What would have usually been a strange sight was right at home in the middle of the festival grounds of Takigakure. For once it wasn't weird to see a fourteen year old girl carrying a rabbit plushie in her arms like it was the most precious thing in the world - children, adults, even seniors could be seen strolling through the busy streets with arms full of plushies and prizes, won from games or purchased from shops. Not that it provided much relief to the kunoichi who so often enjoyed the attention that she received. For once, she blended in, and she was beginning to think that it wasn't too much fun to be part of the crowd, as opposed to being the center of one. Even her flowing white dress somewhat fit into her surroundings - those not wearing shinobi gear were mostly all dressed up. But she had to admit, the busy stalls of games and foods were fun and lively.
She herself had visited the main festival store located in the heart of the marketplace earlier, where a few shoves and wiggles got her to the front of the line to the source of the adorable Chuunin Exam contestant plushies. Although having no knowledge whatsoever of who those people were, the desire to possess the entire set of dolls overcame what little willpower she had in the first place to save money. The interest she had in the dolls probably faded the moment she stepped out of the store, but it didn't matter as she handed over the ryo, satisfaction radiating off her little being as she walked off with a bag full of thirteen plush dolls. Hauling the bag of plush dolls was no easy feat. While the weight wasn't an issue, the sheer size of the bag was enough to overcome her. Thankfully, the first inn she stopped by had a small vacant room, and after dumping everything but her rabbit plushie down, she had set off once again, following the large moving crowds towards the festival grounds.
"Onee-chan, look, look! Goldfish!" A soft squeal escaped her as she knelt down beside the small inflatable pool, surprising two younger children who were in the process of trying to catch some of the tiny goldfish swimming in the water. Lilac-colored eyes followed the swimming creatures and suddenly, without warning, she reached out to poke one of them, finger darting out fast enough to make contact with the poor fish.
"Hey! You can't do that! If you want to play, you have to pay up!"
Whoops. Time to go. Even if she lacked the social skills to keep out of trouble, she wasn't all too keen on ending her exploration of the festival grounds by starting a fight over some goldfish. Waving her hand dismissively at the shopkeeper, she proceeded to skip away, rabbit plushie dangling by an arm. Time to explore whatever else there was around. Perhaps watch a performance or two?
