It was a cloudless sky in Iwagakure, across the highest peak in the stone country would lie nothing but a deserted, perfectly flat platform. Slow winds would begin to gather at the base of the Itami mountain before snaking it's way up the giant landform, allowing it's size to gather the small stones and dust that sat patiently around the mountain creating a thick gust of brown smoke which would slowly corrode the very mountain it came from. The heat would bellow across the atmosphere as the sun's gaze was at it's most typical state, having waves of heat nourish the dust clouds disallowing intruders from making it to the top of Itami Mountain. But at it's peak would lie a golden haired shinobi, his white shirt and black trunks would flow gently with the breeze as his crimson hued lenses stared at the large fireball supplying heat to their planet.  As the Tsuchikage there wasn't many day-off scenarios for the young Kanetsu, a day to relax, kick his feet back and lie in the blistering heat like his kin, thus each time he did it was usually spent relaxing in the sun. His love for the sun was unmatched in terms of pure adoration to ones enviroment. His skin would absorb the sun rays allowing his blood to slowly cook by the suns gaze. His body would lay flat across the mountain peak, with his legs completely stretched out in comfort whilst his head lay atop his right hand. Kazu was truly in 'bliss' as his lips would begin to slowly widen, allowing a full view of his white teeth. It was a perfect day for relaxation, and who better than to share it with a fellow Kanetsu?

It'd been five years since he had seen Satoshi, the only true reason why they had not met throughout the five years was due to Kazu's training he recieved throughout the 'wilderness of Uchimagi.' Even though Kazu had come back to Iwagakure, he would come as an anbu operative under the direct command of sir Tomio thus having to wear a mask the golden haired jounin would have to conceal his identity every time he came back to the village. But alas it had seemed the time had come and Kazu was chosen as a perfect candidate as the next 'head of clan' and soon would follow with the title of Tsuchikage itself. Who would have thought Kazu was to be the new leader of Iwagakure? As much as the majority of the clan had issues with his entitlement, it had seemed his skill level, rank and attitude toward the village was seen as perfect for the job. His golden hair would flow with an updraft of slow wind as he began to lose focus of the matter at hand. Where the hell is Satoshi?

A smug grin crept across the man's face as he causally made his way towards the mountain. Satoshi was to see Kazu, who he hadn't seen in years. This would be an interesting day, or so it seemed. With every step, dirt was kicked up in the air to form a miniature cloud of dust. Satoshi's face was bright and even showed the smallest hint of excitement as he continued to mosey over to the meeting spot. The sun bared down on his back, which only sent the ninja into a wonderful bliss of reactions, sending a tingle down his spine. Being a member of the Kanetsu clan made days like this some of the most memorable. He looked up to see a warm sun shine brightly in the sky as it pierced through the clouds with might. He approached the gigantic mountain with ease and suddenly picked up his pace. He used his speed and stamina to propel himself up the side of the landform, scaling it quite easily. Within a few short moments, he had neared the top of a mountain, which was impressive in itself.

After a few more well place jumps, Satoshi reached the peak of the mountain with a sigh. As soon his his foot touched rock, he resumed his casual pace like nothing had happened. He had grown quite a bit since seeing Kazu, so he wasn't particularly worried. He walked over to the relaxing man with a friendly attitude, one that was rare for the shinobi. Respect was not easy to come by when it came to Satoshi, but Kazu was one that it was granted too. "I see you are enjoying the weather." Satoshi said plainly as he sat down beside him and let the sun soak into his face. It didn't matter to him if this was the only thing they did, as it was enough for the shinobi.

Though Shigeki was typically a pretty playful person he knew that this wasn't the time to mess around. He adjusted his fishnet fingerless gloves as he walked towards the Itami Mountain, a powerful and imposing sight to be sure. He often came here to train when the sun was at it's hottest point in the sky, enjoying the extra workout in the blazing heat. He couldn't really think of anywhere he would rather be on a beautifully sunny day than where he was about to go. He tied back his blonde hair in a short ponytail and adjusted the sleeves on his long coat, his half shirt visible underneath and showing off his abdominal muscles. As he reached his destination the view in front of the ambiguous male struck him with awe, for on this day he was meeting his clan, and while doing so was also meeting with the head of clan, the Tsuchikage Kazu. He saw the Tsuchikage, his own red eyes being drawn towards the red orbs that adorned Kazu's face, matching his almost identically. He saw the blonde hair, probably coincidence though he wasn't too sure. The young Kanetsu leader would have been the picture of power, had he not been laying down relaxing.

