The mission:

Mure was pretty much minding his own. Aimi and him had arrived in Suna just a couple of nights ago. They had begun hitting up town by town along the coast making it to the merchants road leading straight up into the main village. It was rumored to be the easiest and shortest route to take. Aside from heading straight there from the east. Had Mure not been obsessed with seeing the ocean they would of taken that route. But he had been obsessed and now he smelled of salt water and was beaming with enjoyment from playing in the ocean waters. It was Warm in suna and the cool water was refreshing. He even got to cook a crab. Still now it was about nightfall. They had managed to pitch their tents just outside of the town. It was cheap and so far no one minded as long as they weren't on someones property. Mure was actually buying food and souvenirs so they weren't considered homeless or hippies. Still odd looks were still given to Mure's gas mask. It didn't function at all but it was there for a reason. And so was his long sleeved shirt and baggy pants. It hid the hive holes.

That was the thing about Mure. He was an Aburame. Which meant he was a living hive for a chakra beetle colony. And as was with his clan he was a walking weapon. Occasionally he would buzz and people would watch him in confusion but so far he had kept a lid on his abilities. After all Mure was just a shy fourteen year old kid. His dull yellow eyes avoided looking at people with any amount of time behind them. He was curious and aware of his surroundings but he never wanted any conflict. Too often had he been abused or insulted for something as simple as a lingering gaze. He had been hospitalized for simply being nearby before as he was considered the cursed child. The Aburame people feared. If he was around it was rumored bad things would happen. He was more of a bad omen then a damned black cat or walking under a ladder. And he was hated for it. That was partially why he had come to Suna after all. To start over and get away from that cursed talk. Maybe actually be accepted here.

But what he didn't know was that he was walking into a whole new scene with this next town. A warzone of sorts. Pirate raids had plagued the village and now the villagers were filled with angst. Some wanted to fight back and others, well they wanted to see the pirates leave peacefully and were afraid of how the pirates would react to any acts of bravery. No one seemed to notice the young boy chewing on a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich sitting by the railing of the market peer. Curious yellow eyes glancing about as he watched them curiously. His konoha headband wrapped around him as a belt around the waist.

Still night began to fall as Mure waited. The people had been talking about some trap they had devised to lure to pirates into a certain dock they intended to destroy with the pirates on it. Still the concern was they were expecting some shinobi back up in case it didn't take out the pirate menace entirely. But so far no word had been returned. The crowds were starting to mumble about fleeing instead. Without back up the plan would surely fail. After all they were not trained fighters and the pirates were criminals. If destroying the dock barely phased them then the pirates would surely slaughter them all. More and more people were starting to leave the crowd. Running away to collect their valuables and run. So sure of failure that they would prefer to just run then to try. It vexed Mure but he knew Aimi was a good mile away from the town still snoring away in the tent. She knew Mure was off on an adventure and would be back so likely she wouldn't arrive in time to help. Still he wasn't completely incapable right? He could at least make sure nobody ended up dead. Hopefully.

Still at the end of it almost everyone had bailed. All that remained was one old man on a cane and his two sons. Together they stared out at the docks. Mure was fascinated by them. Unlike the others they wanted to stand and fight. Even if it meant standing alone. If anything Mure was in awe of them. They were very brave and he wanted to be that brave one day. Still he decided to mind his own and see if they needed help at all. He was super curious now to see how things might turn out. He was hoping the plan would work and rooting for the three of them to save their village. After all the pirates in the books he had read were always wicked and greedy and killed and took what they wanted. It would be that night that he would discover just how true that was.

As night fell the perpetration was complete. The old man had planted the explosive tags on the dock and his sons had moved all the boats to the other docks. Now the port only had the one dock. The three of them hid themselves as Mure watched. Snacking on a candy bar now. He was far enough away not to be noticed or be a bother. It took a bit but as the moon rose over the ocean Mure saw a dark ship approaching. As it approached a long boat detached from it. Silent as could be the boat approached the dock. It got closer and closer as Mure felt the excitement building. Upon reaching the dock it bumped it. And suddenly the dock exploded! The boat was thrown along with its inhabitants. The boat itself burning. It seemed like the plan had worked! But that was just a happy illusion.

Suddenly out of the water a spear shot up as if the ocean itself was retaliating. Through the night the spear flew true until with a thud it slammed into the chest of the old man throwing him off his feet and down into the sands. Mure was in shock as he watched. It seemed to take forever for the old man to fall and when his body hit the sands it was all Mure could stare at. His blood thumping in his ears with his heartbeat. Dadump dadump babumpb babump bumpbumpbumpbump. Even as he watched the two sons rush to their fathers side and pull out the spear his vision faded. His mind couldn't handle the emotions and he was collapsing in on himself. The brave old man he had admired was dying...for greed. Mure was angry. And so his switch was flipped.

Mure was out but his body was moving. His switch was flipped and he had blacked out. Heavy foot steps brought him across the beach as he ran towards the docks from his hiding spot. Dull grey eyes seemed to be zoned out. But he was subconsciously aware. The pirates were rising from the water. Some of them burned but most of them just angry. They were coming for the brothers. The brothers were trying to move their father when Mure moved passed them like a shadow. The night seemed to cloak him as he kicked up the spear. It seemed to cling to him. And then the buzzing started. It seemed like the shadow in front of the pirates was writhing for a moment. And then it happened. The shadow seemed to erupt into a dark cloud that cut off their vision. At first there was a cry of alarm as the swarm surrounded them and cut off their vision. A rallying cry started before it was cut short with a loud snap. Whoever had started to yell had their neck snapped. While they could not see anything Mure could see it from hundreds of eyes. The entire area was clear to him. Steadily he moved and shoved spear through one mans throat. Picking him up with the spear as leverage he threw him as he gurgled on his own blood into the other two. Knocking them down. Two dead. Two left. One was under the man he threw and couldn't escape in time. Mure descended on him and with a single punch drove carnivorous bugs into the mans eyes. Slowly the man died screaming as the bugs ate through his eyes into his brain. The last one made it to the water. But even as he began to swim the spear sailed through the air and slammed into his spine. Severing it and paralyzing him as he drowned helpless to save himself. With that Mure left. The screams from the shore were enough to drive the actual ship off. In a moment Mure and the swarm was gone. The dead pirates rested on the beach even as the final body washed onto the shore. Terror in all their eyes except the one with know eyes whos face was frozen in agony. Mure would awaken later with no memory of the event.
