Chisaki
D-rank
The Chuunin Exams had come to a close for yet another year. The participants had fought hard over the past week or so, each vying for the top spot, to become the newest Chuunin of their respective village. That accolade had been bestowed upon a young girl from Kumo, known as Kaekio. Chisaki had been present at every single one of the battles for the final stage of the exam, for medical purposes and her own enjoyment. The Chuunin Exams, despite their violent nature, had been the source of many festivals over the ages, and they attracted many citizens from the various villages scattered over the world. Chisaki had been invited to witness the exams for a multitude of reasons. Her position as the Medical Corps Leader, Head of the Senju Clan and of course, the most recent female companion of Sousetsu Senju, the Hokage, had granted her VIP status. Coming to the exams had certainly been interesting. She had seen many promising young shinobi and had a lot of interesting experiences around Takigakure itself, making the trip both memorable and worthwhile.
With a small sigh, Chisaki span around in the chair she was sat in. The room around her was averagely sized, with a desk and several filing cabinets, with little in the way of ornaments and decoration. Despite supposedly being on holiday, Chisaki was dressed in the crisp snow white medical coat of a doctor once more, and was sat in an office. Not her usual office bearing in mind. She was in an entirely new hospital, one that she'd spent very little time in. Over the course of the past couple of months, Chisaki had been approaching the various medical institutes of the world, and had been giving them the opportunity to count themselves as a member of the Lotus Collective. A group of hospitals and other medical practices dedicated to quality healing among other things. At the current moment, she had at least one medical institute in every village, sometimes more, both big and small, that counted themselves among the Collective. They ranged from small herbalists to gigantic hospitals and everything in between. This hospital was the most recent one in the Collective, and she was helping to standardize all the goings-on of the hospital personally.
Chisaki stood up then, noticing the time on her watch. A couple of the patients had been placed directly under her care, at her own request. These patients were all the participants of the Chuunin Exams. As a fellow shinobi, Chisaki felt morally obligated to take these patients under her wings. Speaking of wings, her snowy owl companion, Tomomi, flew down from the rafters of the office and landed on her right shoulder. He cleared his throat and spoke to her, in his usual tone, that made him sound wiser than his mere four years of age "My lady, well over two hundred organizations and medical institutes now answer directly to the Lotus Collective. Our aid has allowed the medical care in these places to sky rocket, reducing the amount of injured and the global death rate. This rate will continue to fall as more join us according to my calculations" Chisaki nodded somewhat, and spoke back "Very good, Tomomi" Chisaki began to walk out the room, her heels clicking against the tiled flooring.
Exiting the office, Chisaki was greeted by a corridor bathed in sunlight from various windows. There were doctors, nurses and patients roaming the corridor, either heading down another corridor, down a set of stairs, or into one of the various rooms that branched off the corridor. There weren't many, only ten other people in total, but they were there regardless. Each one of the staff had been here long before Chisaki had ever set foot in the hospital, so some were apprehensive about her, yet others liked her already. Greeting each of them with a smile and a nod, Chisaki walked down the corridor. Tomomi chirped up from her shoulder as she walked "Almost all the patients are recovering, the ones under your care at least. One of them, however, Himitsu Nozomi, needs your attention this morning before the others" Chisaki nodded once more as she arrived outside one of the rooms at the end of the corridor. A name had been scrawled below the room number, "ROOM 101, HIMITSU NOZOMI - RECOVERING" A group of doctors and herself had originally healed most of the young girls substantial wounds, but hospital care had been required for a few days, today would be a check up and light healing if all went well. Knocking on the door, Chisaki entered the room.
