Nick cracked his knuckles. Today he taking another mission. One that was more fun than the usual shebang, this one involved a survival type-esque with a few academy students. He saw the poster of the mission at the kage's office and knew he would be the right candidtate for it. And here he was, standing in front of 3 academy students from the Sunagakure. All E ranks whilst Nick was a C rank, which was not too bad, he thought. He smiled and waved towards the children, he was at least ten years older then each academy student. They didn't like him a lot, maybe because he had an evil vibe about him or just was a little infamous in Sunagakure? Probably a case of both when he thought about it. Nick pressed his hand against his face as he was in some thoughts. How would he teach these kids exactly?

Nick groaned, they were rowdy, they were young. There were three children. Aoko, Mikhael, and someone who's name was a verb, Slamming. But it was inspiring to see young children behave. Two were pulling each others hair whilst the girl was picking scorpions from the ground. Nick smiled. "Well, em, follow me kids!" He said as he aimlessly wandered into the village. He knew where he had to be, well, what his objectives were. He needed to be out in the desert for two full days. Each student given appropriate amount of food and water. It was quite a fun trip, Nick thought. This way he could be a little more practical then most people were. It was about eight in the morning, he decided that it was a good idea to find shelter, thus the children complied. His best idea was digging into the ground, and making a in-grounds shelter.

Nick's plan was to heat up the sides so it wouldn't collapse on them, quite genius. He made a shovel from the equipment that he had and begun to dig into the ground, the three academy stooches joining him in digging into the ground so that they could sleep at night. It was very good, with the cave being built in meant that the heat was being contained as well. Nick smiled, science solved this one for him easily. After he figured this out he would be digging the majority of the day. He sent the children out to hunt some food. After he was done he got into the cave, he warmed up his hands and began heating up the top part and the side of the cave. It was perfectly safe after he pretty much used more then half of his chakra. He was happy that he had done it.

After the shelter was done the children set in. The in cave was about two meters deep. Unfortunately, Nick was too tall. So he slept outside, but he didn't mind. There were many nights of his made up of him sleeping outside. The coldth didn't do much to him anymore. After their shelter was done Nick started to make a fire. He began warming up wooden sticks. After a while, he realized he might as well use fire to light it up. He pushed his fingertips against the wood as a fire was created in the middle.He skinned the animal that the academy students managed to catch and then ripped the bones off. After doing that he stuck a stick right through his ass and out of its mouth. He then created a fireplace. Roasted bunny was quite nice. too bad he didn't have seasoning with him.

After a little while he shared the roasted spit-fire rabbit with the academy genin. It was nice, he enjoyed the taste of it. After his stomach was full he would yawn and lay next to the opening of the cave. The academy students fell asleep quite quickly. Nick didn't. Falling asleep was rather difficult in the stonecold desert. But then again, he wanted to make sure that Hyena's didn't enter their cave. After sleeping he would get up early in the morning. Nick was making a sand castle like the child he was. After the academy students stood up the male would form a group again and headed back. They were quite far away so traveling would take a few dozen hours.

Nick smiled a little as they arrived in the village. The kage seemed to be satisfied with the results. Or so he would think, he didn't really ask, not that he was paid to care anyway. After he was done with the mission he headed home and ordered a pizza from the pizza place. He was in the mood for pizza. Pizza was good, he thought. After ordering some pizza he crashed onto his couch and looked at the ceiling. Maybe he'd do one more D ranked mission tomorrow and retire from the Sunagakure life. That certainly would be excellent. Life in sunagakure was quite boring. Nick would order some chicken wings. Chicken wings were nice. Especially fried ones.

After eating his chicken wings he yawned a little and then drank some beer in his fridge. And then some more beer, and more, and more and more and more. Until he was drunk. He was laying on his couch like a couch potato, drinking his beer whilst watching tv. It was crappy but it was something, he thought. He fell asleep watching the teli. He woke up at four am. Wasn't that just great? Nick sighed a little and cleaned up. He was a little raspy, wanting to go out and do something, but it was way too late for that. Thus Nick decided to drunkenly head into his bed and fall asleep. There weren't many dreams he had, unfortunately. Considering that he was quite drunk, it would be difficult to get dreamy during the night. Except if you wanted to get like headaches and throw up every second. Which was something Nick wanted to avoid at all costs.