Shigeki chuckled to himself slightly, seeing the Tsuchikage in such a position. As he looked around he also noticed another of his clansmen, the blood red hair setting him apart and making him more recognizable. Shigeki knew this man to be Satoshi, one of the Special Jounin of his village. He didn't know much about the man but he was sure that would change over the course of the day. As he approached the two shinobi he couldn't help but smile a little bit, his excitement apparent in the bounce in his step, interrupting his usual strut. When he finally reached the summit he heard Satoshi say; "I see you are enjoying the weather." He then took a seat near the Tsuchikage and Shigeki made his final few steps towards the pair.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late, I had some stuff to do around town.." his voice was soft and a little more effeminate than most men. He had found this to be a great boon in the past, being able to use his voice and appearance to disguise himself in any way that he wanted. He ran his hand over his hair from front to back, fixing a loose hair as he said, "Though it looks like you guys haven't gotten started yet.." He took a seat and crossed one of his legs over the other, his toes on one foot tapping to an unheard rhythm as he listened to the wind and looked towards the sky.

One day you will do everything you can to protect this man, one day you will be ready, Shigeki...Never lose sight of your goal.

As the heat would swarm across the peak of the Itami mountain, the skin of the Tsuchikage's would gain to darken in colour. His body completely relaxed while attempting to gain complete 'relaxation' as each muscle was completely loosened, allowing his frame to be lie completely still. But it had seemed his tanning would come with company as a familiar voice would proclaim to his right.

"I see you are enjoying the weather."

Kazu's eyelids would slowly retract, allowing a visual to whom the figure may be, and as expected his crimson hued lenses would decipher the physical attributes of Satoshi, a fellow Kanetsu. The Tsuchikage's lips would slowly widen bringing forth a thin grin to grow from below his nose. His golden earrings would flash with sun's reflection whilst his crimson gaze remained focused on Satoshi as he made his way to seat himself beside Kazu.

" The weather is amazing, i really could sit here all day but alas, i have new job to do, that being one of the reasons i wanted you to come as well as......" His words would be interrupted yet again by a new voice, but this time more unfamiliar. His crimson gaze would peer to his left, only to find a familiar face, not only did he share the same physical attributes with Kazu himself but he also shared the same surname.

"Speak of the devil. Shigeki, welcome." A silence would fill the air before he spoke alone again. I'm not sure if you two have been acquainted, Satoshi this is Shigeki Kanetsu, a fellow Kanetsu and newly ranked genin, he's showed enormous prowess in the academy so i'm excited to see how far he'll go. And Shigeki, this man is Satoshi, known for his unorthodox style of lava release using bubbles which has proven of great worth and skill, not to mention being an all rough strong shinobi of special jounin rank." His crimson gaze would pan to the skies just like his fellow kanetsu before slowly lifting his body high, stretching his body allowing his posture to remain in a linear fashion.

"Now, let's get to business. I've got some important news, i've been chosen as the new  Tsuchikage due to Sir Tomio stepping down, not only in this great for our clan, but it will mean i need you two, the future of the Kanetsu, to help me guide the clan to leaving the world infatuated by Iwagakure." An idle hand would raise below his chin, stroking his umber toned chin whilst grinning at the two in excitement. "This is where you step your game up. So shall we test out our progress as a clan?"

His loosely dangling arms would swiftly tighten as his fist's would clench forming two separate fists either side of his body. His crimson gaze would flicker between the two slowly keeping 5 meters apart from both men. "I'm only asking for a light spar, but try not to get killed hmm?" The smirk across Kazu's face would begin to widen more than he displayed, allowing his facial expression to portray his love for battle. His feet would begin coat in chakra whilst his the loose dust across the ground would begin to lift slowly in the air before clinging to the thin fibbers of the bottom of Kazu's trousers. "Let's begin." As absurd as a fight was what they were expecting, Kazu truly never had time for training, the Tsuchikage has truly taken a mental toll on Kazu thus a fight was expected more sooner than later. Not only was this a test of strength for his fellow Kanetsu, but it was a great way to see how they would battle with an overcoming power.

"It's always a pleasure to meet another Kanetsu." Satoshi nodded in respect as he he saw the young man. He wondered what the boy's capabilities were. He had a remarkable resemblance to Kazu himself, making him wonder if they were related in some way. Regardless, He would not underestimate the boy in battle. Many had underestimated himself and died because of it. "You shouldn't say such nice things." Satoshi joked to Kazu as he looked to his serious expression. He knew the purpose of being out here so far from the village. They were to spar most likely, which was fine with Sato. It would be fun.

"Understood." He said with a smile as he looked over towards Shigeki. "If we are going to do anything at all, we will need to team up. Follow my lead and no harm will come to you. I'll make sure of it." He wasn't sure that he could actually keep that promise up, but he would do his best. It had been a long time since he had sparred with Kazu and if he was Tsuchikage now, he had to have abilities on a different level. Satoshi walked over beside Shigeki and got into a defensive stance. Going on the offensive was not an option until he figured out the Genin's specialties and abilities. This would be interesting indeed.

