Kekkei Genkai Description:



The creation and manipulation of sound waves in order to produce either an adverse effect on the opponent, or a beneficial one on the user. By utilizing their chakra, the user may alter the frequency of sound waves to the point different lengths can induce different effects, Due to its lack of physical substance, Ototon is more of a supplementary and offensive release, effective at short to medium range.
This unique Chakra Nature is selectively brought down through the Ancestors of Otogakure. Most users of the Ototon begin with a weapon/musical instrument that had been brought down through generations of the family's existence.


The techniques:

Sound Release (音遁) are offensive-type techniques that allow the user to to manipulate their yin and wind nature together to create a release allowing one to manipulate sound and soundwaves to their whim. By using yin release one can create and manipulate the surrounding molecules in the wind to create a variety of different noises and by infusing with wind chakra can project these sound waves and even enhance their volume with wind.




Two paths exist for the clan members, each has It's weaknesses, and powers.




The Musician Path: 

 NinJutsu users that manipulate  sound via NinJutsu.[Your Primary specialization must be Ninjutsu your secondary specialization is optional, however, you are not allowed to take Genjutsu as a secondary spec.]

• They are capable of using Ninjutsu of one rank higher than their usable rank(In other words a genin can use B-rank techniques.)
  
• +1 against all elements unless the opposing element is raiton which receives +1 against Ototon.
  
• A-rank Sound techniques have the speed of
  a rank higher technique.
  
  

The Illusionist Path:

Using sound as a stimuli to trap others in genjutsu proved effective in various battles that have been recorded in histories books, And this Is what the Illusionist does.[Ninjutsu can only be taken as your third spec or as your fourth here as well]

• +1 To Sound Genjutsu
  
• A-rank Sound techniques have the speed of a rank higher technique.
  
• The ability of using Genjutsu of one rank higher than their useable rank [A Genin can use a B-rank genjutsu]
  
  

Drawbacks

• +2 To Raiton when used against clan members
  

• Due to the difficulty of the element +25% more word count to training jutsu and element 
  

• They may only use Ototon and Fuuton elements
  

• All elements(Ototon/Fuuton) Must be trained from D-rank SEPARATELY(In other words, if you train your fuuton to B-rank your Ototon must also be trained to B-rank or whatever you rank you like, your ototon release can either be equal or ranks lower than your primary element: Fuuton.) 
  

• All clan members tend to rely too much on their primary specialization and thus, they can only learn their third and fourth specialization at Jounin, their fourth spec however can only go up to C-rank and their third spec can only go up to A-rank
  

• Sound once released cannot be controlled, like a bullet once shot cannot be manipulated.

Kekkei Genkai Jutsu:

While this is still a WiP, it has already been stated that "Sound Release" falls under basic ninjutsu (non-elemental), thus it will not become an element of it's own. Sound will not be locked to a clan, as everyone has access to it.
