To hold your destiny in your hands, it is a powerful feeling indeed. This feat however cannot be accomplished without knowledge. It cannot be sustained without courage. And it cannot be cultivated without virtue. One who acquires these traits is an individual in control of his or her destiny. They hold the power to set in motion events that cannot be stopped, and only in fantasies be impeded. It is through the virtuous person that makes this possible, the man who has lost all fear of passing on this revolutionary jewel. He is a Domino Maker. Powers extracted from the soul lie in him, consuming him so, it becomes indistinguishable from his flesh. These few of otherworldly conscience do not kneel to the standards of the majority, nor do they quiver in the presence of their magnitude, for it is a false power. An empty threat. A vial of weak venom. A wooden gun. They know of where true power resides, and they wield it literally.
A story is not a story without a message that crawls into the crevices of the conscience, where it stays until the host has refuted its transcendental ability. Without that important aspect, what was played, acted, or written, is among the lowest standards, a glob of expressionless and diluted energy. If the imagery at hands does not teleport you, if the thoughts expressed do not intrigue you, most importantly, if it does not "last", it is not a story. Redefining it in this way may seem arbitrary, it may even seem grotesque, as the manner of construction is coiled in obscurity to some, maybe all. However, much margin has been supplied for those who are in good standing.
Destiny, Justice, Morals, Tales, Intangibles... all notions either addressed/mentioned directly or indirectly. What does it all mean?? Kenji didn't know. His beastly combat partner came closer. In the end, they couldn't with their current experience, with their ultimately fixed perception gaze upon the Domino, nor the man who's hands crafted the destiny machine. His orb of virtue made it plausible for him to place such enlightenment onto anyone.
The above motifs, the Domino Maker, His creation, Kenji's connection to it... all dangerous questions... but all necessary...