Shigeki grabbed the tails of his coat and performed a small curtsey as he was introduced to Satoshi. He chuckled softly before he spoke once more; "The pleasure is all mine, Satoshi. I'm looking forward to learning from you two..." He smiled once more with his sweet innocent smile, noting that a lot of his characteristics didn't change between when he was being himself and in his "Shika" guise, though deciding now was not the time to worry about such things. He stretched in an over-dramatic way and enjoyed the sun beating down on his tanned skin, his eyes moving back to the gaze of the Tsuchikage. He had figured he was being brought here to spar with his clan, and although he wasn't the biggest fan of fighting, he was looking forward to having a chance to test his skills. He had never been one to pick fights, knowing that due to his blood disorder they could easily prove to be fatal to him, but he had decided this would be a good place to get some experience in.

Satoshi told him that he would protect him, which reassured Shigeki as he took a defensive stance behind and slightly to the left of Satoshi, in a place where he would be able to lock eyes with the Tsuchikage, not wanting to lose him and also wanting to make sure that Kazu was keeping Shigeki himself in his sights as well. He wasn't sure if his genjutsus would even stand a chance against someone as powerful as the Tsuchikage, but he felt as though he had to try. His hands were kept close together in front of his chest, in a way that he would be able to form hand signs when needed. His left leg was out in front of the right in a fighting stance used in most martial arts and fighting styles, and his eyes were deadlocked on Kazu.

"I will do my best as well Satoshi, I'm looking forward to fighting alongside you."

Golden hair would radiantly shine atop the Itami mountain, Kazu would stand patiently after his offer to involve some combat on their meeting. The long grin would remain it's shape as the Tsuchikage's crimson gaze would deduct the few options his fellow Kanetsu would take. A head on focus? Or maybe some mid range tricks up their sleeves? The peak of the Itami mountain only opened up to 20 x 20 meters, so long range wasn't an option. He truly wanted to test their strength and wit, how far would they go to keep Kazu at bay? His right hand would slowly creep down to his tool pouch before his fingers would slide against the cold steel of his ninja tools, his index finger would weave through the end loop of a kunai before unleashing it above him, allowing the kunai to glide through the air with it's trajectory aiming sky high before descending back to the ground, with it's trajectory aiming between the two (2.5m between them both). "Going on the defensive are we? Clever."

With his analysis would follow his first tactic. A simple kunai from above was too easy, so spicing it up was a guarantee. The Tsuchikage's hands would dance before him, weaving the bird hand sign whilst keeping his gaze focussed on the two before him. Within an instant the one kunai descending from the heavens 10 meters above the two would instantly multiply into 300 kunai, the amount of kunai was so overwhelming to the sky the sun would be completely blocked out from their angle, thus leaving a black cloud of ninja tools to rain down. Without a moments notice Kazu would begin to focus his chakra to his hands before transmuting the chakra into lava. The lava within his hands would slowly begin to change shape into two seperate kunai per hand. With both arms affront him his arms would gently cross his chest before flicking forward, throwing two lava kunai at each Kanetsu. Whether they went hard on the defence or played a swift offence, Kazu was out of range by his own kunai jutsu by 1 meter, any closer and he was sure to be struck by his own jutsu.

"Just be on your guard. Kazu is quite the crafty ninja." He said with a serious tone as his face showed no expression. His eyes never moved from Kazu, until he threw a kunai in the air. He raised an eyebrow as the Kage threw it in an arc, giving it quite a bit of air time. Sato eyes widened the moment the jutsu was activated, as one metal ninja tool quickly became three hundred. His expression reverted back to it's usual serious glaze as he thought of his move. He immediately created a jutsu that was familiar to all three of the ninja here. His mouth opened slightly as he released rubber from it. It hit the ground and immediately started taking the form of a half-dome, effectively blocking all the kunai from above. Satoshi stood behind the structure with a sigh as he looked back to make sure Shigeki hadn't run off somewhere. The poor kid had no idea what he was getting himself into. Satoshi eye's furrowed as four more kunai hit the rubber structure afterwards, making him think hard about his next move. His fellow clansman had really stepped up his game, that was for sure.

Satoshi wispered to his teammate with a soft voice, hoping that the Kage wouldn't hear them. "I'm going to distract him for a moment. Try to catch him off guard." Sato said to the boy with a firm pat before jumping from behind the defensive structure with a leap into the air. His eyes were dead set on the Kage as he threw a few hand signs before spitting out 20 red hot balls of fire at the target, spreading out their directions to be hard to dodge. Like a shotgun blast, the fireballs moved quickly as they spread out in their appropriate distances. Satoshi landed gracefully as he looked at the man with intent. He immediately started charging behind the balls of fire, hoping to catch him off guard with taijutsu. The combo wasn't one of extreme skill, but it was enough to hopefully keep him occupied while the Genin had a chance to contribute. He would aim a strong kick towards Kazu's chest, knowing that it wouldn't connect, but that it would serve it's purpose. He just hoped the Kage was kind enough not to destroy him before Shigeki had the opportunity to attack.

