Nagare and Horui sat in a tall tree, watching the sunlight beam down on the village. It was bright today, and the sky was painted with wispy clouds here and there. Horui had decided to come here, as they had nothing special planned today, and he wanted to see some action. The best place to get action, of course, was the Akako Dojo, only because the kenjutsu users here were the best of the best. Observing through the dojo windows, they watched tall men in samurai uniforms fight vicious battles with their blades, determined and ready. A very amusing time for both of them. Nagare was more detached, and was thinking about other things while he watched the men and their blades clash.

~~~Lazy Days~~~
Akane would be walking down the road, stepping in locked formation down the road, she would have had a very serious air about her, if it was not for the bright smile on her face, this was her first day off in a long time, and she was going to spend it wisely while having fun at the same time. She had it all planned out, she was going to visit the dojo and watch the samurai spar, and when the floor was cleared out she was going to use it to set up and practice her archery, not that she felt she needed it, it was just a thrill each time she got a bulls eye, hitting arrow after arrow until she felt the strain of her chakra system, then she would go home.
Akane wore a button up shirt and black dress pants, loose enough fitting to not restrict her movement but still making her look pleasing, her hair done up in twin-tails, parting her hair away from her face in such a way that they seemed to look like a bird's wings. As she walked into the dojo she would see the two boys, unsure of who they where, as she had not really had time to talk to other graduates of the academy for a while, and he most likely was a class ahead of her anyway, Akane would give them both a kind smile, waving at them as she passed, going to sit down in a seat nearby, even though she was there to practice archery, no one could tell that by looking at her, she would seem quite unprepared actually, other than her cowl showing off her headband over the top of her head, she would have no shinobi gear on her.
Nagare and Horui both noticed as a girl they had never seen before neared the dojo. She was quite beautiful, simply put, although her expression was solemn. She looked back up at them, and they remained silent for a moment. Nagare examined her closely; the way she walked was confident, and her clothing read casual, although her intents were most likely that of training. Why else would someone come to the dojo? Nonetheless, Nagare jumped down from the tree and greeted her.
"Hello. I don't believe we've met before. I'm Nagare, and up there in the tree is Horui." Horui gave a wave as Nagare introduced him. He then went back to watching to samurai practice. Nagare smirked and looked back at the girl. "And may I ask your name?"
Akane would smile at the two of them, waving at them both, her face lighting up when he would come down from the tree to greet her, putting her hand out to meet his, gripping it as firmly as she could, considering her hand was tempered to hold a bow than a boy. She would look up and see the other one as well, using her other hand to wave at him. She liked the two of them, they seemed polite, the boy talking was a little cocky but that was just a first impression, and Akane would use the principle of charity to assume that he was doing it to be friendly.
As he would ask for her name Akane would keep smiling, realizing that he was expecting her to say something her eyes would widen slightly, laughing a bit as she shook her head, motioning to her throat, most specifically where her voice box would be. Doing her best to indicate that she would not and in fact, could not speak. After doing so she would take out a small note, showing it to the boy, on it having her first and surname, hoping that would be enough to feed his curiosity, but prepared to do what she could to explain more if the boy asked more questions.
Nagare, knowing some slight communication methods with the hands due to Horui's muteness, understood that the girl was mute as she motioned to her throat. She removed a slip of paper, containing the name "Akane Kyodara". Nagare immediately recognized his sensei's clan name. "Ah! The Kyodara, a wonderful clan mastering the art of kyuujutsu. My sensei, Zetsume, is a proud member of said clan. Are you two related, perhaps, Akane?" His eyes were filled with curiousity. He'd never met another Kyodara aside from Zetsume, and was honestly surprised by their amount of skill. He'd been destroyed by Zetsume in battle, after all.
Akane would smile even more widely at him, she was surprised in his ability to adapt to the situation that well, and seemed to light up when he heard about her clan, most of the time t her it seemed that her clan had gone unnoticed, so to meet someone who seemed to hold one of her clan in high regard, it was a good sign for her. When she was asked if she knew the man however, she would frown slightly shaking her head, she had no clue who he was, but her curiosity was sparked now and she would light right back up again, reaching out and grabbing the boy's forearm with both hands girlishly. She could not help but want to meet the boy's sensei, but did not know if that would seem out of place, considering the had just met. So she would allow him to lead the conversation for now, being the only one here that could speak.
