Two Hours Prior
Aimi used the key card to enter the hotel. The view was amazing; so pristine and vibrant. Truly this view could take any person’s breath away as it did hers. She smiled tiredly as she looked out the large glass windows of the two bedroom suite’s living room. The room she rented out was definitely nice and well worth the amount of money she paid for. It was very spacious and had a very artistic feel to it though with the rich colors and dark tones certainly did not make it seem so cold but rather quite warm and welcoming. Not exactly the type of warmth for family but also not the kind for couples. Rather it suited two teenagers, two friends, perfectly. Heck it seemed so nice one would just buy the damn thing and live here. There was no doubt that Aimi was going to rent out a suite at this hotel again. Heck if she ever decides to travel anywhere other than Takigakure she may very well stick with the company should they have branches farther out in the elemental shinobi nations. It was then she remembered the about the whole ordeal that this trip was or at least started out as. Damn she murmured under her breath.
With a sigh she flopped on the bed as the bellhop finished setting the few but heavy suitcases down. She was exhausted by the trip to Takigakure. When the location of where the chuunin exams were to be held was announced, she took this as an opportunity to finally get out of Konoha and take some down time. Heck she even dragged Mure along. How could she not? She saw him as one of the few people who she did not hate and she hated a lot of things; her father being one of them. Plus it would be nice to have him around and not stuck in the room all alone. Speaking of her father, he made this so much more complicated than it needed to be. She had already booked a hotel, packed her suitcases and grabbed Mure from the suite at the inn. Aimi was all prepped and ready to go. All she needed to do was to get a ride. She would've just ran the whole way but she wasn't used to travel....or maps....we can all see how that would end up. Luckily there was a stable at her clan's compound along with some carriages. However she didn't like the prissy feel of carriages so she figured the horses themselves and a merchant's wagon were going to be enough, but of course nothing was ever going to go so smoothly.
A few days ago during the night, her father caught her setting up her luggage on the wagon along with anything that didn't fit into the actual suitcases. Flabbergasted, he didn't understand why she was leaving. It wasn't time for her pilgrimage just yet. And the family didn't plan a vacation or anything since the disaster in Suna many years ago. He harshly grabbed onto her shoulders, interrogating her on where she was going. Actually he stopped himself mid-sentence that she wasn't going anywhere. Instead she was grounded for trying to run off. Aimi tried to defend herself but was too angry. She was furious. Who was he to yell at her like she was some goddamn ignorant child? She was her own person and a ninja. The moment she became an official leaf nin, she was no longer a child. No she was an adult and thus not to be babied. Something her parents never supported. Her family was very traditional and old fashioned. The men become politicians or businessmen. Few became shinobi, joining Konoha's military ranks, especially since not everyone was totally trusting of Konoha due to its history.
Aimi was actually the first female Kumori to become a shinobi or anything outside the clothing or art business they had. Soon enough the two Kumori's began a heated argument, one that awoken Mure who had been sleeping in a bundle of blankets and pillows in the back of the wagon. Her father recognized the Cursed Aburame and ordered the guards to kick him out of the grounds, blaming him for Aimi's actions. This pushed her over the edge but before she could retort a smoke bomb exploded. Aimi took this an opportunity to get going, hopping onto the wagon and getting the horses moving out of the compound, calling behind her that she would be back and to not worry. However as she did not she saw what appeared to be her little sisters grinning like a pair of foxes waving goodbye. It then she was proud to have them as her sisters.
Rubbing her eyes, she took off her contacts along with her sweater, replacing it with red sleeveless hoodie. She walked out downstairs pulling her hair tie off with her bandana, ruffling it so her loose pink hair was a bit messy. Mure was still down in the lobby waiting for her and she wanted to get a move on things.

"Here is your receipt and thank you for shopping here today. Please come again"
"Yea yea whatever" Aimi shrugged the cashier off and walked out of the store with Mure who was carrying several shopping bags where she carried a couple of her own. She had realized some time ago that Mure didn't have many clothes or accessories which were not surprising. He was homeless till she gave him her room for free use; the lack of any money of also evident. In the past two hours they visited as many stores they could. She bought him roughly: 30 shirts consisting of long sleeves and t-shirt, 20 pants including swim wear, 4 different gas masks since he seemed to like them, 5 sweaters, 6 jackets, 3 coats, some undergarments, and 8 pairs of shoes of various styles. For herself a couple of plushees from the festival shop which in her opinion was totally worth it. They were freaking adorable “Hey what else should we go and get? Or do you want to grab a bite to eat? Honestly I don’t care so pick away bro”
