Description: Daraku undergoes many aesthetic changes upon entering Sage Mode. His hair reverts to its natural blonde shade, with black patterns along the sides and a black stripe down the center. His eyes transform into compound-eyes which can change color at will, ranging anywhere from black to gold. He gains two small antennae, one on each side of his forehead. Finally, he wears a unique haori with a black exterior that extends to his lower legs; the interior has a brilliant gold color and black patterns resembling those on a moth's hindwings. On the back of the Haori, near the neck, is a small, yellow skull, representing Daraku's connection to the Death's-head Hawkmoth.

Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to--battle, intelligence gathering, diversions--this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons. This gives this technique an abundance of uses. The transformation of a skilled shinobi will be visually and physically the same as the original, so it will be impossible to tell the two apart. On the other hand, a transformation performed by an inexperienced person will have obvious discrepancies. It will be impossible to deceive anyone with it. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. This jutsu is purely appearance-based, and does not give a ninja the abilities or jutsu of a person they transform into. Dojutsu can easily pick out this technique, and if the user has transformed into someone larger than themselves, the bits beyond their natural body will have no heat signature. This, and the fact that the chakra of the user wouldn't look normal makes it easier for sensing techniques to pick out transformed people. Costs 5 chakra on activation, and an additional 5 chakra every 2 posts.

When any object passes through the clone, be it a fist, a rock or a blade, the clone will evaporate. It's mainly used to help mask the user, helping them attack an opponent who is superior at dodging. The clones do not disturb the area around them, don't have shadows or body heat, and as such experienced ninja can easily pick them out. Costs 5 chakra to create clones.

Description: Substitution Technique is an age old skill which enables the user to move at speeds beyond readable perception for a fraction of a moment. Switching with a solid item previously mentioned in the thread in place of themselves, the ninja leaves behind a flickering after-image for a second, which, if damaged releases the chakra which holds it in place in a small smoke cloud, revealing the nature of the technique and the item they have switched with. Though a skilled user's after image for a moment of its flickering lifespan is able to show some of the signs of natural impact as if it were solid, before 'poofing'. The user coming out of the technique creates a similar audio and visual cue with a small cloud of translucent smoke and a 'poofing' sound on appearance. Though as they move at such high speeds it is impossible to co-ordinate a physical attack in any form. Ninja using substitute therefore, while being able to manoeuvre close to an opponent, are unable to set up or follow through with any pre-prepared strike at high speed. (Though it can be used to appear, 'and then' launch an attack, a ninja cannot appear 'in mid strike' as it is impossible to coordinate on such a scale at those speeds.)

The drawback, however, is that maintaining this style will require full concentration on his swordplay and thus Daraku can only use Bukijutsu and Slaughter Stance techniques and he cannot use jutsu that require hand seals, nor can he use his kekkei genkai, until he returns to his normal fighting stance. Description: The user manipulates the Ishido's phasing ability to put an object into an ethereal, shadowy state for 2 posts. While in this state, the object loses all physical corporeality and as such cannot be touched by anyone other than the user; it will freely pass through other objects, people, and walls with no damage to either the object or the target being passed through. The user may release the jutsu in order to revert the object into a solid state again regardless of distance between them; for example, if the user were to throw a kunai under this effect, let it pass through a wall, and end the jutsu, the kunai would return it to normal, allowing it to deal damage. Description: The user must raises their hand to their mouth, giving them the appearance of playing a trumpet, as they spew a jet of water from their mouth with power equivalent to an industrial fire hose. The jet can be targeted at an opponent to disorient them for a moment and deal minor bruises, but its primary use is to combat other jutsu. By aiming the jet of water at a Katon technique of C-Rank or lower, any incoming offensive jutsu of D-Rank, or E-Rank projectiles, they may easily nullify the attack by putting out its flames or knocking it off-course; the jet of water will also be nullified in the process, limiting this to defending against one jutsu per use. Description: Daraku uses Suiton chakra to manipulate and increase his body's hydration drastically, creating up to 6 additional gallons of water throughout himself in less than half a second, with no hand seals required. Using the additional moisture provided by this as a basis for the jutsu, he immediately expels the water from his pores and shapes it into a humanoid form that remains connected to him and helps in battle. This form typically consists of a torso, a head without a face, and one arm, although Daraku may also manifest only an arm at a time rather than the entire form. So long as Daraku maintains the moisture in his body, he is able to freely dispel and recreate the water at will. He can manipulate the water quickly and smoothly, so he often uses it to counterattack from unusual angles or defend his weak spots during close combat, as it is capable of wielding any of his swords with its single arm. Most basic attacks and jutsu that make direct contact with the water will still have full effect on Daraku, as they just pass through it with no effect. The exception is Katon jutsu; the water can defend Daraku from one B-Rank Katon jutsu, or 2 C-Rank Katon jutsu before this jutsu ends. D-Rank Katon jutsu will have no effect.- Restrictions:

Description: The user raises their weapon overhead and spins it quickly for a few seconds, kicking up a large vortex of wind around them. This vortex stays in place for a while after the weapon stops spinning, working as both an offensive mechanism and a barrier of sorts, capable of blocking E-Rank projectiles and various jutsu. Opponents within a meter of the user will be caught by the vortex and will suffer inch-deep cuts at the point(s) of contact before being thrown back about five meters by it. The vortex can only be destroyed by one jutsu of B-Rank, two jutsu of C-Rank, or three of D-Rank. A-Rank and higher techniques will be unaffected and will also destroy the cyclone as they pass through, and Katon techniques are increased in power by one rank when they come into contact with this jutsu (meaning that one C-Rank Katon jutsu will destroy it, as it is considered B-Rank after calculation). Once activated, the user cannot move until this jutsu ends; they are free to use other jutsu while it is active, however.

Description: The Water Clone Jutsu is similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original person's chakra. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water. Water clones are capable of only using suiton jutsu provided they have enough chakra to cast it. A maximum of six clones may be created at any one time. The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause a noteworthy level of physical damage [second/third degree burns, broken bones, stab wounds, etc] or a C-rank/2 D-Rank offensive jutsu.

Description: The user inhales deeply, flooding their throat and mouth with chakra. They then expel this chakra in the form of multiple tiny spheres of fire, roughly twenty in total. These spheres all travel at roughly the speed of 20 m/s, and are all about 23 centimeters in diameter (~ 9 inches). On impact, the area the ball hits will be given first degree burns, with the center of the impact having second degree burns. These spheres can have projectiles hidden inside them for an added punch. As the flames heat the projectiles, they hit with more force than they normally would, cutting through the muscle fibers easier. While this is a C-Rank technique, it produces many small spheres which each function as D rank moves in terms of blocking or countering.

The barrier will endure 3 C-Rank jutsu/2 B-Rank jutsu/1 A-Rank or higher jutsu before dissipating, and anyone who comes in contact with the barrier will be engulfed in violet flames, suffering painful 2nd degree burns on the point(s) of contact which worsen to 3rd degree burns if contact is prolonged for more than one post. Katon techniques will be considered one rank lower in against the barrier, although Suiton techniques will be considered one rank higher against it. The barrier, once created, cannot be moved and will remain stationary on the same surface it was formed upon. Description: Daraku's variant of the Water Dragon Bullet, this jutsu shapes a large amount of water and volatile wind into a dragon that slams into his opponent. This dragon is much slimmer and faster than the dragon used in the original Water Dragon Bullet Technique. Its speed and form are both altered, as it moves at around 30 m/s, and has a diameter of 3 meters. While it moves, it spins violently as a direct result of the added Fūton chakra. Upon impact, its force is enough to fracture bones around the point(s) of direct contact and cause bruising surrounding those areas, and its spinning motion shreds around 2.5 inches into the flesh, resulting in moderate bleeding. The ideal place to use it is near a body of water, but it is possible to use it even in a place where there is none. The dragon's movement can be freely controlled by the user with additional hand seals, allowing it to seek out opponents within its range.

