Akira had taken his sweet time making his way to the festival. Regardless of the land it was being hosted in being on his door step. He wanted things done and he needed to set preparations in order for it. So he had been assembling strike teams that had opted not to go to the festival in favor of defending the mother land. And he had given them a great deal of targets to hit in what was left of the crumbling criminal underground within Iwagakure. A lot of blood had been spilled but the filth and crime that had taken over Iwagakure had finally been crushed over and over again until all that was left was the broken dust and fragments which were trying to hide from him. But Akira had a vast amount of information rolling in at his disposal. His network feeding his anti crime machine more and more. Even the people had begun to rise up and defend themselves. Joining in on taking down the less wanted criminals with citizens arrests. Akira had been careful on rewarding that behavior though. Only rewarding the ones that had preformed the arrest properly without too much force or collateral damage. The people were rising as a nation now. And so all was well.
So now he was sitting in a black carriage with gold colored frames and crystal knobs. The carriage drawn by a six horse team and two guards were posted on top the carriage armed with Kunai. The driver was armed with an axe and a very large man that looked like he could bench press the horses. Behind the carriage two men on horseback were riding with bows in hand and keen eyes. While in front of the carriage two men were riding with lances tucked into the saddle. Within the Carriage sat Akira. The lantern swaying ever so slightly as they raced along the road. A pair of reading glasses rested half way down his nose as he flipped through a book he was enjoying. He didn't look like a shinobi much less a Kage. On his feet he was wearing shined and polished black boots that led up to ironed out black slacks. The crease lines almost like they were brand new. A silver long sleeved button up shirt was tucked into those pants and it was held together by a black leather belt made from the hide of an anaconda. The Silver shirt itself appeared to be silk but something about the outfit seemed to glisten in the light. Over the shirt was a dark tie that was buttoned into the shirt itself. Held in place so that it didn't do as it wished when he moved. Lastly he was wearing a white suit vest with a black back. His long suit coat was hanging from the window for the time being. All the clothes glistened because despite the appearance the suit was made for him by a powerful crystal user. And the simple looking clothing could stop most weapons. Still his hand would rise up to stroke his forked chin hair as they neared the festival. His yellow eyes seeming to shine out of the dark as the carriage pulled up.
The thundering hooves of the carriage was plenty to draw the attention of someone arriving. People began to whisper as to who it might be. Who would arrive in such a manner? Most people had come by ship or just walked there. Only merchants used wagons or so it seemed. Who arrived via carriage with so many guards? It was a midst the whispering that the massive driver hopped down. A huff from him as he looked over crowd before his massive hand pulled open the carriage door. And then he bowed his head. Akira checked his dagger on the small of his back before slipping into his armored suit coat and casually he stepped out. His boots touching the ground as all his guards bowed their heads. The two on top hopping down as well as the two mounted men from behind. Leading their horses up to the lancers and handing the reigns over. Before the four joined Akira and they began to walk. The carriage driver and the two lancers on the other hand took all the horses and the carriage to find some where with a stable. Or the equivalent of. It didn't take long for someone to recognize Akira though. He was infamous and famous for several things after all. Some called him the crazed butcher of criminals. Some called him the saint of Iwa. But all knew him for his power. However even with his guards giving him space his very presence seemed to keep people just looking and not approaching. Still he let his long legs carry him into the market. In search of a specific vendor. He might as well enjoy himself before the next part of the exams. Since he had missed the first part.
