Unaware of the current status of available captains and activity within the Leaf I will have to postpone the requests for a small time.

Umm...hokage..do we have to wait until a leader comes up before we can be placed on a team??....I can vividly remember a saying..."When the student is ready, the teacher will come".. Why don't you place us on team first and team leader later. Am getting bored.
