Clan History: The Seikitai are amongst the survivors of Hoshigakure, along with the Kyouga and the Iki. Like the Iki, thier closest kin, the Seikitai's genetics were affected by the usage of the Star chakra. But the result was different thn the Iki. Instead of the pure white light the Iki manifest, the Seitakai's chakra turned darker, seeming to resemble shadows. In the clan's earlier years, they refered to themselves as 'The Shadow of God."

The Seitikai consider themselves 'the family protectors'. They are loyal to no one but the survivors of Hoshi; anyone else, and they consider themselves impassive observers. While not of the Iki and Kyouga, they freely interbreed with the two, in an attempt to keep all three clan lines strong.  Where as the Iki are pacifists, the Seikitai consider themselves to be warrior monks. They fight only for their own cause.

Where as the Kyouga decided to remain in Iwagakure, the Seitikai followed the Iki clan wherever they went, eventually settling in Kumo. It was here they laid down roots, settling for the longest time until the recent destruction of Kiri. When the Iki family's compound was destroyed, the Seikitai ventured into the ruins, retrieving all the survivors of the Iki and took them to Kumogakure and Konohagakure...

Kekkei Genkai Description: The method of Kami no Kage is very simple; it essentaily a genetic mutuation resulting from exposure to the Star Chakra. Where as the ancestors of the Iki and Kyouga were only moderately exposed to the chakra, the Seikitai ancestors were exposed to greater doses.  The end result was that their chakra turned dark, alomost black.

The Seikitai are warrior monks, hellbent on increasing thier taijutsu prowess by any means necessary. The clan trains rigourously in all forms of Taijutsu, and pride themselves on formulating new, more effective forms. Combining this with an impressive mastery of Chakra Flow, the ninja of this clan are considered to be lethal weapons from a young age.

Members of this clan recive a +2 rank to thier taijutsu usage.

As a result of thier intense fixation on strengthening thier Yang chakra, the Seikitai gained the passive ability to detect the life-force of living creatures around them to an extent. By focusing thier mind and channeling thier chakra for a moment, the user sends out a 'pulse', with the intention of detecting if anyone is around. The pulse cannot determine the exact location of the opponent, but it can determine certain valuable information; the general direction of the chakra, the power of thier life force (rough estimate of their chakra supply), and a rough estimate of thier distance away. This ability is completely negated by use of a cloaking technique. (Max range of 10 meters, only to be used twice per thread with a cooldown of seven posts.)

Drawbacks: Due to the clan's belief of physical training, the members of the clan are not allowed to practice certain fighting styles; the chief being Genjutsu. The Seikitai believe that they have particularly powerful Yang chakra; they believe that the practice of Genjutsu would 'dirty' it. As a result of them wanting little to nothing to do with genjutsu, they have also developed a weakness to Genjutsu (-2).

In addition, the clan is not allowed to practice Medical jutsu. Once more, they believe that thier own Yang chakra serves them better than medical jutsu, because Yang chakra is believed to govern one's vitality. Healing techniques recieve a -1 to thier power when performed upon a member of this clan (This stacks with the clan's madatory Pharmacophobia, giveing them a -2)


Bukijutsu, while allowed, is frowned upon by the clan.  The clan also prohibits the usage of Kyuujutsu, due to the clan's belief of only participating in close-range combat.

The clan is also unable to learn a third or fourth element, due to the corruption that the Star Chakra has done to thier genes.

Description: Aura Sphere is very simple, and very efficient in execution. It is essentually a ball of charged chakra that is used to attack the opponent. The ball is formed by cupping two hands together at the users side, and manifesting chakra. The ball is formed by channeling chakra through the arms and into the hands. The hands must be in he shape of a bowl with the fingers opened into claws. As the chakra is released from the palms, the fingers channel minute bits of chakra inside the sphere, causing it form a core and stablize. One the core is formed, the sphere gains 'gravity' causing any more chakra that is released to be pulled closer to and give it shape as well as density. The larger the core of the sphere, the more chakra it can hold onto; thus the relation between size and jutsu power. it will retain its shape until an outside force disrupts it.

D-rank: The sphere is small, roughly the size of a softball. Because of its small size, the lacks power to be truely damaging. It is mainly used for as a quick counter-attack and to knock an opponent back (roughly 5 meters). On contact with an opponent, the sphere destablizes, exploding outward with the force of an explosive tag. The range of the explosion is five feet, but the blast is is pointed towards to the opponent. The optimal target at this rank is the chest/stomach, as a direct hit will cause light bruising. At this ranking, the sphere MUST be formed with two hands, unless the user is C rank themselves (Chuunin), but can be weilded with one once its formed.

C-rank: The sphere is larger, about the size of a Volleyball.  At this rank, the sphere has a more power, able to knock a grown man off thier feet when the attack connects. The explosion of chakra from this rank is equivalent to that of three explosive tags placed in close proximity. At this rank, the optimal target is the chest/stomach once again. Given that the more chakra is used to create the sphere, it is denser and heavier. An attack on an unprotected chest will destroy clothing under the aflicted area, as well as causing heavy bruising, with a moderate change of damageing internal organs if connected with the soft tissue of of the stomach; bones may crack under this pressure, but not break. At this rank, the sphere must still be formed with two hands, unless the user is B rank themselves (Spec. Jounin), but can be weiled with one hand once fully formed. At this rank, the sphere is able to be launched, but will only travel five meters before exploding.