Shigeki watched as his teammate charged into battle, leaving him behind. He didn't mind sitting back, but he wasn't sure how he felt about his fellow clansmate going in alone against the Tsuchikage. He watched as the surprisingly quick Satoshi charged at Kazu and shot out several fireballs. He saw the fireballs going in the direction of the Tsuchikage and decided it was time to make his move, moving to a position where he would be able to dodge the attacks hurled at him while also having Kazu able to see him. He suddenly weaved three handsigns and then slammed his palms to the ground, his genjutsu being sprung.

If Kazu was watching his hand signs, which most opponents would, he would suddenly feel the ground below him begin to tremble and the ambient temperature around him begin to rise. He would find it impossible not to notice that he was surrounded by a pool of lava, which would cause fear in most people. The pool would burn up anything that was to touch it, or at least in Kazu's mind it would. Weather or not Kazu became trapped in the genjutsu, Shigeki would move underground and begin to travel towards Kazu to attempt to grab him so that Satoshi would be able to strike.

It wouldn't take long for his adversaries to react to his ninjutsu assault, the golden haired Kanetsu would stand completely stationary whilst his crimson gaze would pan before him, highlighting little clues that could better understand his opponents. Even with a most likely 'monstrous strength' advantage it would be completely stupid to underestimate the power of the younger Kanetsu. A faint grin would shape the Tsuchikage's lips as his crimson hued lenses identified the rubber jutsu his fellow clansmen had initiated before several balls of flames would disperse from his lips. With Kazu being familiar with both jutsu, it wouldn't take much to know their strengths and weaknesses. Chakra would begin to shroud around Kazu's arms whilst his body remained completely poised. The thick chakra cloaking his arm's would soon erupt into flames, completely shrouding Kazu's arms. He had now created an effective offense to enhance his damage output, but what about his speed? He didn't have long until the flames would strike him, so Kazu would build chakra again, but this time the chakra would coat his legs thus transmuting into doton chakra. He had just used him famous "Terrain Propulsion Step Technique" which would undeniably move at speed's most wouldn't even be capable of seeing. It was finally time to counteract the flames. With a single swift movement his body would launch backward, sidestepping from left to right allowing Satoshi's dispersed fireballs to strike the ground around him. With each fluent motion would come his crimson gaze still keeping a lookout on his two opponents whilst using his peripherals to keep the location of Satoshi's jutsu at bay.

The golden haired Kanetsu would search before him as Satoshi made his way toward Kazu whilst Shigeki began hand seals. Although it wasn't safe to assume, Kazu would diagnose Shigeki's hand signs into a 'molding of ninjutsu' which had seemed quite common for a Kanetsu. His body would continue to move backward but at a slower pace, allowing Satoshi and Shigeki to have complete view of his movements. But with an analysis done before hand by Kazu himself, he would only have 5 meters before he would run out of room to move before falling off the cliff face on the mountain. Timing was essential for his maneuver to succeed, his body would slowly drift to the edge of the cliff, waiting for Satoshi to come close enough to his body before making a move. As soon as it had seemed his time to counter had come, the temperature of the air itself would begin to rise as lava would begin to form around the Tsuchikage. His crimson hued lenses would flicker before him, is this Shigeki's doing? Was it the smartest thing to do? Was he in fact teaming with Satoshi or using him as bait? Either way the lava jutsu was to hit them both. It was quite odd, for a Kanetsu to be hot by lava so soon? It was unheard off.. And for a genin to pull a "two birds with one stone" seemed too much, especially in a fight which was supposed to build relations within the clan. Within the years of experience Kazu had, a jutsu like this was odd for Kazu's body reacted to the lava, could this have truly been the first Kanetsu who had used genjutsu? If it had been a genjutsu Satoshi wouldn't even notice the illusion thus he'd be unphased by the whole lava pool. Again Kazu would utilise his chakra, but this time to disrupt his chakra flow. Within an instant the lava pool would disappear and Satoshi was closer than ever let alone Shigeki's whereabouts were completely unknown.

