Kishin
D-rank
- General Appearance:
It was one of the few times Kishin had left his abode dressed traditionally. It was just a day after the match his sister had against the one known as Kaekio, a friend to his sister, and now turned enemy to him. The fight was gruelingly boring at the start, as both of them didn't seem up to the fight. He, of course, was rooting on his sister Nozomi to win the match. But that feeble beginning, the lack luster want to compete, he wished that the fight would have just ended there. Though, not for what would transgress afterwards, but just to avoid the pain he saw on the faces of the two within the arena at that time. It was disturbing to the young boy, more so than if he had seen his sister lose outright. It would have been better if that Sand girl had beaten Nozomi than to have what would came about.
The match between Nozomi and Suteki was a match. Anger, enjoyment, neutrality, surprise, determination, these were emotions he could accept. The match, though fraught with energy from both of the girls, it was a mutual feelings of a need and acceptance to what was coming. He of course hoped his sister would win, and was overjoyed that she had managed to beat the girl, he didn't hold a grudge against the sand girl for attacking his sister, even if she would have won.
But the next match, was writhe with gloom and tragedy. He knew that onee san and Kaekio knew each other, and had a great respect and genuine fondness for each other. Than to see what had occurred, the match wasn't a match between rivals, or even a respectful match between friends. It was a match, for lack of a better outlook, misplaced love then deception.
He watched as onee san and Kaekio made there way out to the arena grounds, a simple introduction by the speaker than the start of the match. The two of them stood face to face and didn't flinch, or rather, respond at all. Attacks bounded from both, but no effort was placed into them. The match should have been stopped by the proctors at that moment. Lack of defense put up by either fighter should have been enough, in his eyes. Than they got a few scratches, though the mob grew loud with excitement, any trained shinobi would have been able to tell otherwise. They each let themselves be hit, taking most of the attacks, acceptingly. The match was strife with emotions that should have been accepted. That should have been the end of the match. It would have been better to just end both of the girls suffering right then, but the match had to go on. After all, it was just the start of the match.
A friendly spar would have been one thing, something that if he had run into, no. If he had to fight Nozomi, which he had done in the past, they would have held back their attacks, if they would have seriously injured one another, but would have accepted their loss gracefully. What had unraveled in the arena field below, that was just horribly, horribly wrong. As he continued to watch, Kishins face grew redder and redder with anger. He wanted to come between them, he wanted to interfere, he wanted to end the punishment that was to come, and would continue most certainly, but he didn't. It took all his energy, and an extreme amount of vocal profanity to stop him from helping his beloved sister. He knew he wasn't strong enough to go between onee san and Kaekio, let along stop either of them.
Kishin was still a student at the academy, learning the basics to becoming a shinobi. Just two weeks before he was learning how to properly walk up a tree using chakra focusing. If he had stayed in the village, he would probably still be practicing that art with the other students. He had managed to run halfway up the tree, being the 3rd highest reaching student of his class. With the promise of practicing while cheering on his sister, whom had left a few weeks earlier, he would be allowed to leave school for a short time. So he had taken time off to watch and cheer on his village and especially Nozomi, learning what it took to be an elite, well, at least to grow from being a student to genin, to chuunin.
This though, it had been a little to much for the young boy. He had wished that he hadn't come at all just to see his wonderful sister be betrayed so horrible in front of so many, including him most of all. Kaekio had taken advantage of the melancholy and abhorred feelings of Nozomi, thrashing her just before onee sans rational need to survive would kick in. The damage had been dealt, and the emotional damage was still apart on onee sans face, but Kaekio seemed intent on ripping her to shreds. Electrocuting, burning, slicing, everything she could dish out to win, to take advantage of the momentary weakness, feelings, emotion shown to her by onee san. To him, Kaekio seemed to be out for blood at that moment, and to him, she was one to be abhorred now. Nozomi tried to defended herself, tried to stay off Kaekio as best she could, but she was to weak from the attacks prior, and emotion that gripped her still, even after all that had happened just moments prior. Than the sword came out, and she attacked in an attempt to permanently disfigure, destroy, end onee sans life.