B-rank:The sphere even larger now, about the side of a large beach ball. At this stage, the technique is considered 'complete'. The sphere is rather heavy, given the density of the chakra it contains. Upon impact, it will explode outward in a concussive force with power equal to that of five explosion tags. If on direct contact with a target, any armor on the attacked area of equal rank or lower, will be heavily damaged. The force of this sphere is enough to smash its way through steel with moderate difficulty. Unprotected flesh will be rendered FUBAR-- Heavily bruised and distorted, but the true power of the attack is what happens internally. The sphere will break bones that it comes into contact with unless they are chakra enhanced; Internal organs can and will be damaged severely if the sphere comes into contact with soft tissue, like that of the stomach. At this level, the jutsu must be formed with two hands unless the user is A rank (Jounin), and requires one post to charge; at the begining of the second post, the jutsu will be completed and ready to use. (If the jutsu is used before the charge is complete, it is instantly reverted to D Rank power). In addition, at this rank the jutsu is still able to be launched, and will travel the full 10 meters before exploding once reaching the end of its line.

Put your Special Characteristics underneath the KKG Description header.

Full-body tattoo is fine, it's just visual. Life-force detection....is a huge asset. I recommend you make this a clan ability under KKG description rather than an SC, it's simply too powerful for that. You'll also want to give a maximum range.

+2 to Taijutsu....is that a +2 to the power of Taijutsu-based techniques, or can use Taijutsu techniques of 2 ranks higher? If you were looking to boost the strength of the character, simply put +2 in rank to strength.

Drawbacks, 2-tier weakness to genjutsu, healing jutsu are -1 effective, no third/fourth element. No Kyuujutsu is so insignificant, as it is merely a subspec of Buki now.


Aura Sphere: Detail what kind of damage each rank causes; unless knocking back/exploding does nothing at all but make people flinch.

B-rank isn't okay. B-rank jutsu can't destroy S-rank armor, which is what this implies it can do. How far does the explosion go?

Does this mean you get all forms of Taijutsu as in both Striking and Grappling?

+2 to Taijutsu technique usage: +2
20m passive sensory range: +5

-2 genjutsu resistance: -2
-1 healing effectiveness (does this stack with the mandatory Pharmacophobia?): -1
Mandatory Pharmacophobia, if not the same as above: -1
No Kyuujutsu: is now a Buki subspec. No drawback for you.
No third/fourth element: -1 each.

You still need more drawbacks. <3

D- Should be light bruising. What is the difference between forming with one and two hands?

C- Should be heavy bruising and possible small fractures.

B- Bone breaking, flesh rending, AND internal organ damage? I have just realized that this jutsu is reaaaaally Rasengan-esque <.< I'm not in love with the idea of a large beach ball-sized projectile, that, with what is detailed here, can and will go straight through a person. Reduce the power.

You still haven't added more drawbacks, as Miles requested. A +2 to taijutsu and a 20 meter passive  sensory range isn't balanced out by barring or limiting specs/elements, really. If someone plans on making a character in this clan, they can essentially get a free +2 taijutsu and sensory range if they don't want kyuujutsu or don't plan on having more than two elements: the only drawback with substance in which case would be the -2 to Genjutsu. So yeah, add more drawbacks. Also, inability to learn a third and fourth element means that they wouldn't need to take Hesitant (Element), since that effect is already in place. Take the Hesitant (Element) SC requirement out; you could even take out the barred third and fourth elements too if you replace them with sufficient drawbacks.

..... the range to the sensory was scaled back to 10 meters before you even replied. The clan is taking a double resistance to healing effects, as well as an increased weakness to genjutsu used against them. Beyond barring them from using using ALL Bukijutsu (Which would be insane, as this is a melee-range, warrior monk clan), I'm left with banning ALL ranged forms of attack (I.e. Kyujutsu, long-range ninjutsu, puppetry.) I've already stated that the clan cannot learn medical, which is completely banned by clan belief. That leaves me with Senjutsu and Summoning.

Senjutsu itself isnt something that everyone and thier mother will have-- and summoning leads to senjutsu.

So now, you tell me what would constitute as a 'fair' drawback, given that I've nearly banned everything from the clan. This clan was meant to be solely about close-range combat -- with thier KKG jutsu (and any varient of) as thier signature. If by banning usage of nearly everything else isnt warrent enough for a boost in what the clan specializes in, what is?

One thing I have actually been asked to enforce is that clans that can't take a third and fourth specilization/element are not able to take the hesitent negative, sense it is in no way a negative to them, so having the clan required to take the hesitent(with no balance) is something that should be noted.

The +2 to taijutsu has to go, as per updated rules. Drawbacks can be adjusted as necessary.

The sensory pulse needs a jutsu write up.

Aura Sphere needs to have its damage values edited to follow updated jutsu guidelines.
