Kai was not so sure about this job but all he was asked to do was to plant a Kiri sigil stone right in the border of Kiri. " This should be an easy job, all I need to do is plant this sigil stone right?" thought Kai to himself. Kai himself was not a ninja from Kirigure but he still occasionally does missions here and there by any villages that require any missions to be done cause that is what wanderer ninjas do to get a living. Any wanderer ninjas are always hired for this kind of missions which they usually take from the request board on that particular villages. The sigil stone planted on the border will help to identify any ninjas that go through the border for security need or that is what Kai understood from how the mission briefing goes as he was not a type of guy who would listen much in this kind of intel but more like to just go with it.

Kai patiently scout his surrounding for any sign of enemies ninjas nearby. Even though it is dark, Kai was able to discern any ninjas nearby with ease as Kai has got some talent in his perception abilities since he enrolled in the ninja academy. He is in fact one of the best ninja in term of speed, time reaction and perception among the graduated ninja of his time. The mission had to be carried out at night due to avoid any combat as possible and to be able to for the ninja to move silently planting the sigil stone. As Kai had sure that no one considered as enemies nearby, he make his move by running through the bushes along the way which also act as camouflage for him in the dark to the position where the sigil stone was suppose to be planted. Kai got to his position and quite relieved as he encountered no one as he tried to get there. Kai then pick out the sigil stone from his right pocket but as he then suddenly he heard a sound coming from his back along the bushes.

Kai quickly focused his attention towards the source of the sound while holding a kunai in his right hand for just in case he being attacked by enemies ninja. He has ready himself for anything that might jump out of that bushes anytime now. A few seconds fly without nothing but silent and drips of sweat coming out from Kai forehead as he was being cautious. Kai's sweat drip on the ground and in that split second 2 presume enemies ninja leaped out with their weapon drawn and head towards Kai without even giving any talk or explain them self.

Things were not in Kai favors as Kai is obviously at his disadvantages by fighting them one against two but Kai has still managed to keep his calm to maintain the success factor of the mission. " I've got to beat them fast, before more comes out!!" thought Kai as he desperately evading one by one of the enemies attack getting more tired by each time. Kai leap back ward and start to manipulate tiny strings of thread along his finger but they the enemies cannot sense this. " What are you doing? heheheh" laugh one of the ninja as he sees Kai does this weird movement with his hands. Suddenly, blood start to appear on the enemies face like its being cut and minor scratches and cut wounds start to form on their bodies. " Whattt is thiss? Arghh" Demand the ninjas as they started to move his body trying to get off the chakra thread around them but it is all futile as it does not work." This is a invisible chakra string that I can controlled from far, you will be dead soon if you don't escape now." tease Kai as he also explain to the enemies questions. The enemies are so angry that they start to focus a greater amount of chakra in their fist and cut the string out with ease even though they cannot see it much to Kai shock and leap for Kai giving a kick right on his chest. Kai recoils backward after he received the hit.

Kai was breathing heavily as he try to catch his breath. " You thought we will be that weak..Huhhh" brag the ninja as they come closer to Kai. " From which villages are you? Ninja?" demand the guy wanting to know Kai identity but it is said that every ronin ninja that took any mission from any villages would never reveal their mission giver or from which village they com from. It is just the unstated rule for a ninja and every ninjas should know this but apparently they are not. "Hehehehe...*SPIT* " as Kai just keep on silent about his mission. " Try to act tough eeh?" said one of the ninja as he come approach Kai. " I need to get them closer" thought Kai as he has think throughly his plan on his mind. Kai then conjured 4 needles out of from his chakra and quickly throw them to the enemies. With the enemies so close by and unaware of the situation, they are too late to dodged the needles and got hit. " I can't move my body. What's wrong??" said the ninja confused. " Hehehe, you all have fall to my tricks. The needles are specifically are no normal needles. They are made from my chakra and I have imbued it with numbing properties which kinda give you the paralyzing effect after you're hit. Now time to finish this." Kain made string appear in the air. This strings are all imbued with a hefty amount of chakra and strike it at the enemies giving them quite wounds as the string is bladed and able to cut through flesh. Blood is dripping on the ground of the cut made on the enemies. They are bleeding because of the cut and fainted in the spot. Without taking any time more , Kai quickly go on to the location and planted the sigil stone on the spot. The planted area was glowing as it is planted and then after a few second it all fade out. Kai took his time to recuperate and treat his wounds with his Basic Recovery Method technique. A technique known by all medical ninja.

Kai was able to finished his job at last even though he had almost fight par on par with the two ninjas that almost kill him. He does not know what happen to both of them as he left them at that spot so they might have been dead or maybe alive by now being treated of their wounds.

Kai proceed to Kirigure and received his reward for the mission The reward is not much but it will suffice for just one person and for a week for Kai as he rarely bought any stuffs because he knows that when he does, he usually cannot control his urge and bought more than needed. Kai does not have any plan so far for his life other than keep doing mission in Kiri and maybe gain the village recognition.
