Training completed 543 out of 450 | Quick Learner

Guanyin Nanashi never thought in a million years that one day he would be tasked with training the next generation in the arts of being a shinobi. Such a ridiculous notion never crossed the man's mind. For why would he be tasked with such an objective? He was literally a sociopath who only cared about the well being of himself, and a select few. He used others for his own personal gain, while removing any that might become an obstacle in the future. So why would be bother himself with training someone else, who he probably won't have any emotional attachment to? Truly a boggling question, if there ever was one.

But yet, here he was moving through the streets of Iwagakure in the early hours of the morning, dressed in the standard Iwagakure get up, heading towards an undisclosed location to meet up with a student. A student who by in all accounts should have requested someone else for a teacher, but nevertheless chose to stick with him. A student who unknowingly have entered the lair of snake, that could possibly strike out any moment. A student who didn't like to kill. Having a teacher who can do such without batting an eyelash, and with a smile on his face. By all accounts the pair were totally opposite, with medical ninjutsu being their only common interested.

The majestic roar of the waterfalls crashing down below, along with the fine mist that sprayed across his face, told Nanashi that he had arrived at the destination. The destination in question were Waterfall Point, a place known for the gallant waterfalls, that provided Iwagakure majority of their water. The area is also open to tourist for a selected amount of time each year, luckily this wasn't the time for such an event. In this case the place can only be access by shinobis of Iwagakure, though many only come here for relaxation, Nanashi came here to train. And it would be this spot where the Guanyin will training his student.

Stepping onto a small body of water that's created from the numerous of waterfalls, Nanashi watched impassively as ripples occurred with each step on the liquid surface. The man really didn't need to practice his chakra control, it being relatively high, but it never hurt to continue doing such an exercise. But that wouldn't be the only thing the man would be doing. Using a single kunai, Nanashi made a gash across his palm, metallic red liquid dripping into the water, as he stares at the wound momentarily. Visible chakra radiates from the opposite hand, dancing off like wisps of smoke, these wisps of chakra begin to solidify forming into a single transparent blueish thread. Using the single thread, Nanashi began the process of sewing up the wound, wincing slightly at his own chakra piercing his flesh as the wound begin to close. Only after he finish did Nanashi flex the sowed up hand testing the durability of the sutures that were create. Only when he were satsified did the special jounin, went back to waiting for Alessi. The woman having been told to show up for training this morning. She has exactly forty-five minutes to here.

This take place before time skip. . . sorry for the wait

Alessi spent her morning preparing for what was to come. She knew she was going to train with her new sensei, but she seemed a bit nervous about doing so. Slowly moving throughout her house, she would search for anything she might have forgotten or might possibly need. After a good half an hour, Alessi deemed herself ready and headed out to meet her sensei. There was no rush to get there, so she took her time getting there. As she walked, she noticed that the village was surprisingly quiet. Though it may have been a bit early in the morning, there were still a few people out on the streets. Most of them were either getting ready to set up their business or enjoy the quiet of the sleeping village. Whatever the case was, Alessi continued on to meet Nanashi.

To pass the time while walking, she began to think about what her sensei had in store for her. Remembering key words from their past conversation, she noted that her sensei mentioned a spar or some sort of training. Judging purely off of her first impression of Nanashi, it would be difficult, but Alessi was up to the challenge. Thinking more on it as she walked, she eventually made it to waterfall point and was now heading up to where she was to meet her sensei. The sound of rushing water slowly became louder and louder as she approached her destination. Leaning to her right, she could see that Nanashi was already there and waiting for her to arrive. Seeing him, she immediately smiled and started to walk over to where he was.

When she was about ten feet away from Nanashi, she quietly greeted him. “Good morning Nanashi Sensei.” She continued to walk until she was right beside him. “So, what do you have planned for today?” Her voice was cheery and light. She definitely sounded excited to start her training.

Punctual, one of the prominent keys of being a successful and respected shinobi. Comrades respect those who are punctual. For they can count on the other individual in dire times, knowing that they would always arrive on time. Sadly many individuals doesn't bother in being punctual nowadays, with their comrades suffering the consequences for their negligence, Truly a sad fact of this era, Luckily, Nanashi didn't have this problem, the former geisha being an extremely punctual individual having the tendency of showing up to meetings and such usually an hr or two earlier. Throughout the entirety of his shinobi career Nanashi had never arrived anywhere late, And finding those who do in being an annoyance, and incompetent, So Nanashi was presently surprise when he locked eyes on his student making her way over to him.

