Binsu

"Another lemon ginger please," Binsu spoke aloud, cautiously ignoring the various bewildered stares from the drunk men and women who saw him as a traitor for not demanding alcohol. Although his friends weren't proud of it, Binsu disliked the idea of getting drunk. The phobia lead to many women rejecting his romantic appeals to them, and it also made it difficult for him to make friends. Not that he was looking to make friends. The Jounin often found himself sitting alone at a table for two with nothing but a soft drink or tea in his hands, much like he was today.

After the bartender poured him a tall yet think glass of lemon juice, with a 'hint' of ginger, with four ice-cubes and a pink-coloured plastic straw leaning on the inside of the mix, Binsu decided to take his drink and return to his seat. The strong smells of alcohol and sweat creeped into his nostrils and hugged the insides. The smell wasn't so much as bad as disorientating. Within seconds the Jounin had returned to his seat, but a sixth sense warned him he wouldn't remain there for long.

"Hey nimrod! You're in my seat!" a brute voice called out from behind. Binsu turned his gaze towards the voice, only to be greeted by the sight of a large, muscular build of a man who didn't look too attractive. Binsu wasn't gay, but although he couldn't tell when a guy looked to attractive to women, he was smart enough to guess when a guy was ugly-beyond-second-thought. "I'm sorry sir you must be mistaken, i made sure no one was sitting here when I sat down," Binsu jokingly addressed the man, half serious about the missunderstandment. The man displayed a large grin, the type of grin a large predator puts on before striking down its prey. "I said this is my seat, now move!!" The whole bar plunged into a wave of silence, glares from all around the room all focused on the two men before them. Binsu didn't pay any attention to their crowd, he didn't take his eyes off the brute, half plotting to cut his head clean off of his shoulders with his own tounge.

Every bone in his body told him to attack, every muscle supported the idea of seeing the brute's lifeless body melted onto the wall behind him. His mind would've made the call to attack, but his heart stepped in at the last momen. "Sorry sir, I don't know what I was thinking. Here the seat is all yours," he's say, forcing a fake smile to appear on his lips as they moved to the rythym of his words. The man widened his cocky smirk and said, "That's right asshole," before taking a seat where Binsu had once sat. With his drink in his hand Binsu made his way through the disapointed glares of the bar: the people wanted to see a fight, but Binsu didn't give them one. Binsu made his way out the bar and stopped at the door, before taking small sips from his drink whilst starring blindly at the moon above him. The popular belief at the time was that he hadn't chosen to fight the brute because he was scared; which was partially true. Binsu was scared he would've killed the guy...

"Ouch!" Owy hit the table with his foot once again. It is pretty stupid that he does this thing everytime he wants to get up. Now what? Well, he got up, but he still didn't want to leave that bar. He wanted to drink another tea, it made him feel like home. The tea was his favourite drink, so he was often drinking a lot of it. It couldn't do any harm to him, right? Right? Owydelu didn't like alcohol that much. Maybe it was because he was getting drunk very easy, or maybe it might have been because he was surrounded by people that liked drinking and he wanted to be unique and have its own style. So, either if it was the first or the second option, Owydelu still didn't like drinking and that was it. No man or woman could've changed that and it was a fact. Or maybe a woman could've changed the way he thinks, but, for now, there wasn't any woman that changed his life before or that was currently changing his life right now.

Suddenly, one big guy tried to start a fight with another one. Good thing that one of them abandoned the fight and just walked away. It seemed like they were fighting over a drinking spot. Well, that's why Owydelu didn't like drinking and the people that were doing it. Well, it was unfortunate. No one could stop these people from doing it and not even the ones that were drinking couldn't stop doing it. It was like a curse that couldn't be spelled away. Seeing as one of those guys  was getting up and walking away, Owydelu decided to get to congratulate him for being the wisest one. He drank his tea quickly and he left the money on the table. He got up and...."OUCH!" Once again, he hit his foot. But now he had to move quickly. He got out of the bar, while jumping in one foot and he screamed: "Hey, you there! Congratulations man, you seem like you knew how to get away from a fight that could've made the drunken people happy! What's your name?" Owydelu was patiently waiting for that man to reveal his identity.

"OUCH!" a voice cried out through the noise. Binsu turned his head towards the direction of the voice, only to meet the glare of a stranger who seemed much taller than himself. The figure was reasonably slender and his posture was more straight than Binsu's; his face was smeared with a congratulating smile and his words confirmed his intentions. "Hey, you there! Congratulations man, you seem like you knew how to get away from a fight that could've made the drunken people happy! What's your name?" The man spoke with such sincerity in his words, his tone more friendlier. He didn't show the obvious signs of a drunk man, perhaps he was an undercover drunkie. Regardless of the man's motives Binsu kindly accepted his congratulation saying, "Thank you. It takes a man to know when not to fight." A hint of cockiness was evident in his tone, but he wasn't as self-absorbed as one might have suggested.