Akane gripped Nagare's forearm excitedly, and he smiled back at her. "I'm sure Zetsume would love to meet you, too. He's confident in his clan, although the members are few. Anyway, I see you came here to observe the samurai, or even train, maybe? Are you a student of Kenjutsu as well as Kyuujutsu?" he reached into the chest pocket on his shirt and took out a pen, and reached into his back pocket and removed a grocery list, and flipped the grocery list over, offering them to her as a method of speech.
Akane would look at the list confused for a moment, realizing what he was trying to do and giggling slightly, shaking her head and stepping back, posturing for him to wait a minute, then pointing to a tree, about twenty meters from them, putting her hand out, forming a bow of chakra with no element to demonstrate that she was a Kyuujutsu specialist, but he question remained, what was her second class?
Akane would allow the chakra bow to disappear, it fading as she dropped it from her hand, it seemed to fall off the earth as it would hit the ground, putting her hands up in a had sign for a wind jutsu, smiling devilishly for a moment before inhaling deep, using Wind Release: Stream on the boy, or more specifically, the dirt around the boy, the ground being mostly hard enough to not be kicked up but dust sill flying up in the air around the boy, covering him in a film of dirt unless he avoids. All the while Akane is giggling, proud of her little prank.
Akane was quite giddy, and demonstrated that she was a ninjutsu specialist rather than a kenjutsu specialist by using a wind jutsu to blow dust all over him. He grew serious and his expression sunk, and he struggled to wipe off all of the dirt, but left marks all over his hands and clothes. He looked at her, irritated, but bit his tongue. "Ninjutsu, I see." He perked up a bit, and tried to be nice again. "So you like pranks? You seem young. How old are you, exactly?"
The spar inside of the dojo ended, and an intermission was due while all the samurai took a break. Horui scratched his nose and pushed his glasses up before hopping down from his perch atop the tree, landing next to Nagare and offering his hand to Akane. He overheard that she was mute as well, and was quite glad to meet somebody in the same condition as him. Nagare waited for an answer to his question while Horui waited for a handshake.
Akane would giggle still, calming down a bit when she saw how serious he had gotten from it, but still Akane could not help see it as harmless, so annoyed or not Akane would not really show any sign of guilt. Tilting her head at him when he asked her what her age was, Akane biting her lip a bit and motioning that shewas quite young still being fourteen.
After doing this she would turn to Horui, smiling and waving at him lightly again, as he went for a handshake however Akane would step forward, giving him a friendly hug instead, letting go after a brief moment and going back to where she stood before.
Nagare was surprised to see that she was fourteen. He expected younger. She responded to Horui's hand with a friendly hug, and Horui didn't mind, hugging back softly. He reverted to his original stance next to Nagare, and the two of them stared at the girl for a moment, who seemed cheery and warm. Her personality was indeed refreshing, and Nagare calmed down a little bit more. "Okay, it looks like the Samurai are taking a break. Care to come in with me and sit a moment?"
Horui had already begun walking in, and he turned back at Nagare, telling him telepathically, The Samurai's last match was pretty good. I can't wait to see the next one, on real interior seating rather than that uncomfortable branch.
Nagare turned to Horui and thought, I'll be there in a second, I'm just seeing if Akane would like to come in with us. Horui nodded and continued into the dojo. Nagare turned his attention back to Akane and hoped for a yes, so that he could spend more time with this happy little Genin.
Akane would nod, and start to follow the two of them to the Dojo. She enjoyed the company and hey, if they are offering, why not? Akane would hang close tot he two of them as they made their way inside, almost immediately upon entering he dojio however she would start to go for the far side of the area, where there was left over equipment meant for training, since the ones who would normally use it were taking a break, Akane was going to use this time to train as well as socialize, setting up a training dummy on the far side of the dojo, walking until she was almost the entire build's length away, turning and smiling at the two boys as she formed her Chakra bow with a wink, forming a force arrow as she pulled back on the string. The dojo was almost 50 meters across, so it was quite a distance to hit the human-sized dummy from where she stood, but Akane seemed more than confident she could land the shot.
