In an attempt to show is friendly and honest motives to his host village he was determined to show his worth and pull his weight around the town. So it was natural that he start picking up jobs to help out both his own reputation and his wallet. Today's assigned job was to stop a rampaging boar from destroying more crops in the outlying farms. The people at the business building seemed actually pretty nice to him, saying it would be a breeze with is giant muscles. Not wanting to toot his own horn as it was, he simply thanked them for the job and left; his muscles were really big, and it showed in his strength. And to make it even better not once did he get the urge to smash their skull together into jello!
Walking out of the down town region was not so pleasant of an experience as talking with the desk girls. Only moments out of the door did his inner beast rear it's head and begin to rattle the walls of his self control. To make matters worse the looks he got walking down the street were far from pleasant ones. He wasn't sure if it was because his inside rattling showed on his outside, his perceptions were being screwed, or the people in this town were just having a particularly bad day, but what ever it was he didn't like it.
It didn't seem like it was soon enough, but he finally reached the farm in the path of where the board had been last seen heading. Being outside the village boundary again did wonders, for already there was less people to aggravate his inner demons, and the nice fresh air revitalized him; he was able to easily and quickly regain complete control of himself.
Adjusting himself as he double check all of his supplies it dawned on him that what he was carrying was probably the cause of the village people's problem. Not only did he have several projectiles on his person, a kunai and some throwing stars, but he wore a demon mask on his tattered shirt and lacked an obvious stone ninja headband. Such a large man as he with a demon mask, and no reassuring headband probably didn't bode well in their minds. People in these parts had such a particular sense of what was ok to wear and what wasn't ok, it was only a mask after all.
With his meager gear ready at a moment's notice he began to look outward properly. The weather was pleasantly sunny with only a mild bit of wind; checking once again himself to make sure some animal wasn't using him as a sunbathing bed he went back to looked after confirming that he was in fact not carrying any passengers today. A small out cropping of trees lay near the farm with the distance between him, it, and the house all being just simple dirt and few small rocks scattered about. Luckily the farmer and any helpers seemed to absent today, along with the expected boar, for now. Taking a deep breath in through his noes, he felt the energies of the surrounding fields calmly flowing through the natural lay of the land. What a good day to be active.