Good morning Alessi. And please just call me Nanashi. We are comrades, aren't we?” A smile forming on his, eyes scanning across her appearance, making sure she had was equipped for today session, and given a mental nod of approval. “We'll be sparring with each other. A simple and easygoing spar.” He stated, the word 'simple' and 'easygoing' obviously being a lie.

There is only one rule in this spar.” The man having put a good five meters between the pair, five senbons clutch with his right hand, gleaming in the morning light. However they wouldn't take their for long, for with a simple flick of his wrist they were sent flying towards Alessi, aiming for her center mass – more importantly her stomach “Come at me with the intent to kill. . .”

As soon as she heard they were going to spar, she grinned and started to search her bag for something. It didn’t take her too long to find her combat gloves. After pulling the gloves out, she threw her bag to the side and began to slip her hands into them. She made sure they fit comfortably and were ready to be used in combat. Her mind started to race as she thought of her Sensei’s capabilities and possible techniques. She was rather good at figuring out what role she needed to play during a fight. Though it would be a lot of trial and error, she would figure something out during the spar.

Alessi immediately noticed the senbons heading right for her and quickly hopped to her right in order to dodge them. Looking up at her Sensei as he spoke, she seemed a bit uneasy with the “one rule”. Looking away for just a moment, she turned her head back to Nanashi and exhaled deeply. “I… Okay…” It was rather hard for her to grasp the concept of killing. Even the thought of death and dying made her skin crawl. Shaking all distracting thoughts from her head, Alessi held her fists up and took an offensive looking pose.

Closing one hand into a fist, she tightened the muscles in her right arm and pushed off the ground. She looked directly at Nanashi to see if he would try any immediate counter, but would be too focused on the punch to see the counter coming. As soon as she got three feet in front of Nanashi, Alessi pushed her right foot forward and swung her fist right at Nanashi’s shoulder. Using the foot she placed ahead of her, she would pivot her body and use it to add a bit more force to her punch.

Nanashi nodded in approval, the thrown senbons having missed their intended target completely, partially embedding themselves into a rock formation. “At least she can dodge properly.” He mused, waiting patiently for Alessi to get her barrens straight – seeing how his words rattled her. Was it really that hard to take a life? The silver haired male never had that problem before. For the longest time he could remember killing was as easy as breathing air – it came natural to him.

Then again, I was born a killer. . .” He mused, eyes watching the woman closing the distance between the two. Instead of waiting for her to come to him, Nanashi also propel forward, closing the distance between them quicker than Alessi would expect while slipping underneath her guard, a single red chakra needle materializing before being thrust forward aiming for the woman's exposed and unguarded abdomen – all of which happen within seconds. The former geisha idly wonder how Alessi would react to his unexpected counter. Would she thrust a knee to clip his jaw? Or do something else entirely?

Alessi knew her Sensei wasn’t going to sit idly by while she went in for a punch, but she never expected him to intercept her attack. Seeing that he rushed forward as well, she quickly changed her tactic to counter whatever Nanashi was going to throw at her. Of course, her Sensei had caught her a bit off guard with the sudden counter-attack. Watching his movements, she noticed the red chakra needle that was being aimed right for her stomach. Changing the position of her upper torso and right arm, she aimed it lower and more towards Nanashi’s arm. Not only did the position of her attack change, she also seemed to change it into more of a counter. Opening her fist, she pushed her palm forward and meant for it to knock the arm holding the needle away. If it hit, it would cause Nanashi’s arm to be pushed out of the way and leave Alessi safe from the harm of the needle. Though she wasn’t too sure how to handle how her Sensei fought, but guessing that the fight would last quite a while.

An additional product of her attack would cause Nanashi to take a step away from her and leave her enough room for a follow up. If that was the case, she would drop to the ground and preform a quick leg sweep. This is all of course if she dodged the red chakra needle. If she happened to miss or not put enough force behind her palmed counter, Nanashi’s needle would be shoved right into her stomach.

