Iwagakure's own Yuurei Jet had nothing interesting of the sort going on. Simply taking on missions and what not. Things have been quite lately. Yes there was the ever ongoing gossip among housemaids but those were just incredibly ridiculous bits of nonsense. A husband cheating on his wife with her sister. A mother selling her children away for lumps sums of cash. A doctor accused of working on the black market. The occasional death or defection of a shinobi. Or a civilian trying to start an uprising which was stupid of him, plus he got put down immediately which was a bore. You know, the usual. Nothing out of the ordinary. It was killing our little beast. She lived on chaos. The only fun thing she did lately was scaring a few naïve academy children for life and punishing a obese turd of a tavern owner when she was high. Looking out the window of her house, she watched as the window blew out her candle lit skulls, leaving wisps of smoke. And then it happened. The sudden chills down her spine, which gave a feeling as if a storm was coming to ravage all of Iwagakure, no all of Tsuchi no Kuni. Something isn't right. Although the feeling didn't matched the ones she had gotten from the circus but it was similar. Sinister even. Maybe it was her nerves acting up from the bit of morphine she injected into herself earlier but not once had she ever had a bad reaction to it. Jet knew she should out and find the source of this, to see what gave off such a vibe. And the only way she could do so was to go to one of the meets up in the shadier parts of the village and find out was venom has been dripping down the grapevine Grabbing her signature jacket and goggles, she hopped out the window and was on her way.
In Iwagakure, it wasn't hard to go out unnoticed. Sure the Tsuchikage was breathing down everyone's neck, having struck fear into the hearts of many of the underworld dwellers that resided in the village but not even he was all seeing. Chaos still wandered around, taking what it wants as it prey everyday and every night. It wasn't something you could snuff out. Of course it is not as strong or open as it once been, but it was still there. It never left. Like cancer it would spread then sleep until one day it will break out radically. Perhaps that day when Iwagakure burns would come but for now, it was healing and many sought to protect that security, their safety, so they wont fall into the abyss. Once you step out of the light and go into the other side you never go back. Like chains your past will forever follow you so long as you roam this earth. Reddish green eyes glowed in a narrow shadowed alley across town. A young genin glanced around in the worn down industrial like neighborhood, looking for a certain gang sign. But there were so many. Jet face palmed and sighed at this. All these ignorant groups of wannabe gangsters though they held power; that they were oh so big and bad. Idiotic pawns were all that they really were. They were manipulated without their knowledge; to be scapegoats for the big guys to keep the authorities happy as if they were doing something right. Jet chuckled, smiling a bit. It was kind funny. Everyone had skeletons in their closet. A puppeteer being their actions one way or the other regardless of how insignificant their move could be, like marionettes. Freedom was an illusion. The only thing that one could do is simply play and be played but to what ending, to what degree........ah well it wasn't important.
Ah, we found it. Seems like they changed locations again not that is a problem really. Jet stood in front of a 6 feet tall bunker door with no handle, just a slot in the place of where the peep hole. Jet swung her right leg at it, kicking it loudly repeatedly till the slot was opened, pupiless black eyes glaring "Will you calm the fuck down you stupid bitch!" Jet simply smiled at him, holding her hands behind her back, batting her eyes as she spoke "Jet has business here. We want you to open up please~" Those glares were taken aback, trying to find out what was her deal but suddenly their owner broke out into laughter as if this was a joke. The door opened with a man blocking it. He was definitely heavy weight, have assorted scars and a dragon tattoo spiraling around his arm to his head. Short black buzzed cut hair and dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. His voice boomed as his body shook, amused by the situation. "Pfft ahahahaha. Look here freak, this ain't no place for you. What are you? Ten or something? Go back home and sip your mother's mi-" He was caught off short as a kunai impaled his left eyes, blood spurting eye and no doubt killing him. With a thud he fell back to the floor, already a crimson liquid pool around him. Jet took her bloodied kunai back, wiping it on her sleeve and pocketed the weapon, stepping over him "Our mommy is dead baka" then with those words she disappeared into the shadows heading underground.
Jet read over the note once more as she walked around with a skip in her step and a smile. Apparently a group of konoha nin were seen leaving Hi no Kuni and entered Iwagakure territory. What's more, somewhere down the grapevine, it is rumored they are here on a diplomatic mission, wanting an audience with the Tsuchikage Akira for unknown reasons. A giggled escaped her lips, this seemed like an important matter. Perhaps she would go meet with one of them, and give them one heck of a welcoming. However a frown replaced the happiness. She knew that these people or at least one of them was the one to cause a disturbance in the air. Ignoring it, her curiosity surpassed what miniscule better judgment locked away in her. So she followed the directions and came up upon one of them....or at least she believed so. The information though useful was the clearest on certain details. Shrugging it off since she already confirmed her target, Jet took out the same kunai she had earlier and cut a rope. This rope was holding about 20 or so wine filled barrels that were propped up on each other however now they were set loose on the streets, panic in the air as civilians ran. Grinning she watched with curious eyes to see what this leaf nin would do with her little welcoming surprise gift.
