Protection: The Sunagakure Flak Jackets are designed to be resistant to harsh winds; it is aligned with the Wind element to help this. The area covered by the Suna flak jacket receives 1/2 inch less in cuts and slightly less bruising caused by a Fuuton technique. However,the jacket receives a major damage boost if hit with any Katon technique. For example,if the jutsu does only minor first degree burns,the area covered by armor will receive Major first degree burns. Otherwise, this armor can block all basic attacks (kunai, swords, punches) and make them negligible if they are E-rank. Basic attacks of B-rank or below do 1 rank less in damage, and such strikes of A-rank do 50% of a rank less in damage. Any strikes of S-rank or higher bypass the armor entirely.
Ability/Function: This vest allows the agents of Sunagakure to store scrolls and trinkets, as well as providing improved defensive properties as mentioned above. This vest has six scroll shaped pouches; three on either side of the breast. This vest can only be purchased by Shinobi from Sunagakure. These Shinobi must be at least Chuunin rank.

History: With the foundation of Sunagakure, their warriors found themselves in need of a lighter set of protective gear. The larger, bulky shinobi combat armour was ineffficient for the world's new climate. As such, they developed this unique looking Flak Jacket, which has become an infamous sign of their Shinobi.