Nanashi noted how Alessi was slightly startled by his counter attack. Obviously the woman didn't expect the action. But in this world one must expect the unexpected. A smile can't help but to grace his face as she transition flawlessly into a better position, without any signs of hesitation, arm propelling forward aiming for the arm that held the needle. The way she transitioned expertly made him wonder if she expected his actions. The silver haired didn't know nor did he care. For he had other things to worry about as Alessi's palm connected with his arm, needle being release, flopping aimlessly into the air before dispersing back to it's basic state – chakra.

The blow from the attack cause Nanashi to take a step back, jumping over the intended leg sweep, ten lightning senbons materializing in his hands before being thrown at the chuunin's upper body. Landing back on the ground, Nanashi jump back slightly, putting a meter between the pair and waited for his student next move.

Alessi quickly rolled backwards to avoid the ten needles heading right for her. Due to the way she rolled and where she was positioned on her last attack, her right leg was farther out and in direct range of a few of the needles. Two of the ten needles thrown hit her directly in the shin. Immediately feeling a shock jolt through her leg, she exited her roll and got some distance between her and Nanashi. Now that she was a good 3 meters from Nanashi, she quickly decided to change her how she went about this fight. Her leg was starting to feel a bit numb, but she didn’t even care about it.

Putting her hands together she started to start a long stream of hand signs. Once done, a green aura formed around her hand and seemed to sharpen to a point. To Nanashi, there would be no doubt that he could identify it as chakra scalpels. Again, she ran towards Nanashi, though her right leg seemed to be noticeably more sluggish than the other. Getting closer and closer to Nanashi, Alessi would then get lower to the ground and slide past Nanashi’s legs. Using both chakra scalpels, she would attempt to slice at her Sensei’s lower calves.

There comes a time where one wouldn't be able to completely dodge an attack, for whatever reason they might have. If founded in such a situation one must dodge as best as they can and only take 'safe' hits when avoiding isn't possible. What's a safe hit? Anything in a fleshy none crippling part of the body. While it seem like Alessi understood this concept perfectly, she still manage to get two stuck in her shin and Nanashi couldn't help but to frown – though the facial expression left as quickly as it came.

An eyebrow arc at the green aura engulfing the chuunin's hands. “Well isn't this interesting? Seems like little Alessi-chan knows it.” The special jounin muse, obviously referring to the chakra scalpel. While Nanashi didn't personally have the jutsu within his arsenal, he did know quite a bit about the technique. He didn't have time to wonder how she was going to use it against him, for she was already closing the space between them – though noticeably slower than before, most likely do to the lightning senbons hitting her shin. Like a repeat before Nanashi propel himself forward, leading with his right foot, ducking underneath her guard, raiton chakra flowing in right finger tips, right hand thrusting at her upper chest – nails digging into a sensitive(right boob) location sending the raiton chakra through her body. At the same time his left hand thrust into her lower stomach, attempting to push her backwards.

((OOC: Prepare for Hell...))

Watching as her Sensei skillfully avoided the scalpels, she never expected to see him dodge with such excellence and attempt a counter. It was due to this surprise that caused her to be hit by his immediate counter. Both of his hands made contact, the first one more so than the second. The effects of the jutsu had definitely hit her after Nanashi had pushed her back. Alessi was now hunched over the ground on her hands and knees. Nanashi’s attack had definitely struck her in a rather sensitive and… rude… location. Her mind was in a complete daze. She was shivering and felt like she had been zapped by an enormous lightning bolt. Due to the surge of electrical energy that had been shot through her body, she was having an incredibly hard time trying to move. Slowly but surely, she began to face Nanashi. Her face was bright red. It might have either been from embarrassment, or from an inconceivable amount of anger. Most likely, it was anger.

Though the electric shock might have affected her movement, it seemed to have very little effect on her voice and speaking abilities. “Na-Nanashi…!” Her face was now completely red with rage. Her mind was trying to piece together why his attack was directed where it was. Medically speaking, it wouldn’t be even slightly logical to hit her right chest. Her stomach or even the center of her chest would have been more effective. Coming to the conclusion that Nanashi had hit her there purposely made her absolutely livid. “Did…?! Did you just…?!” Through the stunning force of the jutsu, she clenched her hand into a tight fist and almost seemed to take a small step forward. If Nanashi could have read Alessi’s mind, he would be running.

