Kyousuke licked on his recently bought Ice Cream in the market. This day might be one of his memorable day for him because of his first C-Rank mission. Unlike taking a D-Rank mission this might involve dangers that can't be compared for a C-Rank mission. He looked at the shop and walked inside and find the shop keeper.

"Umm.. Hello?" Kyousuke wandered around inside the shop. He noticed a wide choice of weapons in the shop, even though he was not a weapon fan he was still amazed on their numbers. While looking at the weapons a voice spoke that surprised Kyousuke a little.

"Who is it?" A male voice spoke and walked towards the direction of Kyousuke.

"I was the one assigned in the security of the store, my name is..." even before Kyousuke tell his name the man spoke.

"No need for formalities, here are the details of your mission. Don't be too blunt that you are defending this store you need to catch the burglar no matter what! and also please keep the damage minimal or best no damage!" Kyousuke get the information the owner gave him. He read through the information but it was no help to him. He decided just to hide somewhere near the store and wait for the culprit to enter the scene and catch him.

It was a cold night at the store, Kyousuke was hiding in the bush outside the store. Patiently waiting in the bush is not his thing, he never thought that C-Rank mission really need patience to be dealt with.

"Now, I command the culprit to appear!" Kyousuke whispered to himself and in just a few moments later a shadow appeared. Kyousuke prepared himself for an ambush and a cat appeared. Disappointed for seeing the cat and relief for not seeing the culprit. He took a deep breath and waited in the bush.

The night passed and still no signs of culprit. Morning arrived and the owner woke up Kyousuke who was sleeping inside the bush.

"DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD CATCH A THIEF LIKE THAT?!?!" the owner shouted waking up Kyousuke.

Kyousuke waking up after the loud shout quickly took his position and bowed his head towards the owner. "I'm sorry for falling asleep but there are no signs of thief last night there were just cats." Kyousuke told the owner.

The owner not fully convinced asked Kyousuke to do the night shift again and this time try to find a more discreet place to hide.

The sun has already set and it was time for Kyousuke to wait and catch the culprit. He looked around for hiding spots.

"There aren't any good hiding spots here." Kyousuke told himself looking around. Kyousuke noticed the air was surrounded by fog. Feeling the fog Kyousuke thought of a good idea. "Good thing today is foggy I could somewhat use some of my Jutsu but it would be too obvious if the fog is thick." Kyousuke thought.

Kyousuke desperately trying to find a good area to hide walk inside the store.

"I will just wait for someone to come inside and catch him inside. Sorry shop owner this might cause damage but this is the best way I guess." Kyousuke thought to himself as he hide inside the store.

Hours later, Kyousuke who was nearly falling asleep saw a shadow moved near the door. "Who is it?" he thought to himself as he was waiting to see someone.

He saw someone move near the area where there are lots of weapons and he knew from that moment on it was the thief. " Kirigakure no Jutsu" He activated a jutsu that lets him vanish in the air. He approach the man silently.

The thief quickly noticed the area being covered in mist, he quickly held a kunai on his right hand and on his left hand a group of shuriken. Kyousuke surprised to see the reflex of the thief knew that he needed to be more careful.

"This man, he saw through the mist." Kyousuke thought to himself after realizing that the mist is really an obvious move.

Kyousuke still hiding in the mist picked up a nearby kunai in the store and quickly dispelled his jutsu. He ran towards the man trying to pin him down but the thief won't go down without a fight. The thief threw the shurikens in his hand.

Kyousuke tried to dodge and moved swiftly from the shurikens but one of the shurikens hit his arm. Kyousuke's eyes widened to see an open wound from him, he knew that even this simple wound would take days to heal.

The man picked up another weapon and since Kyousuke is not knowledgeable much about weapon his skill is on par with the thief. The man quickly swing his weapon trying to attack Kyousuke but he managed to use his kunai to block.

Kyousuke backed a little trying to think on what he should do, before even thinking of a tactic the thief threw another batch of shuriken towards him. Kyousuke jump up trying to avoid the shurikens but the man threw another batch towards his location. While in mid-air Kyousuke can't move again he has no choice but to use Nagare. "Futon : Nagare" Kyousuke was forced to move sideways to dodge the shurikens. One shelves was blown sideways because of the jutsu. Kyousuke landed looking at the shelf worrying about the shop keeper. "How will I explain myself, I have to catch this thief!" Kyousuke thought to himself and threw his kunai at the thiefs location. The thief parried the kunai using another kunai and when he looked back at Kyousuke he was gone.

Kyousuke uses his body flicker technique and uses the kunai to distract the enemy. The thief who was trying to find him was lost. Kyousuke quickly appeared back in the thief back and in an instant his hands glowed in green chakra and use it to deal a minor damage on the thief's both legs. The thief fall to his knees and Kyousuke quickly deactivate his ability. "I knew it that this jutsu comes quite handy" He smiled while pulling a rope on his kimono tying the thief's both hand on his back. He brought the thief outside the store and Kyousuke looked at the thief using the moon's light.

"It wasn't a good choice showing up while I'm there" Kyousuke smiled triumphantly at the thief.

The store owner was surprised to see how large the damage happen to his store.

"What the hell happened here?!??! Hey you NINJA!" The store owner shouted while walking outside his shop. Upon getting out the owner saw the thief tied around and beside is Kyousuke.

"Good thing you caught him, I really should put this at B-rank instead of C. damn these Genin" The store owner feeling bad at using a Genin. Still he was thankful that the thief was finally caught.

"Anyways thank you for catching the thief for me! I would decide what to do with this thief later , now go home and take a rest young lad. You did a great job destroying my shop .... and also catching this thief."

Kyousuke smiled shyly on the owner and went his way back home.

"It was my first C-rank never thought I would use such effort in C-Rank." Kyousuke tired and weary head home to rest after two nights with only a little sleep.
