D-rank
Fuuinjutsu Specialization(B to A) 3034/3000 words

A shinobi of his fortitude was excelling in fuuinjutsu, but keeping a primary art form of ninjutsu as his prime. Why was that? Well some could suppose he fascinated the physical amplification of chakra rather than using it as a passive tact, but it was the other way around. One could hold all three: supplementary, offensive, and defensive with his elemental ninjutsu. This was amplified by his fuuinjutsu which he believed could access him to greater feats that no one truly could comprehend. It was seven O' clock AM sharp, and the bright orange-yellow hues of the sun were just starting to peak the Kage Mountain.

Daichi had just woken up out of a great sleep, moving to get his day started, and do his morning necessities. Shower, brush teeth, get changed, do laundry, eat breakfast, and decide what he was going to do for today. It seemed like it was one of those days to spend an extra amount of time on his fuuinjutsu techniques, and actually excel in such. As a Chuunin he was expected to live up to his ranking, and those who were in this position were now considered adults. Despite his age was nothing compared to that of a real adult, his responsibilities were, and that's just what it was.

"Backpack...check! Paper....check! Scrolls.....check! Ink....check! Brush....check!" he checked off all the items he would need, stuffing them into the backpack, and heading out. The shinobi was rather particular about his fuuinjutsu training, and knew that he'd need many things to experiment with seals. Outside was the perfect area to do so, mainly to gauge his strengths, and he couldn't afford damage in his home.  The boy slid the straps over his arms, letting them hang on his shoulder to support the bulk, and headed out the apartment door. Jogging down the hallway, stepping down the stairs in a hurry, and continuing to run forth to one of the close by training fields. This area was rather small, but enough for him to practice in. It was seventeen yards in width, and twenty-five yards in length. There was a large wooden fence stretched around the area, trees dotting the edges of the landscape next to these barricades, and a single opening which led into the miniature park from the tiled street.

Huffing was heard as the Uzumaki tried to regain his breath, heaving, and eventually slowing up his inhales. A manual instruction was needed sometimes after running, because if not...he'd lose full mobility. he thought as the boy spotted a good area near some of the trees by the fences, it was the western edge of the training field, and it was next to a small little pond. Fish were seen swimming inside of it, no bigger than his very hand, and even frogs were seem occasionally. A sudden plop occurred as the boy let go of the strength in his legs, falling backwards, and landing on his butt. A shifting of his arms, grabbing a strap, and whipping the backpack to in front of him. A few moments of tugging, grabbing, and placing happened before all the equipment he needed was in front of him. The paper was left in the bag for now so the wind couldn't pick it up, and launch it around the field. That'd be a whole different task...

The first step in him working on his fuuinjutsu capabilities was to test his currently known ones. This was a step primarily because it helped him gauge his current abilities, and know where he needed to increase. Only could he take the next step if he was able to perfect the previous. Successes over attempt were the initial factor in this, but the main focus was to feel comfortable doing them. Once the feeling stuck, that's when he initially knew it was time for him to reach further. If the steps weren't sturdy...it was a risk taking huge leaps forward.

"Alright, I need to seal objects in multiple sizes. First will be a branch, second will be a stick, third will be a larger stick, next will be a miniature log then a actually log itself...." his spoke out loud as he stood up, moving around to grab all these items which were increasingly larger than the last. The purpose of this was to use his Uzumaki sealing technique to see what he could seal, and what he could not. This would allow him to gauge his strengths, and weaknesses in the department. First it was the branch....the Uzumaki formed the single hand seal: rat. After it was formed, he concentrated his chakra intensely to place his hand onto the object, and before you knew it...it was sealed away. The brown haired boy nodded with appreciation for his skill set, determined to make his next move, and formed the same seal. Usually it is done reverse to bring the specific object back, but it only required one seal.

"Rat...." his voice was firm, quiet, and still.....

The boy slammed his palm onto the ground in front of him allowing the seal to appear, stretching outward, and the branch appeared. A cloud of smoke erupted from the void it was pulled from, covering his hand momentarily before it was cleared by the gentle breeze that flowed by.

Two successful attempts to unseal, and seal the object. This was rather easy to him, and he already knew he practically had the E-rank version of this technique down to the T. It was all a matter of how efficient he was, how much he practiced, and how well he could keep his art forms progressing. That's when he moved over to kneel down to the next stage of the technique, which required more chakra than before due to the branch no longer being a branch, but a stick.

