra pool, and also follow their own cooldowns for jutsu. Each Shadow Clone has a reserve of stamina; their individual chakra is reduced by an amount appropriate amount to the damage done (E-10, D-15, C-20, B-25, A-30, S-35). The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause a noteworthy level of physical damage [second/third degree burns, broken bones, stab wounds, etc] If the original uses a technique before creating the shadow clones, the remaining cooldown on the technique applies to all clones created.

Description: Wind Release: Air bullets is a technique where the user fires a barrage of condensed bullets of air. The user forms the bird hand seal, condensing their chakra into several pressurised spheres of wind that the user spits out in rapid succession towards the opponent. These air bullets are transparent spheres, and are roughly 4 inches in diameter. When fired, they travel at roughly 50mph. Direct impact by one of these spheres will knock the victim back several feet, tear through any clothing it hits and leaves the surface of the skin where it hit torn and frayed. If a bullet passes near the target, it can leave small lacerations on any exposed flesh it comes near. The cost is 5 chakra per bullet, and the user must fire at least three at once. a maximum of eight can be fired per use.

Description: The Fire Clone Jutsu is similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu except it creates clones out of fire that have one-tenth of the original person's chakra. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the fire clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal fire. Fire clones are capable of only using Katon jutsu provided they have enough chakra to cast it. A maximum of six clones may be created at any one time. The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause a noteworthy level of physical damage [second/third degree burns, broken bones, stab wounds, etc] or a C-rank/2 D-Rank offensive jutsu.

Description: The user forms the Tiger hand seal and breathes deep, filling their throat and lungs with chakra. They then exhale this chakra as a massive orb of roaring flames. It can either be fired as a gigantic sphere of flame or used as a flame-thrower style stream of flames. Either way, the released flames will engulf their target, causing second degree burns to all exposed flesh. The ball of flame will be the size of a bus, regardless of which form it is used in. When used as a flame-thrower, the attack will extend 15 metres in-front of the user. When the user stops breathing the stream of flame or a post lapses, the stream will end and the fireball will simply evaporate. When used as a fireball the sphere will travel at 30 mph. While this form of the attack can travel 80 metres, after it spans 25 metres it will begin to fade, gradually shrinking and becoming less potent. After 50 metres, it can only cause mild first degree burns.

Description: Wind Release: Stream is a movement technique with no offensive application, designed to allow a shinobi to maneuver mid-air. The shinobi exhales a powerful, concentrated stream of wind from their mouth. This stream has enough force to accelerate the user's movement mid-air or allow them them to rapidly change the direction they're going in. Beyond this, however, it has several unintended effects. When blown into the ground, it's force can help dislodge dirt and sand, creating a small smoke-screen effect. Naturally, this requires loose dirt or sand. The stream has enough force to knock projectiles aside, as well as to make someone hit by it stagger back a few feet, assuming the caster is 5 metres or less away from the person being hit.

This jutsu cannot be used in combat; only as a way to escape from a fight or thread.

Description: Temporary Paralysis Technique is a technique that physically restrains an opponent, as if the opponent had been tied in invisible steel ropes. It debilitates the victim for a short period of time by binding their arms to their torso and chaining their legs together, which allows the user to either strike again, or take the target into custody. This jutsu will only work on people who are below your rank [eg if you're a chuunin it won't work on another chuunin, but it will work on a genin] The user of this technique must state the name of the ability out loud, as well as forming a hand seal. The air around the user will be disturbed as the "chains" move into place, giving the victim a chance to dodge the technique. This technique can be overpowered with raw physical strength. An individual with C rank Taijutsu or A rank Kenjutsu can force themselves free, breaking the ability. This process would take a few seconds, during which time their arms and legs will still be restrained.

Description: A member of the Sarutobi Clan who has chosen to follow the path of the Sentinel can use this jutsu. They form a horse handsign and coat their body in a shield of fire, a thin membrane of chakra between themselves and their bodies to prevent them from burning themselves. This jutsu acts as a normal shield against incoming jutsus, blocking two jutsus of the same rank, or four of a lower rank. This jutsu can be completely cancelled by a Suiton jutsu of the same rank, or two of one lower rank. The jutsu can be maintained as long as the Sarutobi chooses to pay the chakra cost.

Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to--battle, intelligence gathering, diversions--this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons. This gives this technique an abundance of uses. The transformation of a skilled shinobi will be visually and physically the same as the original, so it will be impossible to tell the two apart. On the other hand, a transformation performed by an inexperienced person will have obvious discrepancies. It will be impossible to deceive anyone with it. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. This jutsu is purely appearance-based, and does not give a ninja the abilities or jutsu of a person they transform into. Dojutsu can easily pick out this technique, and if the user has transformed into someone larger than themselves, the bits beyond their natural body will have no heat signature. This, and the fact that the chakra of the user wouldn't look normal makes it easier for sensing techniques to pick out transformed people. Costs 5 chakra on activation, and an additional 5 chakra every 2 posts.