On a medical standpoint the attack on her right puppy wasn't the most crippling spot to attack. One still can't deny the sensitive of the nub there, and if lightning is sent through it than there would be some nasty effects, though not as damaging as other places. Some might assume that he weren't trying to kill his student, thus why he hit her there. Others might assume that he just wanted to embarrass her in some way, shape or form. Others might just think that Nanashi were a pervert. And all of them were correct on some level. He did it for all theses reasons and more. .

Citrine eyes watched with disinterested as Alessi went through the effects of 'Burning Touch', overcoming the crippling aspect of it. The man could have taken advantage of her state but did not. For where's the fun in that? A smirk couldn't help but to snake across his features, noticing her red face and her trying to speak through what could either be embarrassment or angry – most likely the latter. “Yes, I did. Get over it. Now are you ready for the real fight to begin?” His voice disposition didn't change from the first time he spoke in the begin of their fight, it still sounded almost caring. Deciding to get some distance between the pair, Nanashi threw ten senbons aiming for her chest and lower throat area, at the same time to jumping back, landing three meters away from Alessi.

Hearing that her Sensei was fully aware of where he had touched her and more so that he didn’t care, Alessi tightened both fists to the point where they were shaking. She looked up and saw that Nanashi was now throwing ten more senbons right at her upper torso. Without even thinking about it, he lifted her fists up and knocked all the ones that were going to hit her to the ground. She looked pissed. Taking a few more steps forward, Alessi spoke again. This time, it seemed more hostile. “You… You did that on PURPOSE!!” Spreading her feet apart slightly, she set herself up in a position to punch, but was nowhere near close enough to actually make contact with Nanashi.

With a slight angry look, she inhaled deeply. To Nanashi, it would have looked like Alessi became a blur before striking him directly in the face. She had gone from her current position to making her fist meet her Sensei’s face in just a quick second. Right after the first heavy punch to the face, she then followed up by opening her arms, rushing forward, and hugging them around Nanashi, thus taking him to the ground. She would pause for only a moment before trying to swing multiple downward punches at him.

Perfect. While Nanashi had meant for the needles to hit home, that fact that they were knocked off course – landing harmlessly to the ground also played in the man favorite. He will surely take advantages of it when the opportunity rises. For now that time hasn't come, and there was something else needing the former geisha's attention – that being the angry Alessi-chan. Oh how cute she looked, face all red, nostrils flaring, fist clenching, probably wanting nothing more to turn her smirking sensei into a bloody pulp.

Yes, I did. What you going to do about it?” He asked, never taking his eyes off of the woman who had entered a stance and was inhaling deeply. Thanks to an innate ability called ace eye along with accounting for her speed reduction from burning touch, Alessi's movements were that of a snail pace for the med-nin. And by the time she were upon him, Nanashi's cheeks were already bloated with chakra, a fine mist with a distinct fuel odor to it expelled from his mouth, at the same time her punch connected with his jar. Because of the close promxity of the pair, the mist would undoubtedly spray across her face and upper region.

Nanashi didn't bother in trying to escape the bear hug that took him to the ground, with Alessi on top of him about to rain down punches against his face. Said punches would happen, Nanashi not bothering to block any of them – blood leaking from his cut lip. At least that what it would appear to Alessi, Nanashi himself had substitute himself with one of the senbon that were knock of course earlier – right when the first punch came close to hitting him.

Wasting no time, Nanashi formed the tiger seal before exhale a large fire ball that sped towards the back of Alessi. The distance between the pair a little under 3 meters, the fiery ball of destruction didn't have that far to fly before it made contact with Alessi. Though something glorious would happen before contact would be made, the fireball would ignite the highly explosive mist that lingered around the female, creating an even larger and more potent fireball – baring down the back of Alessi.

All the while Nanashi watched with mild amusement – not like his face showed that.

Alessi, too focused on her rage to notice the gas, brought her fist down and immediately saw that he had been substituted with something else. Quickly looking behind her, she could only watch as her Sensei shot a ball of fire right at her. There was no chance she would have of dodging the attack and being able to continue fighting. Her best bet was to put both of her arms up and block the full force of the attack. The fire hit the gas that Nanashi had previously exhaled and ignited the entire area around Alessi. A quick, and loud, yell could be heard as soon as the gas exploded around Alessi. Once the flames had ceased, Alessi could be seen face up with her arms covering her face and chest. The arms had received somewhat bad second degree burns. Small portions of her hair had been burnt, as well as a fair amount of her clothes. Overall, she looked to be in bad shape. Slowly bringing her arms down to her side, she attempted to stand, but felt too much pain to do so. That didn’t mean she wouldn’t try though.

