Just as Mikasa finished yelling at him, She watched his face for a reaction. She wanted to know how he was planning on this, And mikasa watched as Sozo Snapped. Before she could even move to do anything, she felt a sharp pain in stomach, right below her rib cage. Mikasa coughed up a small amount of blood, and then she looked down. She then saw it. What she was feeling in her stomach. Sozo silver was jammed inside of, and blood was rushing everywhere. She... had... been... stabbed... Her face of Anger turn to shock, the cold air turned warm. Mikasa didn't fell angry however, she didn't feel hate, or violent at all. For the first time in forever, she didn't want to hurt someone, or even feel any emotion other then... what was it she was feeling? relieved? happiness. Yes it was both. Mikasa felt relieved. That is when it hit her. she WAS relieved. with that one move, she had been relieved from everything, her anger, her self given duty to make life hell, her violent nature, her sadness and fear. yes that was the most important. Her clinging on to the past, was gone. She no longer felt hurt, scared or sad. She looked up at Sozo with a genuine and honest smile, and placed one hand on his cheek. then she said to him "Thank you" her face said it all. She was truly grateful for the relief Sozo had brought to her, and it was apparent. She wrapped Sozo into a warm hug, but this wouldn't last long as the blood drained from her body and onto sozo's arm and into her lungs. Mikasa coughed up more blood and collapsed to the ground. Using one arm to cover her stomach as the body's natural response to stop the bleeding, she used her other hand to take a gentle hold of Sozo's hand and then looked up at him with sweet eyes, that had a small build up of tears. "Sozo?" She said, her voice sounding sweet and innocent, her words filled with something that hadn't filled mikasa words in a long time, it was something mixed with sweetness and innocence. "Will you listen to me?" her words still having the pleasant tone to them, one filled with relief, One with enough kindness to ask for Sozo's attention instead of demand it. She had come to realize all of the terrible things she had done, and knew Sozo must have been angry with her, or something, so if he wouldn't hear her last words then that was fine. She just wanted him... the one who had freed her of her curse, to hear her one last message.