The Tsuchikage had been in such deep thought, he had forgotten about the two other Kanetsu. A strong kick would launch from Satoshi aiming straight for Kazu's upper torso, there was still time to dodge the incoming attack thus the Tsuchikages legs would press against the warm earth below him before preparing to launch off the ground into the air. Hand's would erupt from the earth below, latching onto the heels of Kazu, holding him down thus disallowing him from moving. A short sigh would leave Kazu's lips. "I guess i just can't play defensive now, can I." It was evident the plan had been executed nicely by his fellow Kanetsu. But the Tsuchikage had his 'Twin Panther Fang' to let loose. His fire cloaked arms would launch forward toward the 'kicking leg' of Satoshi in hope of catching his foot. The flames around his hands would slowly devour Satoshi's footwear whilst slowly burning his ankles and shin (if the foot catching was succesful) before thrusting his arms upward, sending Satoshi straight into the air. His hands would swiftly clap together, commanding the flames surrounding his fist to disperse from his hands and manipulate outward into two flaming panthers, sprinting toward Satoshi amidst the air. Now that he had dealt with Satoshi, it was time to deal with Shigeki, and he had the perfect jutsu in mind. The Tsuchikage's hands would dance affront him, weaving a collection of hand signs before slamming his palms on the ground. Normally he wouldn't yell out the name of his Jutsu, but to warn the genin that he had a tiny window to escape, it was best he did so. "Get ready Shigeki, Lava Release: Magma Terrorforming." The earth below the Tsuchikage would begin to shake abruptly before veins of lava would begin to form atop the Itami mountain. He would keep the earth below him unable to split but he was sure that the moving earth would crush Shigeki below him if he didn't act fast. If the grip of Shigeki was let loose the Tsuchikage would use the speed of his Terrain Propulsion jutsu to escape to his left, allowing his fellow Kanetsu to act. The top of Itami mountain was a lake of lava with random circular land forms every few two meters. He was now 10 meters from each of his opponents and would wait for them to survive his assault.

Satoshi smiled as the Kage slowly but sure took apart the plan that he had set up, or so he thought. Kazu was quite the extraordinary shinobi from the looks of it, definitely worthy of his title. As the golden haired Kanetsu wove through the fireballs like a graceful dancer, Satoshi grew closer with his kick. Kazu seemed to be distracted by something else, suggesting that Shigeki had done some sort of Genjutsu. However, that was soon taken care of. Satoshi had no choice but to reveal his new jutsu at this point. It was the only way to get an advantage. As Satoshi moved within a few meters of Kazu, He saw the flame covered arm come towards him and so the real plan would be put into motion. Satoshi was seemingly caught by the kage's hand and thrown up into the air. Suddenly, Two flaming panthers surrounded and hit what seemed to be the middle Kanetsu member. However, once the flames died down, all that could be seen was a charred Kunai. The Substitution was a complete success.

Satoshi smiled as Kazu performed one of the signature Kanetsu techniques on Shigeki, though he doubted it would work. He peered from the defensive rubber that he had created earlier, waiting for his opportunity to catch the kage off guard. Regardless, he couldn't let the young boy stay out there for very long, as it certainly meant death for him. He jumped from behind his defensive position and threw a couple of hand signs. He molded chakra in his throat and chest for a few minutes before releasing two watermelon sized balls of quicklime at the feet of the kage. Each shot would keep the man in place, should Shigeki let him go. If he was stuck by quicklime, it would be much harder for him to dodge or even perform battle strategy. He knew that Kazu was much more powerful than either of them, so he had to give the man a handicap in some way. If the quicklime landed on both or just one foot, Satoshi would eventually pay ten more chakra to make them harden into a concrete like state, holding the man there indefinitely. Even if these two did not connect, He could easily keep this jutsu up for a good while.

Shigeki heard Kazu's warning to him, imagining that's what it was as why else would the Tsuchikage so obviously yell out his attack. He realised that if he kept on the trajectory he was on he would be popping out of the ground in a pool of lava, and that wouldn't be any good at all, so instead he decided to go backwards. He went to where he had initially went into the ground and made his rise, firstly popping out of the ground and then taking a second to survey the mess that they were in. Kazu had easily seen through his genjutsu, as he thought he would, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Shigeki was the first Kanetsu ever recorded to use Genjutsu and this could be enough to at least make his opponent weary of him.

Shigeki didn't feel like standing around to see what was going to happen to him, he wasn't a great fighter and he new this, being relatively new to the genin position he had just earned. He was, however good at a few things, though now was not the time for those. Without knowing quite what else to do he quickly created himself a rubber barrier from the ground around him and then tried once again for a genjutsu, weaving three hand signs once again and slamming his palms to the ground. Kazu would begin to see a large wall of rock shooting from the ground, at around 50m high directly after Satoshi's attacks had made their way past. If he was to touch it the receptors in his brain would make the wall seem very real. Shigeki knew that Kazu would likely not fall for another genjutsu, but he had to try. He realized quickly that he was severely outmatched and didn't have many options, needing to definitely work on more training if he got out of this alive.

In a subtle moment of victory, would soon follow a swift counter of precision, the tide was yet to turn in this battle and all three shinobi had been put to the test and pushed to their mental limits. It was a true test of stamina and quick thinking, the battle of the Kanetsu had just begun and it would only grow heated as time grew on. The golden hair Tsuchikage would plan to evade after keeping the both at bay after his multitasking counter assault, but alas his plans would finish with perfect results. His jaw would drop in awe as Satoshi's replacement jutsu would allow the scarlet haired shinobi to bypass the katon jutsu Kazu had expelled. He was completely amazed at his fellow Kanetsu's perfect timing to dodge his assault and counter as Satoshi vanished from plain site. But with Kazu's 'terrain destroying' jutsu, Shigeki had seemed to disappear from the warm ground below and resurface to the point of his initial location. The peak of the Itami mountain was now a sea of lava with only small sources of leftover earth which would sit amongst the corroding river and the two would already begin their assault against Kazu, his crimson gaze would identify his fellow Kanetsu to begin kneading chakra as they both began to create hand signs. So he himself would begin to knead chakra to his lungs, but this time it wasn't katon chakra.... But Satoshi' wout emit his jutsu right away, what seemed to look like balls of stone would make their way toward Kazu's feet.

