Yuuto Uzumaki
D-rank
Its funny how it got to this point, really. Yuuto was simply walking down the road until he heard the mention of a man named "Seven Bells". Intruiged at the name he had to listen on their conversation, eavesdropping every detail he could. As they finished talking he decided to gather some information of his own. Moving the lock of golden hair away from his face he smiled gently approaching one man from behind, and with a tap on the shoulder he instantly began to talk. "You wouldn't mind telling me where I can find this "Seven Bells" person would you?" Saying it as gently as he could without sounding too demanding.
The question was asked as he turned around, no doubt startling the man, he had to double take the question but it was no doubt he heard it. He gave Yuuto a slight smirk before he laughed towards him saying "You think you can just find him and tell him to lay down and die?" This type of behavior caused a distaste immediately for Yuuto, but he needed the information. Raising a hand he needed to distract the idea of death. "I'm not looking to kill anyone, I'm just interested in who he is." Tilting his head with a slight smile, hoping for something actually useful this time.
The man paused for a moment, obviously taking glancing and sizing up Yuuto, sighing at the end of it all. "If you must know who he is, you will need to travel to Kirigakure. I have no information on the man personally. All I know is hes a terrorizing bastard." He must be a product of evil to have this kind of reputation, Yuuto graciously bowing towards the man, giving hid wave of goodbyes. He couldn't help but just imagine who this man could be. He would see soon enough.
The path to Kirigakure became dark, the days passed and the roads became more barren, it concerned Yuuto to the point he needed to know, he'd already gave his undying pledge to help the villages when need be, but he never expected it to ever be like this. He was stopped by a few jonin that have been patrolling the area, they must have been keeping an eye on him before hand, it wouldn't wise to approach someone in a time like this off the bat.
They asked where he was from and he told them, he told them he was a wanderer and that he was willing to help in any way they needed. They had no reason to trust him but they needed the extra hands. So a few days later we ended up here. He was tasked to keep the chain of command for Kirigakure safe as they traveled to aid the frontlines, they allowed such a stranger so close, but of course they had many shinobi around them, he hadn't planned to kill anyone in the chain, but he sincerely felt sorry for anyone with the audacity to try. An attack was commenced but they were away from the commotion, in a more higher ground platform to oversee the entirety of the battlefield below.
The chain of command was gathered toward the middle, even spaced apart, it was raining and the mist made it hard to see. It flew through the mist so fast, ramming down a shinobi towards the front, a kunai lodge into his chest with a fatal strike into the heart. Yuuto jumped forward looking out at the mist, seals being formed around his hand ready for attachment. This was going to either be bad or good, he needed to know the power of these shinobi before he took any further engagements.
They started to come from the mists, shadows gliding through the air finally came down to rain hell from above. Kunai and shuriken began to fly down above them. One seal attached to the air above one of the commanders, Yuuto yelling for the others to gather so he could attach the next one beside it to block off the initial decent of the weaponry. Extending his hands outward he let off 6 chains that flew trough the air, his expertise would allow him to capture the weapons between the links. He retracted them back to his hands, the caught weapons limping and falling to the ground harmlessly, the rest able to be handled by them.
Yuuto started to notice them coming through the sides of the path, through the mist and the slaughter began. Five members of the caravan fell before anyone took notice, but Yuuto was already on the move. He create another seal floating around his left hand, his right hand index finger pointing upward, you could see the sparks flowing through it. Yuuto exited through the mist, leaping into the air and jumping off a tree for more height. One of the seals formedinto muscular dystrophy and shot towards one of the shinobi, hitting directly into the back stopped his advance as Yuuto came down onto him with a dim mak finger into the back of his neck, allowing enough time for him to grip a kunai from his vest and wrap it around his neck, slicing firmly and jumping away to attack the next one.
He noticed one of the gliders hovering too far below, he was good at making plans quickly, more of a perk for him if anything. His years of study allowed tim to quickly think and react, this allows him to sucessfully observe the battlefield and act accordingly. He leaped onto the nearby trunk of a tree and began to run up it, gaining enough height to leap out and grab onto the man with his left hand while the right hand held his kunai. A quick slice to his fingers caused his grip to slip, but Yuuto began to fall with him. A quick chain escaped his hand and wrapped around the branch of a tree that swung his body upwards into the air, allowing him to grip the glider. He'd never flown a glider before, so his ability to go up and down would be lackluster.
He threw his body forward in the attempt to move downwards. It was wobbly at first but his body fell to far forward. He began to plummet to the ground, slicing one of the shinobi's sides with the blade of the glider. Yuuto rolled into the ground, landing so hard he became dazed from the event. He struggled to his feet with blood rolling down his head but he knew he needed to continue on with the mission, he wasn't giving up here.
A shinobi dropped from the air from a glider in front of Yuuto. Still dazed he tried to back up a bit after he threw his leg forward to his face, but quickly followed it up with a blow to the head that sent him down to his feet. He rolled upwards to look at him, a smirk rolled across his face as he brought up his blade to impale Yuuto. Closing his eyes he felt the cold steel drop close to his face. An ally, a jonin, launched himself towards the attacker to save Yuuto.
Crawling to his feet he thanked the man who save him from a poor mans death. His daze wore off and he began to assess the battlefield. It was in shambles at this point, as if we were the front lines. Another flank came from the left, and thus a few seals were made with muscular dystrophy. He was too weak to take on these people alone unless it was from behind, but this time he was being attacked to the front, he needed to help his superiors to quickly take down as many as possible. The commanders in the back preparing to fight as well. Yuuto lunged forth to one of the shinobi with a Jonin ahead of him, his attack stopped the shinobi and allowed for Yuuto to ram a kunai into his gut, the jonin was able to finish him off.