Moving her head over slightly, she looked directly at Nanashi and seemed to glare at him. Immediately looking away from him, she slowly tried to lift herself up, and surprisingly managed to get to her feet. After taking one single step, she dropped to her knees and exhaled sharply from the pain. She was done. After the amount of energy she gave to try and attack her Sensei, and the hits that her Sensei had done to her, she was in no condition to continue fighting. Alessi just continued to silently kneel with her arms dangling to her side.

Nanashi couldn't help but to shake his head in a disapproving manner. Alessi should have been able to sense the sudden influx of chakra that had been built up within his lungs and expelled out of his mouth. If her mind wasn't clouded by rage, she probably would had sense it – but that wasn't the case. With that said, Nanashi watched stoically as the fireball connect, creating a giant explosion that rocked the surrounding area. Nanashi's arms automatically went up to shield his face from the dust and debris that were kicked up from the explosion. Only when everything settle did his arms come down, yellow eyes surveying the damage cause by that particular combination.

Those eyes noted the appearance of his student. The one that were placed underneath his leadership. The one that he was charged with grooming, in becoming something better than before. He noted the second degree burns on her arms, coming to the conclusion that she used them to absorb the majority of the damage. He couldn't help to nod in acknowledgment of such a tactic. Of course a fair amount of her clothing were destroyed and some of her hair, the man didn't dare to look at any certain flesh that was exposed. He might be a pervert, but he does have some standards. Yeah, right.

Nanashi didn't bother in responding to the hateful glare that she through at him. Yes, she will hate him for sometime, but she will look back on this as a learn experience – rage can be a powerful or crippling thing if used correctly/incorrectly. Maybe now she would learn how to control such an emotion, and not let it blind her. Before she could fall onto the ground, Nanashi were right besides her, carefully laying her on her back.

You did well Alessi-chan. “ He paused, a blue needle materializing in his hand. “Except, you allowed you rage to get the best of you. Yeah, I groped you. I did it to see how much control you have over you rage. And to put it bluntly, you lack finesse. Rage can be your greatest strength. As well as being one of your weakness. I be for damn if I allow it to be my student weakness. . .” The needle pierced her burnt flesh, being absorbed into the wound – healing all the wounds on said arm. The silver haired male would do the same for the other arm as well, with the only signs of her being in a fight was the lack of clothing and singe hair.

Here, take my shirt. Big enough to cover everything.” Nanashi said, handing his student his shirt – having removed it only moments prior. Now he sat beside her shirtless.

“So do you hate me?”

Watching as Nanashi continued to walk over towards her, she turned her head to look away. Telling her that she did well didn’t make her feel any satisfaction. Being pissed off at her Sensei was clouding a lot of her more positive emotions. The talk about how her rage was her downfall in her spar wasn’t helping either. She knew what had happened and really didn’t need to be hearing it aloud. Alessi did however listen a little closer to how her rage could be her “greatest strength”. It was definitely possible for her to use it with a bit more training, but that was to happen at a much later date.

The needle that Nanashi had materialized in his hand was slowly stuck into her arms. She flinched slightly at the poke, but soon relaxed once the pain had disappeared. Alessi flinched with the other arm as well. Normally, she would have been thankful towards Nanashi for healing her, but due to previous events, as well as him being a medic, she showed no sign of thanks or appreciation. Simply crossing her arms, Alessi let out a heavy puff of air. It was at this point did Nanashi remove his shirt and offer it to his student.

Alessi grabbed the shirt and put it on to cover anything that might have been exposed. It wasn’t that necessary. Only her sleeves and part of the sides of her shirt were completely burnt. Though because of her small frame, the shirt was a few sizes too large for her. With a displeased grumble, she turned her body slightly away from Nanashi after he had handed her the shirt. With a slight glance back when he asked if she hated him, she opened her right hand and slapped Nanashi’s cheek. “No… I don’t hate you…” She gave a slight grin to accompany her answer, but she still had a small bit of anger lingering around her words. “Though I do think a little less of you now…”

To the outside viewer it would seem that Nanashi didn't noticed how his student wasn't paying him any attention as he congratulated her and spoke about letting her emotions control her. It seemed like the man didn't care how she didn't look him in the eye when he were speaking to her. Or how that it was clearly obvious that she was still mad at him from the stunt he pulled. Yes it seemed to the outside viewer that he wasn't very perspective. But that's would be furthest from the truth, Nanashi had paid attention movement she made. Even when she discreetly perked up at hearing that her rage could be her greatest strength, if she manage to harness it. . .

