Tadashi

Tadashi

D-rank
He needed to get out. After days of nothing but gambling, drinking, and constant chatter of the chuunin exams that he wasn't part of. The worst part of his visit to Taki was that he couldn't sleep. At all. He was finally sick of it. His main goal right now was to find somewhere quiet to sleep, and now. Depsite his exhaustion, Tadashi could be seen running through the streets, with the sun barely over the horizon. With the few pedestrian there were on the streets, Tadashi still managed to run into all of them, mumbling apologies as he went. It was clear that Tadashi was running towards the village gates, Mitsuru on his tail.

As soon as Tadashi ran through the gates, he quickly turned towards the forest. He had a very simple thought floating in his head, find some soft grass, then sleep. Just like that, after only minutes of searching, Tadashi found a field of tall grass. With no trees overhead, there was a clear view of the sky. Perfect. That would just make him sleep more soundly. With a tired grin on his face, Tadashi slowly took off his jacket, throwing it on the grass-covered ground. Tadashi would give a quick look around for Mitsuru before plopping down on the ground, he has no idea where that dog could've went. Eh, he'll come back eventually.

Just like that, Tadashi laid his back against the ground, slowly adjusting his jacket so it acted as a pillow. He also pulled down his headband over his eyes, to block out the rising sunlight. His eyelids quickly grew heavy, and with out any effort, he went into a deep sleep. And then the dreams started.

Akarui yawned as he walked through the forest outside Takigakure, wiping his brow. If there was one thing he disliked about the place, it was how wet it was. From the lake to the waterfall, even the air, water was everywhere. Thankfully for him at least, the chuunin exams weren't taking place in the far east this year, so at least Akarui wasn't freezing cold. He was at least able to wear his favorite yellow tank top even in such a foreign land. As he walked though the forest and grass, Akarui couldn't help but notice how alive everything was. The trees swayed in the wind, the birds were chirping, the squirrels were chasing each other up and down trees, even the grass itself seemed to be purposefully irritating his legs. He had even thought he saw a dog bounding through the woods, though Akarui chalked that up to his eyes playing tricks on him. Although he disliked the feeling of grass scratching against his legs and his inability to stay dry in this land, Akarui couldn't help but acknowledge how beautiful it was. Life was everywhere, and even the trees seemed to dance in the wind. It was like nothing he had ever seen. That is not to say that he thought Sunagakure was ugly or dead; the desert had a stoic beauty that Akarui identified with, and life was everywhere if you knew how to look for it. It was simply a different experience than he was used to, and his curiosity was getting the better of him.

With this desire to acknowledge the life of Takigakure and it's countryside in mind, Akarui set out through the forest in search of something to observe. Every once in a while he would stop and squat to look at something new. In particular there were some beautiful daffodils by a pond he stopped to see, as well as group of butterflies resting on a tree trunk. Really, this was quite the place. After some time, he came upon a small clearing of grass. It was nothing much but for the perfect view of the sky up above. A mildly interesting scene at best, but for the faint sound of breathing that seemed almost out of place. His interest piqued, Akarui waded through the grass out into the field, mildly annoyed at the scratching feeling that he seemed unable to escape in this place no matter the adventure. In the center of the field was a young boy dosing off, of all things. By his headband he seemed to be from Konoha.

Well this was a waste... Akarui thought, rolling his eyes in disbelief as he went to tap the kid's forehead protector which he seemed to be using as some kind of sleep mask. "Are you alright, boy? It doesn't seem like the safest thing to be off sleeping in the forest. You're bound to be eaten at this rate." Just my luck, having to take care of the kids without a care in the world.