Yuuto looked towards his left to the flank and saw another jonin being overpowered, throwing his seal towards the side of the attacker allowed he jonin to trip him and impale his frontal lobe with a katana. The attack was soon over, casualties were made, we lost a few good men but the chain of command was perfectly fine. Everyone was a bit shooken up, even Yuuto, but they needed to push on.
They began the caravan once more, their aid to the front lines wouldn't be ask strong as it once was but it needed to be something. Yuuto couldn't help but flashbacks toward his "almost" death came through him. A fellow genin quickly brought him back to reality, and a good thing too, the last thing he needed was a DPD attack, he needed to finish this mission without breaking. "You okay?" he asked Yuuto, this genin having gotten a bit injured as well. It looks like anyone and everyone was needed for this mission. "I'm doing fine, but the real question is for how long", looking towards the floor, trying to fend it off as much as he could. He was questioned why but the sound was drowned out and he was soon left alone.
The place began to look foreign around him, people, things, himself. Yuuto was about useless at this point, it never failed to be in these crucial moments, but he needed to find a way to control it, or at least cope with it. He felt far away from himself, like he was watching himself. It felt like the caravan just followed his exact step, was it fake? Was it all fake? Yuuto always kept it in the back of his mind that its just the DPD making him think this way, but the intensity of this one was incresed through the almost kind of near death experience as he self proclaimed it to be, he was more scared of the skill gap than if he would of died or not, but he had a mission to do and he appreciated the delay in this.
They were almost there, a second band of shinobi entered the group, they were sent at a checkpoint to make sure we arrived safely to allow for the frontliners to know our position, if we had been destroyed their efforts may have been in vain. He was slowly retaining information about where he was and started to feel more at ease. Yuuto became a bit fatigued, he exerted a lot of chakra during the fight, he took a seat on top of a supply crate being pulled, he didn't follow the casual rules, he'd relax when he needed, not because he wanted to look weak, these were his rules, do what he wanted.
Soon arriving towards the front lines they began to unpack all the supplies, they gathered around shortly thereafter and were briefed on the current situation they were in. Yuuto looked out towards the battlefield and observed it thoroughly, he looked above and saw more gliders incoming. He noticed the chain of command taking their places along the battlefield, Yuuto knew it was time for him to take a place on the field as well. He could see ninja from every village gathered here, it was a lot more than just a simple defense, this "Seven Bells" was a real threat, and for every ninja across the world to be here against it, he knew he was going to be apart of something big, but the damage was great, he wondered why he didn't know of this sooner, maybe too busy studying.
At any particular rate he felt more accepted at this point, he knew the village needed help with this but he didn't realize the state they were in. He saw them fighting everywhere, but Yuuto was more focused on gliders in the air, it seemed they would rain down hell any second. He wouldn't be able to protect everyone, but he could protect himself. He dipped to the ground and moved a body over him in a protective cover and aimed his arm upwards to shoot a single chain towards the gliders. He ripped into one of the wings, wrapping it around the wing entirely and pulling him towards the ground. This alarmed many of the shinobi around him that were too busy in the close quarters defense, but Yuuto was running low on chakra, he still had more than most but he'd burned a lot of it during the defense on the way here.
Noticing a flank towards the right, he saw he needed to aid the Genin in that area, rushing hard he lunged forth with the others, wrapping a chain around his body he stood behind him as the others barraged him. Four to take down one, not too bad but it needed to be done quicker. The rest of the genin followed suit and the teamwork was lackluster but it allowed them to get the work done without much casualties, but the bodies still littered the field, it took precise timing to strike in a field like this where every step could trip you to your death.
Soon enough Yuuto was faced with a single enemy of his own, everyone else to occupied keeping themselves alive to help one another. This one held a four inch blade and looked as if he would wield it properly. Gauging his strength he looked like he wouldn't be able to properly break the chains. Sending two from his left and right palm shot out towards the man. He was able to properly parry a few but one sucessfuly wrap from his body, suppressing his chakra. Yuuto motioned the other chains to wrap around as well, the extra wraps rightly around his body. It wouldn't last to long but the struggle was great and Yuuto felt it.
He lunged forward this his kunai and aimed for the jugular, he wanted to swipe it quick, but the man motioned a spin and Yuuto missed, the man was good at evasion and broke the chains earlier than expected. A single seal formed in Yuutos hand, muscular dystrophy created and as anticipated he would strike at Yuuto. With a quick dodge he was able to apply the seal on the neck of the man, constricting his airways causing a crippling pain that sent him to his knees, stiffing his neck and incapacitating him fully. It was by pure chance he hit a sweet spot. He stood over the man as he choked, a fear was stricken through his body as he looked at him, barely able to speak he mustered "Who are you?" A frown crossed Yuutos face as he looked down to the dying man and crouched down to close his eyes, keeping a palm over his eyes, he never liked death or killing another human being, this mission particularly hard. He knew death was apart of his profession, but he wanted people to accept a change of heart over death.
He finally spoke into the ear, the last words this dying man would hear. "I am Yuuto Uzumaki, I am the Alchemist."
The question was asked as he turned around, no doubt startling the man, he had to double take the question but it was no doubt he heard it. He gave Yuuto a slight smirk before he laughed towards him saying "You think you can just find him and tell him to lay down and die?"