A mustering of the required seals: Rat, Ox. They were formed consecutively, fluently molding the chakra within' his body, and pushing it into his hand. That's when he slammed his hand onto the stick to allow the seal to appear on the outside of the object of choice. It wasn't long before the seal dissolved the object into the void, trapping it momentarily, and soon dissolved itself. Daichi gave a pleasing smirk to what he had accomplished, maintaining focus, and contemplating out loud for a short moment. "This technique is genius! Honestly, the ability to seal things on the spot without an actual paper...or scroll? That's something we have over our competition!" his voice was loud, prideful, and obviously captivated by his clans skill set.

Ox, Rat. The hand seals were formed backwards, allowing the chakra to be molded once more before he slammed his palm back into the initial spot he had taken the object from. Quickly, a cloud of smoke erupted to soon float away into the air. It was a small cloud of smoke which dissipated in the sky as the stick was now back, one-hundred percent intact, and successful. Again the attempt was perfected, and the D-rank version of this technique had professed itself.  It was time for a lunch break before he'd continue the second half of his training, and that'd be in an hour or so. The boy sat up packing up the equipment he had brought into his backpack before tossing the latch over his shoulder, and slipping the other into it. Both arms were now inside the belts, and hung on his shoulder for support.

*After Lunch*

The Uzumaki had returned from his delightful lunch at one of the nearby restaurants close by which made his favor pasta meals, along with various properly cooked vegetables, and mixed it all together with a special sauce. A medium meal was all he needed to fill up, and there was some even left over. They offered him a box to pack up, and the boy dropped it off at his house before he had came to the training field to resume the training for the day. The sticks were in their previous location, and now it was time to start on the third branch which was rather large, and would require much more chakra than previously. It was draining to seal, and unseal these objects repeatedly. That was the most difficult part of all, but during battle one could prepare beforehand.

"Alright! Time to get this rolling again~" his voice was re-enthused, ambitious now, and had cultivated a new energy where it previously lacked. Majority of the time training was a tedious thing when looking at it, but holding a different perspective could make it everything. All great ninja put intense dedication into there hard training, and it showed on the playing field. Perhaps this was simply a small factor in the great things he'd help do. Only time could tell! Now the Chuunin had walked steadily over to the third object which was now a larger and thicker branch. A mini log practically, and it'd be need to be sealed in succession. A clap was heard as the boy slapped his palms together, thrusting into various seals: Rat, Ox, Tiger. One by one he went through them in his head, reciting them, and molding the proper amount of chakra to use the technique. It'd require a step up from the previous, and this naturally allowed him to understand the ability of the technique. The right palm of the shinobi stretched out, laying it across the miniature log, and allowing the chakra to flowed through his finger tips. A black writing seemed to outstretch around the object, consume it, and emit a cloud of smoke as it was taken into the void. The object was now considered sealed as the smoke wisp'd away, and flowed into the breeze.

The shinobi was now breaking a sweat despite his previous meal. It was the chakra drain which was adding up, and surely it was going to push half-gone soon. As a member of the Uzumaki clan he naturally had roughly a seventh extra of the usual chakra. It added up in the long run, and he could press out far more jutsu than the average Konoha ninja. Another formidable trait was the increased fuuinjutsu specialty he had, and being on the brink of mastering that art as well. This was all going to pay off eventually, and in that time he would begin to show the village what skills he truly had as a Chuunin of the Hidden leaf. These thoughts raced through his head as he imagined himself doing heroic feats, showing people ambition, and being the pure embodiment of motivation. There was no lack, but only gain. He tried hard where he was strong, but strives where he lacks. That was the brink of success for this young man.

The hands clapped together once more, moving through the hand seals in a backward manner: Tiger, Ox, Rat. Chakra sparked within' himself spiraling into life, and being called forth into his right palm once again. The shinobi slammed it onto the ground, concentrating, and calling forth the same object he had just sealed before. It wasn't long, probably a second, and a white cloud of smoke emitted from his hand. The ninja's arm shot upward slightly as the log instantly appeared, taking up space, and forcing his arm to adjust.

It was a matter of diligence, and cooperation with ones body. The mind, spirit, and body held a perfect trinity in this manner. It was due to that combination that anyone could muster these abilities, create dreams, and pursue them. This was something the Chuunin contemplated frequently as he passionately pushed for his skills to reach their prime.

Intelligence was a minor factor in the whole system of a shinobi. Considering their have been less intellectual beings, and more fighters. Everyone had their own assets and consciousness wasn't necessarily a requirement. Brute force and animals were capable of instinctively fighting efficiently. Daichi on the other hand was capable of asking "why". As a human, a intuitive one at that, he was capable of further diving into the miracles of the world. One of them was seals, and the advancement of fuuinjutsu all together.

The Uzumaki's dream was to advance his clan, represent them and lead them to victory. What victory did this entail? Only time would tell.