The man asked him for his name; such a cliche way of greeting new people should've been abolished by now, why hasn't it? People assumed names held the complete identity of a person, regardless of whether another person had the same name or not. People used names as a regular means of identification. Oh how it was such a flawed system, yet Binsu never decided to question it. Binsu wanted to explain to the man how a name could have a million avatars, but how only the one in question mattered, but he didn't. This wasn't the time nor place. "Binsu, and yours?" he spoke, paying the man his full undivided attention.

Ah, what a predictable move he did there. Owydelu just asked for his name. It wasn't that much of a classy move, but it was efficient for sure! Why would he just run around a single point, when he could've just asked the question and get the damn answer. Well, that's what he did for sure. That man quickly answered "Binsu, and yours? That was a fine answer that he gave him. Binsu seemed to be more than just a normal person. He seemed to be more like a....ninja. He had that look in his eyes and that told Owy about his true identity. But he didn't want to ask him yet about his occupation or something like this. He just wanted to learn more about him, as Binsu seemed like a trustworthy and intelligent person. If Owy would've ever asked for his help, he was sure that Binsu wouldn't hesitate to help him. Binsu seemed like that kind of a person that doesn't act as an enemy, but more as a friend that helps you all the time.

But while Owy was thinking about all of these, he forgot that he had to answer a question. Some people might've thought that he was weird because he didn't answer the first moment he heard the question, but he hoped that Binsu wasn't that kind of a person. He quickly said : "Owydelu!" He wanted to ask about his identity, but Owy was sure that Binsu won't answer sincerely to someone that he just met. That question wasn't appropriate enough to be mentioned, so he had to think of something else to find the answer himself. "Do you want to eat something? Maybe some ramen? Or go for a walk?" Owy was getting weird now so he stopped from talking and stood there, waiting for Binsu to answer his question.

"Owydelu," the man spoke with such promise and trust looming in his words. He looked like a social man for sure, certainly the better contrast of Binsu. The young swordsman had never been the type to go around greeting outsiders and exchanging names with complete strangers. It never fit his character. It was alien to him. The very idea of this man finding it within himself to take the trouble of approaching Binsu and making attempts at befriending him almost mislead Binsu into believing he was working for the ANBU or some surgical, top secret organisation that was out to decipher his true identity. He thought being friendly was part of the men's plan to lure him into giving away valuable information about himself which he'd later regret sharing. Binsu almost placed a villinous identity over the strangely outgoing man, but one thing, no one proposal wiped all his suspicions away. A proposal at first which gradually became an idea, an idea that grew into a plan for the very-near future. "Do you want to eat something? Maybe some ramen? Or go for a walk?"

The man must have played a dangerous game of inception with Binsu and won: for one reason or the other Binsu found himself craving the taste of noodles, more specifically ramen. How had he done it? He had influenced the swordsman's taste buds to lust over the salty taste of spicy noodles with oriental scents and colours to match. His fingers longed to wrap themselves around the smooth and cool wooden chopsticks whilst the other set of fingers gripped loosely around the belly of the bowl. A few minutes ago the only thought that sat on the edge of his mind was the thought of heading home, but now home was the last of his destinations for the night. Somehow, this Konoha villager, or shinobi, or traveller had managed to spontaneously farm an idea within Binsu's mind that would soon prompt him to make the decision he was just about to make.

"Ramen sounds just fine my friend," the words escaped Binsu's mouth, as his eyes remained fixated on the stranger's face whilst his mouth posed itself like a smile. Binsu couldn't say for sure the decision he had made was on hundred percent his, but he sure didn't see the negative impacts it'd have on his night, or on his life. The worst that could happen was he'd over-eat whilst at the ramen shop and fall asleep prematurely as a result of this, after which he'd leave his body at the mercy of those who were present around him at the time. The fear of such a thing happening would hopefully monitor the amount of food he are, whilst the ever-brewing suspicion over the oddly kind stranger would further fuel his curiosity for the man. A conversation between the two would spark from the simplest of questions, such as, "So what makes you different from the bagger who stole my seat, Owydelu?" Binsu asked the man in a tone that suggested he was merely asking for the sake of starting a conversation, however the question meant to him much more than that. Like the question of 'why do we make tea?' Binsu's question was in many ways very rhetorical, literal, metaphorical and empirical. There was no right or wrong answer, only an opinionated statement.

....and opinions tell stories about the person who gives them