Description: Using this technique, the user can create up to five intangible clones that appear physically identical to the user. The clone has no physical form, and as such cannot attack. When any object passes through the clone, be it a fist, a rock or a blade, the clone will evaporate. It's mainly used to help mask the user, helping them attack an opponent who is superior at dodging. The clones do not disturb the area around them, don't have shadows or body heat, and as such experienced ninja can easily pick them out. Costs 5 chakra to create clones.

Description: Substitution Technique is an age old skill which enables the user to move at speeds beyond readable perception for a fraction of a moment. Switching with a solid item previously mentioned in the thread in place of themselves, the ninja leaves behind a flickering after-image for a second, which, if damaged releases the chakra which holds it in place in a small smoke cloud, revealing the nature of the technique and the item they have switched with. Though a skilled user's after image for a moment of its flickering lifespan is able to show some of the signs of natural impact as if it were solid, before 'poofing'. The user coming out of the technique creates a similar audio and visual cue with a small cloud of translucent smoke and a 'poofing' sound on appearance. Though as they move at such high speeds it is impossible to co-ordinate a physical attack in any form. Ninja using substitute therefore, while being able to manoeuvre close to an opponent, are unable to set up or follow through with any pre-prepared strike at high speed. (Though it can be used to appear, 'and then' launch an attack, a ninja cannot appear 'in mid strike' as it is impossible to coordinate on such a scale at those speeds.)

Description: A technique taught at the Ninja Academy requiring chakra control. By using Kai, a ninja disrupts their own flow of chakra, then starts it again. This allows a ninja to escape from illusions, provided he or she has figured out that a Genjutsu is active. This is an E-ranked technique, but has variable chakra costs. The user must pay 15 more chakra for every rank the Genjutsu is above their own rank.- Genin: 15 chakra for a D-ranked Genjutsu. Genin cannot dispel B-ranked Genjutsu.

Description: Supernatural walking Practice is a basic ninja technique. It involves using chakra flow to channel chakra to one's hands or feet, allowing him/her to walk on surfaces that normally do not allow it. This includes, but is not limited to, walls/ceilings, trees, and even water. Should the flow of chakra stop for any reason, the user will immediately fall off of the surface they are walking on, or plunge underwater.- Genin: 15 chakra for a D-ranked Genjutsu. Description: Knowing full well that a shinobi's corpse is essentially a treasure trove of information, this technique is used by ANBU to completely destroy their body if caught or on the verge of death. This technique leaves no trace of the user's body behind whatsoever. This can be used on corpses left on the battlefield, or on oneself as a form of suicide. The former takes 3 posts to accomplish, while destroying oneself can be done in an instant.

Description: A technique which allows ANBU members to be able to keep track of the village and their surroundings. These tactical ninja are able to see over long distances with hawklike eyes, able to pick up the finest of details, from residual chakra from techniques even as faint as the Supernatural Walking Practice, as well as personalized chakra signatures, down to recent footprints and other tracks in broken shrubbery or other environs. If the user has the Ace Eye special characteristic, the range increases x1.5.

Description: This technique puts a 'willing' target in a state of deep sleep through halting bodily functions down to the cellular level; this technique allows a skilled ANBU to rescue a ninja an inch from death and maintain the jutsu until Medical aid can be called in. This technique increases the effectiveness of Medical Ninjutsu on the target by +1 rank; if the user specializes Medical Ninjutsu, this technique heals similarly to a D-ranked healing technique, letting the target recover from 1-inch cuts, first-degree burns, and minor bruising. As the user continues this jutsu, they can slowly heal more and more damage, removing the target from critical condition.

Description: The ANBU, by concentrating and compressing their chakra, creates and maintains a barrier by pressing both of their hands to the ground to defend themselves. The barrier can be made as a 180 degree dome around the user or a simple wall, and, though resilient, is difficult to maintain. It's capable of withstanding 2 techniques of 1 rank higher and 1 technique of 2 ranks higher; as ANBU often roam in squads, for each additional ANBU using the skill, its Rank increases by +1, allowing ANBU squads to seal in or imprison certain targets or deflect/contain powerful attacks as a team that they otherwise would not be able to alone.

Description: This technique is used by the ANBU to pull out forgotten memories. After forming the needed hand seals (Dog, Snake, Ox, Bird, Tiger), the ANBU will use chakra to access brain function by touching their hands to their head. The ANBU then is able to recall the events of the targets life up to six post rounds prior to use, per active post of this technique. The target must be either compliant, unconscious or restrained for this technique to be successful.