A thin grin would begin to widen across the Tsuchikage's face as stone began to creep out from Kazu's mouth, gathering in a large mass before manipulating into a humanoid type figure affront him. His earth golem would slowly gain in size as the stone Kazu would implement into his jutsu would continue to offer the golem more mass. Due to his inability to move whilst utilising this jutsu Satoshi's jutsu was unavoidable, for one foot that is... His body would swiftly move to his left only to allow his right foot to snare with Satoshi's jutsu. The Tsuchikage was now incapable of getting out of this jutsu as the 'abstract substance' would begin to harden, completely trapping the young Kanetsu. But he had now set a brilliant defence as it was now 2 on 2 with the earth golem before him. The earth golem would obscure his vision of the two before him and Kazu had to truly dodge every attempt of genjutsu that Shigeki would attempt as the basic 'Kai' wasn't an option at the time. The two shinobi before him had fully stepped up their game, and it wasn't fair to them if Kazu didn't either. The smile that had been lingering across the Tsuchikage's lips would come to a halt as his crimson gaze would be no more. His eyelids would re-sheathe his crimson orbs before his hands slowly ascend affront his torso. Lava would begin to slowly revolve around the Tsuchikages arms, melting and hardening simultaneously whilst merging slowly down to his elbows. This jutsu was one of Kazu's greatest taijutsu enhancements, a strong strike with this to his fellow Kanetsu, and it would indeed be game over.

Yoton chakra would begin to knead amongst his lung before expelling upward over his golem and toward Satoshi and Shigeki (assuming their within 10m of each other) allowing a thin sheet of lava to descend from above in hope of loosening their attacking capabilities. The corroding element surrounding Kazu's arms would press against the 'hardened' substance his foot was attached to, only to melt it down completely. He would have hoped he had enough time to so with the earth golem protecting him from the front whilst the thin sheet of lava that had been expelled to the sky would keep them busy, giving Kazu enough time to dispel Satoshi's jutsu. Soon after doing so is body would slowly make his way around the golem until he stood side by side with his doton humanoid. His crimson iris would unsheathe from their closed state allowing the two to be in plain site. This was only the beginning and the expectations for his fellow Kanetsu was easily surpassed as the young kanetsu's blood truly began to boil. In awe of keeping the moment going a deep inhale of oxygen would soon arise before expelling his words in a 'whispering' fashion.

"The fight begins now. Come at me."

Satoshi was in shock as Kazu started to expel earth from his mouth in the shape of a human-like creature. He landed gracefully as he watched his superior's jutsu come to life, making Satoshi smile in the process. His fellow Kanetsu and Kage was an incredible shinobi. That was certain. However, Satoshi also proved himself by tagging the Kage in his own jutsu. At least with one foot. The quicklime hardened with incredible speed and Satsohi knew this would be the perfect time to attack. However, the speed of his Kage continued to impress him as another jutsu was already in use. The blanket of lava that covered the immediate are above him. He darted backwards immediately to try and dodge it, almost falling off the edge of the mountain as he landed on a slab of rock. The blanket of lava fell in front of him to combine with the lava that already covered the top of the mountain. Satoshi's eyebrows furrowed as he focused back on the opponent. Either it was an actual attack, or a distraction so he could set up his next move. As his eyes met the enemy, he gasped slightly to see his Kage free of his quicklime and standing beside the huge rock creature. His arms were covered in lava, meaning this was about to get serious.

"Nicely done, Kazu." Satoshi said respectfully as he looked to find his teammate. The poor boy had already been some help, which was surprising considering his rank of Genin. Hopefully, the boy had avoided the jutsu of the Kage and Clan Head, and was ready for battle once again. Sato's eyes darted back to his target as he focused on what was to come. He had to make a statement that he was prepared to do what it took. He opened his mouth to shoot two more globs of quicklime in that direction, though this time they were aimed at the Golem. He knew that the Kage was probably in control of it's movements, so the fact that he would try and pin it down would eliminate that advantage and provide a good distraction. Once that was completed, He threw a few hand signs and focused chakra in his feet. The earth that was below the kage would become mud and hopefully ensnare his feet. This was a simple technique that the Kage had seen before, but it served it's purpose. The first set of distractions was set and now it was time for the next stage of his assault.