The proctors jumped in just in time to rush her to the hospital. He, was to distraught to remember what happened after they jumped into the ring. His memory fuzzy as he blacked out after rushing to the edge of the arena, trying to jump over the rail to aid his sister, or to kill the girl that he now saw as an agent of all that he found evil in the world. She was evil incarnate to him, and he might have been acting on the need to restore order to the world as he saw fit.
He was now at the outskirts of Takigakure, taking a day off to try and cool what nerves he could. His sister was still at the hospital, being tended to by a many physicians, in an attempt to keep her alive. Yesterday, after regaining consciousness from whatever had occurred to him after the match, When he had awakened, he was quite confused, almost thinking what he had seen, what had happened was just a dream, some horrible nightmare of what could come. Though his surroundings in the hospital, the nurses trying to consul him for some reason. His face had felt wet, and his throat itchy, feeling constricted as if a snake or hands were wrapped around it. He felt a heating pressure all over his body as he rushed through the hospital, than taken down, restricted by guards. He waited several hours until he could see the face of Nozomi, just to enter the room, sit next to her and take it all in. The blank look on his face apparent from the moment he took the chair next to onee san, until early morning this day. he had spent the entire day beside onee san, anger tearing at him from within, though a rather blank expression planted outside. He didn't speak to anyone the entire day, unmoved by any effort made by nurses to get him to talk, eat, or move. He was a blank slate, entirely and oddly unemotional. The medical staff had though something was severely wrong with him, but decided to withhold efforts to separate him from his unconscious sister for the time being. They would let time play its role, hopefully being shocked back to reality when she would awaken.
Now, after running for hours on end, anger being his guide, he found himself in a remote area close to the edge of the expanse that made up Takigakure. He wanted the strength to bring what he thought of as justice for the horrible transgressions that had been wrought upon his beloved onee san. Though to gain such justice, he needed strength, something he sorely lacked. Though, the flame of carnage within pushed him, made him believe he could achieve what was needed in hours, maybe a day at most. The hours spent running through the forests outside Takigakure just such a form of exerciser in the futility that was to be his day well spent.
He ran as fast as he could that day, for no particular reason, and no particular location in mind. Kishin decided to just run, as if something pulling him to the end of the road from the hospital. Then, he just continued on, to the edge of the civilized portion of Takigakure. When he got there, he still felt more could be mustard. So he ran in another random direction, just to run, just to feel something other than the sadness that was pulling at him. Anger, he hopped, would be his savior, from the unending pain he felt. At one point, he reached an impasse. A great cliff that led off into nothingness for at least a good 1000 meters. An endless sight of green beyond to where he could see nothing else but green. The pain still wrought within, so he turned around and ran back in the direction he had come. For how long he ran, walked at some point, than ran again he wasn't sure. Though he started well before sunlight shone, being led by the lights that lined the streets, and peoples houses. The sun now shown almost directly overhead. He stopped, breathing hard, and collapsed onto the floor. The sky was now his canvas, as he watched clouds float by, creating figures of animals and some such above. His eye lids growing heavy as he stared. The shadow from the tree, the pain within his legs, all were drawing attention away from the nightmare he had witnessed, the nightmare that was reality. The pain was his friend now, a friend which stuck by his side unyieldingly pleasurable at that moment. He tried to lift himself, his leg to bend, his arm to rise and push off the ground. Nothing was giving in to allow him to recede backwards at the moment. Again he stared off into the heavens, watching some bird squawk as they flew by. His eyes growing heavier, the world slowly being drowned out by nothingness. He blinked slowly, trying to strain his eyes open again, though they too gave out to the unforgiving pain, fatigue he was now suffering from. He smiled for a moment, realizing how futile his attempt was at that moment, but it was a fleeting moment as everything seemed to vanish all at once, allowing his imagination to take over yet again, as it had done just a day before.
