Kazu

Kazu

D-rank
The incoming tornado made it's way to Iwagakure, bombarding through the village yet being controlled movement wise by shinobi trying to expel the tornado. It was a perfect idea for Kazu to choose to work at the Library, not only for it being safe but for his curiosity of books. The library was filled with historic monuments and files that contained information countries would fight over. Making his way to the front counter, the hooded crimson eyed genin would introduce himself to the librarian seated at the front desk. "Hey there, I'm here for the D rank mission here." The librarian lady would smile before introducing herself. "The name Shayla, let's skip the formalities and get right to business." Kazu would immediately like the lady, Kazu didn't care for sheer pleasures and cheerful amusement such as meaningless speech. "You'll be shelving and sorting the books from A-K. It would be awesome if you were to do the whole library but the last genin who took the job got from A-C." Guiding the young genin to the sections it had seemed he lady had her hands tied down with other work. "The pile of books you see on the floor is what you have to sort, don't forget alphabetical order and subject, you'll mainly be focused on history, i guess I'll leave you to it."

Kazu looked at the ground as a pile of books sat there practically screaming the words 'Clean Me!' It wouldn't be long until Kazu felt the urge to stuff down candy, procrastinating a few minutes prior him starting work. The crimson eyed genin would begin his sorting, taking a few steps back and diving into the pile of books. Swimming in an ocean of books, his hands would search with a mind of their own pulling a book each. Coming up from the pile for some air, Kazu would read the labels of the books. "Tales of a Gutsy Ninja," and "The Third Great Shinobi War." Two titles that enthralled the world, one in particular about a shinobi from konoha based off some ninja called... well whatever his name is. Immediately Kazu would chuck them into genres and continue sorting through the books, picking apart different colored books to different shapes, it hadn't been 20 minutes till he had picked up his pace and finished A-B. He had found the knack to doing it. Pulling books off the pile and placing them on the shelf, as easy as it sounded finding the exact position in alphabetical order was a harder task than you think. An hour would pass and Kazu had reached the letter J, doing the letters between in what you could say record time, locating books and reading the titles, he even read the first chapters of some, skimming through them to see if they showed any interest. It wouldn't be long until Kazu reached the letter O finding books about mythical creature's called the 'bijuu,' seeing ancient jutsu's that could terrorize a village. There was even a book about the founder of ninjutsu 'The Sage of the Six Paths.' All these books intriguing the tiny mind of Kazu's, which he'd remember to look into further on his spare time.

Another 2 hours had past and Kazu was up to the letter Y, it had seemed 30% of the books belonged to the T section. Kazu searching through the books would be interrupted by the lady librarian, and astonished as she was to find Kazu at the letter Y and the history part of the library spotless. "You've done a great job, you can take the rest of the day off, thanks your help." Kazu would look at the librarian blankly. He didn't want to leave. Information based on the past was so intriguing. "It's okay, I should finish up in the next 5 minutes." He'd smile as he dove back into a tiny pile of books, leaving the next 5 minutes to sort the last letter and taking off back to the secretary.