CLAP! The Chuunin's hands smacked together harshly, formulating the seals required: Rat, Ox, Tiger and Serpent. Extending his hand onto the log, he outstretched his fingers to feel the bundle of sticks and soon they exploded in a cloud of smoke; vanishing. They were sealed in the void-temporarily because he could summon them back in any space.

The day was beautiful, very bright and colorful. The suns rays casted onto the tree's revealing the green beauty. The tree tops were plump with ripe green leaves and fluttered in the afternoon breeze. This same breeze swayed through his hair, which mimicked the movement of the trees before his bangs rested in front of his intent face.

The Chuunin's hands shifted into a reversal of the previous seals made. He obviously mastered the B-rank technique, and proving his learn-ability. A decent sized cloud of smoke appeared from his palm. It overtook a decent area before the breeze cleared it, pulling the smoke and forcing it to disintegrate. In front of himself was a large pile of sticks, not fashionably set up but rather unorganized. It was a very big pile, loosely fitted and stacked anything but neatly.

Now that he was capable of doing this, it was time to push his limits.

First, he needed a reference. Luckily for him he kept a reference log memorized from his previous teachings. Despite he wasn't capable of performing the technique, it was still common knowledge among his clan. The sealing technique was virtually unavoidable in this family. Everyone understood it, practiced it and loved it. It was something to be cherished, but something to be feared as well. It was very organized, revolutionary and resilient. It proved to be extremely helpful in missions, battles and more. Daichi loved his clans techniques, and always seemed to study more and more when possible.

"How'd it go again?" Daichi spoke to himself, rubbing his chin softly like he was literally trying to jog his memory. It took a few moments for him to remember the next seal in the list. "Ah, it's dog! Rat, Ox, Tiger, Serpent, Dog. Rat, Ox, Tiger, Serpent, Dog. " he repeated the list twice, memorizing it and practicing it momentarily. His hands were rather quick, especially since he was extremely familiar with Ninjutsu techniques. Fuuinjutsu held the same concept, but instead of producing things...it was controlling variables. It was a very fascinating art form and hard to comprehend for some.

' I wonder who made it....' the small thought drifted through his mind. His imagination was a wild one at that and usually found himself day dreaming. It was only when he had time, though. If there were serious matters, detailed plans or anything that needed to hold his attention...it would.

After a moment or so of going through history, he couldn't figure out who created it but he knew who would master it.  The boy walked around collecting more sticks, logs and whatever he could find. It was time to try his A-rank technique, proving his new limits and further trying to excel where he lacked. The primary focus of his journey was to be a technique scholar. One that could lead for his family, and express his beliefs to the world. It was time to prove himself and to the world...peace was achievable.
A true skilled shinobi was all about compromise. The dedication to the world around, yourself and spirit. The idea of being a master of fuuinjutsu, in his opinion, wasn't necessarily about the exchange...but the fortitude. What this meant was the nature of the technique is one thing, but the caster is the other. The user, weilder of weapons are what determine them. The technique does not make the man, the man makes the technique. This simple law is what determines many things.

The nature of Daichi, Uzumaki was a very peaceful...justified...and passionate one. As seen by his training style, consistency and fiery will that drove him further on his journey. It wasn't shortly after that he had collected many logs, sticks and other objects he could find. The idea of this training excercise was to test his reserves, and also expand his ability to seal large amounts. It was essential to have this technique to back him up, and lessen his traveling weight. Since he was a ninjutsu-focused shinobi, the weight would prove difficult so he could seal them instead; compensation.

Rat, Ox, Tiger, Serpent, Dog. His hands carefully made each seal, fingers tracing eachother before connecting. The core of his chakra suddenly shifted, rising and flowing into his right palm. It extended over the objects, flowing into them and generating a final pull. He'd need to seal and unseal them to be successful.

In a moments notice the chakra transformed into a cloud of smoke. The objects were transferred into the void seamlessly, quietly and without any obstruction. As it cleared, it revealed his technique proved successful but that wouldn't be the end. Now it was time to unseal it...could he?

The chakra reserves he had left were minimal, very close to being out...

"No, I can do this!" his voice echoed through the empty field. Formulating the seals in reverse: Dog, Serpent, Tiger, Ox, and Rat. POOF! The chakra flowed through him, extending almost the last of his energy. A cloud of smoke erupted! Sticks, twigs, logs, leaves and rocks started to roll out from the smoke. They all began to stack in a pile, higher and higher until each object was back into space. Beads of sweat formulated on his forehead, rolling to his eyebrows and the bridge of his nose. A simple huff of breath left his lungs, and he inhaled a new one. It was done.