(Making a note of chakra here, I have used a total of 45 chakra so far this thread, putting me at 105/150)
It seemed that Akane was going to show off her talents and fit a little training in. She drew an arrow similar to the one Nagare and Horui remember Zetsume using in training, and aimed at a faraway dummy. Nagare had no doubt she would land the blow; she was a Kyodara, after all. Their depth perception, aim, and overall skill in archery was legendary. Legendary in Kumo, at least; he wasn't so sure about other villages. Horui watched with an amused smile to see this girl's technical abilities. By the looks of it, she had potential. Maybe Nagare, Horui, and Zetsume could all help her train sometime to expand on this potential. They shared their thoughts silently and played with this idea, waiting for her to launch her arrow.
Akane would narrow her eyes down the arrow slightly, staring down the dummy, a slight smiling spreading across her face now as she sent the arrow out, the arrow flying though the air and hitting the dummy square in the chest, if it was a real person, they would have the wind knocked out of him. But since this was just a dummy it would prop itself straight back up, ready for more punishment. Akane laughing slightly as it's entire bod hunched back and forth.
After a few more shots, all landing of course, Akane would walk back to the two of them sitting in silence, Akane would smile between the two of he slightly sweating from the excursion but not terribly. Sitting down across from the.
She landed every arrow she shot at the dummy. Nagare and Horui expected no less. She nonchalantly strolled back to the seating, and sat down between Nagare and Horui. She was breathing hard, but hadn't worked herself up too much. An effortless application of kyuujutsu, indeed. Nagare urged to show off his own skills to her, he wanted to battle her, but he repressed the urge as the next match between the Samurai started. Their blades clashed wildly, much faster than the last fight, and their two wills were as sharp as the katanas in their hands. Horui thought for a moment. Nagare, we should learn Kenjustu. Or maybe Taijutsu. We have absolutely no physical skills whatsoever, and that needs to change.
I agree, but for now I'm content just watching. We'll worry about training later.
He sat entranced by the swordfighting. Finally, the match ended, and the two Samurai took separate paths to the rest of their clan. Another intermission began, and Horui took a piece of paper and a pen. He scribbled the words, "Anytime you'd like to train with us, feel free to find us" on the paper, and handed it to Akane. He turned his attention to Nagare and they began to speak telepathically while she read the note.
Akane took the note up in her hand, smiling at it widely and placing it on the table, nodding to the both of them. She was very glad that someone would want to train with her and she felt the need to have a sensei put her on the right path to reach her goals, as that would be a much better way to train than what she was doing to train now.
She would turn her head with them the to watch the fight, the two where at it so skilfully it was more of a dance to watch than a fit, but like most fights with the sword, it lasted less than a minute, without the application of chakra like the shinobi have, there was no real way to survive or dodge an attack that was otherwise sure to land, one of the many things that set apart even her as a genin from the two samurai. Not that she felt she stood much of a chance against them in their own art, of course. As the two went to take a second break she would turn to the two boys again, smiling at them as she fiddled her hands together in her lap.
With their message to Akane received well, according to the smile on her face, Nagare and Horui nodded at each other and stood up. Nagare spoke, calmly saying "We're going to be going, now. We have to head to the Rice Paddies on the outskirts of Kumo, for private reasons. We'll see you around, Akane, it was nice meeting you." They turned and left the quaint dojo, contemplating how to train with Akane in the future, and what squad she may be put in, and whether or not Nagare would be a special jounin by the time she was put in one. Maybe he could be her official sensei. Only time would tell.
Akane would look up, nodding slightly to the two of them as they would getup to leave, already she found that she could not wait to see them again, next to perhaps in a situation where they could train together. Akane would wave goodbye to them while they still where looking in her direction, then as they left would stay for a short time later, watching the next round before she would leave.