Satoshi did not need hand signs this time. He opened his mouth to release a stream of lava, but it didn't stay in simple lava form. by compressing it and inhaling though his nose, he was able to convert it into bubbles. Five bubble were created from the stream, heading in the direction of which the Kage and his companion would dodge. Two headed towards the Kage himself, while the other three headed towards the earth jutsu. They were six meters in diameter and sped across the distance, unlike the Suiton version of the effect. He knew that this jutsu had been seen by the Kage before and would most likely be countered, but he had to try. He wasn't going to let Kazu win the match without a decent fight. Hopefully, the Genin would use this series of attacks as an opportunity to help in some way. He was a Genjutsu and Ninjutsu user from what Satoshi could gather, so he had to have some sort of ranged ability that could help, or so Sato hope. He stood there in a ready position as he awaited the next move the spar. This was getting intense.

Shigeki

Shigeki was running out of options, literally. He only knew a few more abilities that he could use in this fight, his training as a shinobi having just begun. He felt so useless and like he was completely out of his league. He couldn’t think of any way that this situation could possibly get worse, as he ducked for cover behind his rubber defence jutsu, one of the jutsus he had learned from his mother when he was starting out. She had been quite the impressive fighter, pairing with her beauty nicely as she made for a deadly knockout combination. Her specialty was a Taijutsu style that she called “Lava Fist”, something that, were Shigeki not as afraid of close combat as he was, he would have loved to learn. He smiled a cute smile and chuckled to himself softly.

Well if mum could do it, I can do it too. I learned everything from her, why can’t I be as good of a shinobi as she was? I just have to think my way out of this…

He looked back up over his defensive wall and watched in horror as the Tsuchikage spewed forward from his mouth a massive lava golem. Mitsuo had heard of the power of the Head of the Kanetsu Clan, but he hadn’t expected such a thing. He continued to watch as he moulded the lava around him, closing his eyes and working his chakra so that his arms were completely covered in lava, some of it cooling into hardened rock. This was the power of Kazu Kanetsu, this was a power that he could one day hope to attain. He kept a close eye on what the Tsuchikage was doing, while simultaneously watching the reactions of his teammate. Satoshi’s last attack had been somewhat effective, managing to trap one of the head of the Kanetsu Clan’s feet. That was where Shigeki would seize his opportunity. Though he didn’t want to get into close combat with the head of his clan, the first thing he did was make two simple clones of himself, the fact that they were clones fairly obvious to the trained eye. “Heya Kazy, over here,” He would yell in his playful girlish voice. He was hoping that the fact that Satoshi had distracted him would keep him from being quite as observant. The first clone ran to the right hand side of where Shigeki had been standing (closer to Satoshi), the second directly at Kazu and Shigeki himself running along the left hand side in an arc towards Kazu. Assuming that Kazu would have to check to see which one of him was the real him, at the moment Kazu looked in his direction he would meet his eyes, performing his third and final genjutsu.

It would only take the briefest of eye contact and Kazu would suddenly see the woman of his dreams in the place where Shigeki had previously been standing, focus shifting away from the fight. She would begin to walk towards him, cooing, “Kazu…Come play with me…You’re so strong...” and the likes. If he got caught in this is would distract him enough to possibly create another opening for Satoshi. Shigeki would then thirdly run within five meters of the Golem, turning the ground beneath its feet to mud in an attempt to trip it up and make it fall prone. The only problem with this was the fact that he was going to be running much closer to the Golem, and to Kazu than he wanted to. He also didn’t notice that he was running into a cloud of smoke, which became worse when he felt a burning hit his arm and chest as he was hit by the thin sheet of lava, letting out a small cry of pain but still intending to see his plan through. He stared his Tsuchikage and his lava creation in the face right now, completely at their mercy if the genjutsu and mud trick hadn’t worked. He was completely out of his position when he saw something else that was moving towards Kazu at an alarming rate.

He briefly glanced over to Satoshi, shocked at what he was seeing as several bubbles of lava had spewed forth from his mouth and were making their way towards the Tsuchikage, the attack being surprising to the young kanetsu, who had never before seen such a thing. He remembered Kazu telling him before the match that Satoshi had a unique style of using lava bubbles but this was the first time he had ever seen anything like it. The technique truly amazed him and made him with to come up with his own unique lava style as well, before realising that he technically had. He had done what no Kanetsu before him had done and he had learned Genjutsu, adding his lava element to the genjutsu to make it his own unique brand of illusion. He brought his arms up in front of his face, in a defensive boxing stance he had learned from his mother, his legs a little closer together than they probably should have been as he was not a fighter and didn’t know what he was doing. He hoped Kazu would go easy on him…

