D-rank
"Ahaha, Konohogakure's vraiment passionnant ~" Nick spoke as his eyes looked into the sky, eyeing the glowing moon. The scent of apples had faded away since he entered the village. The male was sitting on the edge of a mountain in the village. Said mountain had a few faces of people in them. Nick wondered who they were, and why the village of Konohagakure had faces of people carved into mountains. He saw it as a strategical weakness, for you know, war times. He grinned slightly and stood up. Nick reached into his pocket and found his pocket watch in his breast pocket, looking at it he would wonder what time it was. Since the birds had started to tweet and the darkness seemed to fade away. It was five thirty AM. Nick put his pocket watch back into his breast pocket and mildly yawned into his hand. Maybe he should nap somewhere and do some exciting activities tomorrow. Since after all, the weather in this village wasn't an obstacle; like in Sunagakure. Swimming sounded lovely, but so did causing a massive ruckus. Maybe he ought to cause the ruckus now, and swim tomorrow? Sounded solid, he thought. But how would he cause a ruckus? He had noticed by long that someone was watching him. Could he do it without being caught? Probably not. Nick groaned mildly. Wondering who was following him. Maybe it was someone who wanted to end his life, or it was some security guard from this village. He didn't know where he was, but Nick had an odd sense. Some may call it instinct; it's basically feeling being watched. He had a good idea where the general direction was of the person following him, but he couldn't say for sure. He ignored it for now. "Peut-être que je n'ai miel sur mes fesses. ~" Nick said, snickering mildly. He stood up and stretched his back a little. He adjusted his black leather coat and bent down, with one knee onto the rocks of the mountain. He noticed that his shoe laces were a little loose. Nick straightened up and tightened them a little. He did with the same with the other leather boot. After adjusting his shoe laces the male would stand up, rubbing his neck with his hand. Nick would then start to get off of the mountain, it was quite large. He went around town for a few hours, trying to find open convenience stores or taverns. Everything, unfortunately, was closed. Nick groaned once again. Did this village have night curfew? Nick then decided to sleep in a tree. It sure sounded something that a rich individual like him wouldn't do. But since he had no choice, he went up the closest tree he saw. It was a little away from the general population. He climbed it and ended up laying on a very thick branch. The tree in itself was quite enormous. He closed his eyes and put his backpack below his head. After he closed his eyes he pretended to be asleep. Knowing that the person who was stalking him was still around. Wondering how long the person stalking him would think on deciding on whether or not to strike. Nick pretended to be asleep for an hour. The stalker finally decided to move in, with extreme caution. A slight smile appeared on Nicks face, knowing the boiling point of the stalker was coming closer. He could hear footsteps from a little distance, the stalker was about ten meters away from Nick. In another tree. He was thinking about what was in his arsenal that would be perfect to use. He then knew what to use. He rolled over slightly, still pretending to be asleep. This made his stalker waver and made him think some more. All of this was Nicks psychological warfare to stall some time. He was kneading chakra in his mouth and exhaling it slowly, not rapidly like his jutsu initially intended to be used but slowly so it wouldn't seem suspicious. The gaseous substance was getting closer to the tree with the stalker in it by a slow speed. But it was getting there. The stalker didn't notice the smelly substance since he tunneled his entire focus on his vision. Nick pretended to bring up his hand to his face to yawn but instead he made a slight spark. An explosion was immediately followed, the stalker was fried by Nicks fire immediately, since he was completely covered by it. Nick opened his eyes to identify his stalker. It was a bird. Nick groaned, maybe it was his paranoia? "C’est des conneries" It was then seven AM when Nick decided to go back to the village, he seemed well rested, which was quite odd since he didn't sleep much. |
