Background

The Genko clan, then known as the Endo tribe, was a small group of mercenaries who traveled together across the shinobi map, before settling in Konohagakure no sato. The group was originally formed only 280 years after the war between the allied nations and Madara Uchiha. 20 years after it was formed, the clan was separated into several branches, however all took orders from the main branch, the leader of which was a man named Rikano. The clan's various branches were was scattered across the shinobi map, though all stayed in contact with the other. Rikano was believed to have been the Genko clan's original founder. He also went on to lead the main branch of the clan. During his time as the clan's sama, Rikano lead the family into victorious battles with enemy clans, and most of the time came out victorious. It became well known that the clan's success in battle was because of Rikano's 4 secret ninjutsu, which he had created himself. These later became the Genko clan's 4 hidden arts, taught only to the members of the clan.

The Eyes

Throughout the Genko clan's time in the world, they had won many battles thanks to Rikano's 4 hidden techniques, but the fear of the hidden jutsus escaping into the wrong hands haunted the clan. Members lost their trust in those outside of the clan, branch leaders forbid their members from interacting with outsiders, eventually exiling the clan from the rest of the world.

Rikano saw the paranoia for himself, he knew his people would not be at piece until they were reassured that their secret jutsus would forever remain a secret, so he set off to find a solution. The sama spent most of his last few years perfecting his skills in medical ninjutsu. In his late 80's, Rikano managed to create a virus, that when injected into a Genko clan member's system would interact with their chakra pathways so that only those with the virus could mold their chakra in the specific way required for the activation of each of the hidden arts, but a month of injection of the virus, half of the members used to test the virus died and the other half lived. Rikano made improvements to the the virus, using the genes of the surviving members to make sure the virus worked on others too. Unfortunately Rikano died before he could test out the second virus, the supposedly improved version. Those who were injected with the first virus lived to produce many off spring before dying of old age. It was the second generation of the clan's members, that evolved the unique trait notable in Genko clan members' eyes today.

The oldest in his generation, Tatsyuaga, the son of Rikano himself, was born with purple coloured eyes. He was the only one his his generation to have this trait, and oddly enough when all of the children were old enough to learn the clan's techniques, only Tatsyuaga was able to comprehend them and utilize them. The clan then decided the next leader of the main branch should be Tatsyuaga.

After he had three children of his own, Tatsyuaga noticed how his sons all grew up without purple eyes, however when each turned 10, the eyes begun to manifest the boys' 'normal' eyes, until they too were fully purple. Children that weren't born from Tatsyuaga and his wife were taught the 4 secret techniques, but none of them could comprehend the hidden arts. Only the 3 sons of Tatsyuaga were able to learn and master the 4 hidden arts. It was clear to the clan, that their unique purple coloured eyes, were the clan's key to keeping their techniques a secret from outsiders, as even clan members who didn't bare these eyes couldn't learn the techniques at all. It was clear to older members of the clan, that the once problematic virus that claimed the lives of half of the clan's population, had evolved into the unique Doujutsu the clan could use to hide their techniques from outsiders...

Kekkei Genkai Description:
This eye is original to the the GENKO clan. It was later discovered that they were needed in order for a member (or anyone who manages to attain at least one of the eyes) to learn the Genko clan's four, hidden art techniques: Earth Changing Terrain, Mental Presence, Electric Shock Impulse and Heavenly Attack, but aren't necessarily needed to utilize these techniques once learnt. They allow the user to see hidden cues in the clan's techniques which only these eyes can see. They enable the user to truly understand the clan's jutsus when attempting to learn them, something someone without the eye/s cannot do. These eyes are gained when a male Genko clan member turns the age of 10, and they become permanent to him for life unless stolen. They give no extra field of vision, nor any extra advantages in combat and clan members can activate/deactivate the eye at will without a chakra cost (When deactivated, the person's normal eyes are dominant. When activated, these eyes are dominant).

B rank - Users can emerge and submerge doton walls, half domes, spikes (when dreged on pierce one's foot)and pillars no taller than 10m, no wider than 5m and no thicker than 2m, from a distance of 20m. Users at this rank, can also change an area of land 20m around them into mud and back to earth. Once the jutsu's activated, the user is then able to pick up exact locations of all targets moving on or standing on the surface of the area within the jutsu's range, based on the pressure they add to the surface and the vibrations they give off when they move across said surface. The user draws a pitch black, blank canvas in their mind, with one large dot on the center of the canvas: this large white dot represents their current location. When the user picks up a change of pressure on the surface they're currently working on, within the jutsu's range, a smaller white dot will appear on the user's mental canvas to represent the area where there's a change in pressure on the surface. The user will then use the location of this smaller white dot on the mental canvas, to determine where in the real world, around in their current location, this change of pressure would be.

The user sends an electric shock wave, that will start at the user's pinpoint location, then expand outwards in all directions (360 degrees) from the point it was formed at (where the user slammed their hands). This electric shock wave can, at high ranks, stretch as far as 80 meters, though minors like D ranks can stretch the jutsu only as far as 5 meters. It's effects are strictly to anything in contact with the ground (i.e person standing on the ground, person standing on something in contact with the ground within the jutsu's range) at the time of its activation/maintenance. D rank = jutsu range:<5 meter radius, first degree burns to affected area C rank = jutsu range:<15 meter radius, second degree burns to afflicted area/1st degree burns over entire body. B rank = jutsu range:<25 meter radius, second degree burns to entire body, stun to affected area for 1 post. A rank = jutsu range:<50 meter radius, third degree burns to entire body, paralyze opponents for 1 post. The bird must continue to be fed 5-10 chakra per post after the initial 3 post duration, to maintain it going. The bird can be maneuvered freely by the user, until it hits the target, though for how far it can be maneuvered is determined by the user's rank. C rank - second degree burns to afflicted area/1st degree burns over entire body, bird can be maneuvered in and around a distance of 25m away from the user. The bird's maximum speed at this rank is 20mp/s. B rank - second degree burns to entire body, stun to affected area for 1 post, bird can be maneuvered in and around a distance of 40m away from the user. The bird's maximum speed at this rank is 35mp/s. A rank - third degree burns to entire body, paralyze opponents for 1 post, bird can be maneuvered in and around a distance of 70m away from the user. The bird's maximum speed at this rank is 45mp/s. S rank - damage = 4th degree burns to affected area, 3rd degree burns to entire body, paralyze opponents for two posts. Bird can be maneuvered in and around a distance of 90m away from the user. The bird's maximum speed at this rank is 80mp/s when it is travelling in a direct path (strait line) otherwise its 65mp/s.