As the battle of the Kanetsu began to draw closer to the end, Kazu had fully become aware of his fellow Kanetsu's intentions of keeping him immobile as his Taijutsu would mean certain death. Even though Kazu had already mentioned that they were to protect themselves or else death was imminent, a slight amount of concern would flicker across his conscious. Am i taking this too far? Will they truly survive this next attack of mine? As much as he was impressed with his sibling shinobi, the mild feeling that they were to die if he struck them with his yoton covered arms would begin to lower his judgement on whether he should execute his final plan of attack. The Tsuchikage would keep his crimson gaze focussed on the two before him as they began to dodge his blanket of lava (melting apparition), but he knew too well that Shigeki would find it hard to dodge whilst Satoshi would most likely manage whilst coming up with a quick counter. The leg's of the Tsuchikage would slowly bend allowing his centre of gravity to lower with his body, standing side by side with his earth golem the head of the clan would begin to slowly bring his elbows back in preparation for his next assault. As the blanket of lava struck the ground an intense layer of smoke will fill the air of the peak of Itami mountain, a light voice would be hear from his left as Satoshi began to make an appearance. Maybe a genjutsu again? Or a simple distraction? Either way the Tsuchikage had to act accordingly. He couldn't just look away to avoid a possible distraction but the feeling that he would soon fall prey to a swift attack from his unguarded sides would most likely give him a bad reputation.

Without a moment's notice the earth would soon begin to loosen, gaining a moist texture before manipulating into mud, the Tsuchikage's body would stay stationary allowing his fellow Kanetsu's jutsu to hinder him as he could keep his balance if he did not move. But this gesture would only be met by two similtaneous acts of offense as bubbles of lava would expel from Satoshi's lips whilst a girl would slowly make her way toward Kazu. Having a woman as beautiful as the one affront him and appear out of no where was utter pointless thus the jutsu was clearly a genjutsu. But his infatuation for a short, blonde, green eyed female would begin to take it's toll as his body would remain poised in his crouched position. Is this a genjutsu into my subconscious? And why does this girl look so familiar? His thought's would become completely focussed on the woman illusion before him allowing the bubbles of lava that had previously been expelled by his Kanetsu comrade had come to close to him to dodge completely. His mind would snap back to reality whilst he began to regain his mental stature. His body would jerk vigorously to his left (in the direction of the golem) but with completely forgetting about his footing complication his legs would swiftly slip allowing a single bubble to collide with his arm which thankfully due to his yoton covered arms would disallow any damage. A swift grin would appear on the Tsuchikages face as the woman before him began to vanish. It had seemed pain had truly triumphed over the jutsu thus allowing his body to snap back to reality.

His left hand would grab the golem to his side before hoisting his body atop his earth humanoid. In a swift manner his legs would kick off the golem, thrusting his body upward allowing the frontal assault his fellow Kanetsu had began would only damage the golem itself thus allowing his body to leap 5 meters atop Satoshi. A fast silouette would flicker to his left, allowing his crimson hued lenses to visualise his opponents, only to notice with a 80% accuracy that a visual clone had been created by Shigeki which would slowly pass. Completely ignoring the academy jutsu his rip out before him at an alarming speed and whilst his airborne speed itself was quite extreme in itself. His body would hopefully be masked by the smoke screen that was created by his jutsu thus allowing his body to descend affront Satoshi before extending his arm outward stopping only a few inches from his face.

A long silence would follow after his run before his body would swiftly untense, allowing his body to relax. "Satoshi, and Shigeki. I'm proud of you both. You truly have completely destroyed my expectations. But this only means more work." His hand would slowly drift back to his side before beginning to speak out once more. "I'll be going to Konoha very soon. And i need you two to protect the village whilst i'm gone. The Kanetsu clan will be taking full charge of the village while i'm gone so your both going to have to step your game up and join our claim." A gentle breeze would push force against the Tsuchikage's body allowing his golden follicles to wave upward. His crimson gaze would be completely set on Satoshi whilst his body would face Shigeki.

As the Kage stood strong against the assault that was directed at him, Satsohi eyed his every move. Smoke rose off the ground as lava slapped the rock that was below it. As Satoshi's eyes squinched and his eyebrows furrowed, he saw the Kage being insnared not only in the doton jutsu of his, but a genjutsu of his teammates as well. Satoshi grinned with his attacks rained upon the Golem and the Kage. He was doing quite well for someone of his rank. Especially considering his opponent was a Kage. He snapped back to reality as he saw the Kage move. How he got out of the jutsu or came out of the combo was beyond Sato. The speed at which the Kage moved only amplified the fact that he was still leagues ahead of Sato. Before Satoshi knew it, the man he was sparring with had him at checkmate with a lava covered fist only inches away from his face. The man started to speak and compliment the duo on their abilities. Satoshi could only agree that they had surpassed expectations.

"You can count on us, Lord Kazu." Satoshi said firmly as he understood what the man was asking of them. He knew that Kazu would not ask them to guard the village if he did not believe they could. While Satoshi knew he was strong, he also had some ways to go. He nodded with respect as he looked to see Shigeki's reaction. The boy had impressed not only the Kage, but Satoshi as well. It was now time to head out, and so he smiled and waved at both of them. "I have some stuff to do, so i'm gonna go ahead and go. See ya!" He nodded as he looked to both of them. He then disappeared into a cloud of smoke.