Each post this move is maintained, it will heal four inches of torn, shredded or severed muscle tissue, broken bones, and all burns of the 4th degree and lower within the area affected. Fatal damage dealt to major organs will take three full posts to heal completely. This cannot regenerate severed limbs or removed organs. Cooldown begins once the technique is deactivated.

Description: Daraku creates an Ox hand seal and holds it in place as he releases a burst of crimson-colored chakra from within himself. The chakra spreads outward in a dome-shape around him moving at nearly 45 meters per second, spreading a total of 25 meters before it fades away; anyone caught by the chakra during this time will be affected. Targets will begin to undergo changes in their brain, as the jutsu changes the chemical balance of it. Their brain will be unable to produce Serotonin, will have an overdrive of corticosteroids, and will receive non-lethal damage to its prefrontal cortex. The combination of these effects creates a trance-like state of unstoppable rage, and the target(s) will be unable to differentiate friend from foe, attacking the people physically closest to them in a violent frenzy. Usually, this continues for two posts; however, targets with the Short Fuse special characteristic stay in this state for four posts rather than two. Once these two posts are over, their nervous system and bloodstream regain proper functioning and their prefrontal cortex recovers which reverses their rage.They will suffer one tier decrease in reaction time for the following post, however, as their body readjusts.

Description: One post preparation is optional, but the user will be unable to move during the preparation. By reading their opponent's body movements and gauging the potential power behind an attack, the user anticipates where an attack will strike and pre-emptively applies medical treatment to the area. The chakra channeled to the area in question stimulates and hastens the cell recreation process even before the attack strikes, essentially over-healing the area and in turn reducing the damage that would have been taken by one rank (two ranks, if the user prepared for one full post prior to the attack). This technique is useful in the fact that the user can use it to persevere through an attack that otherwise might have incapacitated them, surprising the opponent and leaving them open to counterattack. Any leftover wound suffered, in addition, will heal slowly over the course of the following three posts.

Description: Daraku lifts his weapon and infuses it with Fūton chakra. He charges ahead after a target, releasing the chakra in quick bursts as he moves. During this time, a resulting wind vacuums created from the chakra make his movements appear to be quite rapid. They will seem blurred to those around him, making any actions using his weapon much more difficult to track and/or dodge as effectively. The opponent's reaction time will thus be one tier lower when reacting to weapon strikes under the influence of this jutsu. The vacuums fade after two posts, ending the jutsu.

Description: The user forms a Tiger hand seal and releases the limits put on their chakra system, before focusing all of their chakra and energy on speeding the division of new cells in their body. Using this method, they can completely regenerate any wounds on their body in a short period of time. The only injuries that can't be healed this way are severed limbs/appendages and removed organs. The user cannot move or use any other jutsu while this is active, and it requires one full post to heal the body completely. Jutsu that were already active are not cancelled, however, and will continue unhindered. Due to the large need for chakra in this technique, it costs 50 chakra to activate. Another important note is that users of this technique are accelerating their aging process because the human body's cells may only divide a set number of times before death; each use of this technique irreversibly shortens natural lifespan by one year.

Description: Daraku must be in Slaughter Stance to use this. He expends a large sum of chakra to further increase his adrenaline to extreme levels. As a result, his body fills with energy and he will be forced out of any paralysis or speed debuffs put on him. He then uses the energy to attack with his weapons at violent speeds, capable of executing up to eight powerful strikes in the time it takes to do one, normally. He continues this barrage to anyone within his immediate vicinity, but he can still move around the battlefield in order to combat multiple enemies or follow a single target. The strain on Daraku, between the adrenaline and the exertion, leaves him with pain, moderate bruising and severe muscle damage after Immaculate Onslaught finishes which will result in loss of consciousness if not treated within 4 posts. If Slaughter Stance ends at any point during this jutsu, this jutsu ends as well.