Yeah, your welcome for the shirt. . “ the sarcastic remaking rolling off his tongue with ease, Nanashi having heard Alessi grumbling. Here was a man who literally gave his shirt off his back to a lady in need, and yet she didn't thank him!? Blasphemy! But to be fair it was his fault that parts of her shirt were burnt. . . Nanashi didn't bother in stopping the resounding slap across his cheek, guess it's only fair for he did groped her – he still smiled though, eyes locking into hers
Feeling better now?”Nanashi asked, eyes never leaving from hers “I rather you think less of me and learn everything that's needed to become a splendid shinobi. Than like me and not learn anything. ” He shrugged before standing up, and brushing the dirt off of his knees.
Though I must not be doing my job good yet. Soon enough you will learn to hate and despise me.” Extending his hand towards the downed woman “Can you stand. Or will I need to carry you?” a smirk dancing across his face.

Sighing slightly after Nanashi had taken the slap and her last comment, she looked back up at him with more forgiving eyes. The anger for her Sensei had disappeared, but the memory of what he did would linger around her mind for a long time. Nanashi had added his view on her previous comment, but Alessi couldn’t really make sense of it. Thinking less of her Sensei making her a better shinobi was a rather odd way to put meaning behind her comment. There was no use fretting over it now. She had more important things to go over. Watching her Sensei stand and offer a hand, she looked down for a moment to think. With her head still down, she stretched her arm out and grabbed onto Nanashi’s hand. Instantly, she was pulled to her feet.

Alessi slowly put pressure on her feet and attempted a first step. She wobbled back and forth for a moment, but regained her balance and started walking on her own. The spar might have worn her out, but she wasn’t to the point that she needed assistance walking. “I think I’ll be fine for now…” Staying silent for only a few seconds, she finally turned back and silently spoke. “ … and thanks for the shirt...” Adjusting the sleeves on the shirt, Alessi found a good spot where it could rest on her shoulders without falling off.

I'm sorry for what I did earlier. I could have riled you up another way, eh. Went with the flow of things. Surprise you didn't kick me in my balls.” A light almost to feminine sounded rolled from the man's lips, yellow eyes having noticed the flicking of forgiveness within them. And the special jounin decided he should apologize for what he did, though if he meant it or not was a different story. Though his words seemed sincere, so he must have meant. Right?

Helping her up to her feet, Nanashi stayed before her as she took her first step and wobbled – hand coming up to help her brace her balance, before removing themselves when she started walking on her own. A smile spread across his face at that small interaction, seems like the girl were stubborn and headstrong, something that would do her good for now on. “Don't mentioned it. You can throw it away when you get home.”

Walking beside her, Nanashi patted Alessi's shoulder lightly “You did well out there, we will do this again. But for now lets go home. You have the next two days off. Afterwords we will start doing missions together, and I will start teaching you somethings I know. If you need me before than, I can either be founded at my house or at the waterfall. . .”With that said, Nanashi left the waterfall, with Alessi by his side.

It was somewhat odd that Nanashi told her to just throw his shirt away when she got home. At the moment, she nodded to acknowledge she heard her Sensei’s comment, but had a completely different plan for what to do with the shirt. With a slight shake of her head, she started to slowly walk towards the long path down Waterfall Point. She really didn’t care if Nanashi followed her or not. Alessi could only assume he would end up right next to her and give her a little more information before heading home. Surprisingly, he did just that.

Alessi pulled the shirt she was given a little closer to her body as she started to walk. Nanashi seemed to catch up to her and walk right beside her. She tilted her head slightly when she heard she had the next two days off. It was somewhat odd, but she could use a little break. Her mind had already drifted off and started to think about what she would be doing for the few days. Of course she had to snap out of it pretty quickly due to Nanashi continuing his remark. With the last of his words being said, he left. With a shrug, Alessi headed off and went home.
