Alrighty then! It seemed about the time to get the show on the road! Kenta had been studying his targets profile last night, at least, what he was allowed to gain access too which wasn't a lot since he was still a Chuunin and they don't really get as much as they can hope for. Sighing, he rubbed the back of his neck and picked up his black coat, slinging it over his shoulder before opening his front door. Best make it to the rendezvous point assigned to him. Apparently he was to meet two other ninja there to assist him on the mission. Strange, B-Ranks are that tough? Shrugging he closed and locked the door behind him as he left for the village gates.

"Hmm...I wonder where these two were? More importantly, I wonder what rank they are? Better not become a burden to them..." He said to himself, feeling slightly discouraged at the end of the sentence. His golden eyes scanned his surroundings, trying to see who was coming his way other than the few odd merchant band here and there. It felt like it was going to be a slow day with the sun out and several clouds just rolling on by. If he could get this done and dusted, he could get home to get lunch without missing his favorite TV program. Scratching his head, he took out his orange cap from his coat pocket and fixed it onto his head before fitting into his slim fitted coat.

"Damn...I forgot my gloves..." He said in frustration, smoke fuming from both his ears and nostrils, face turning red. Sure they were just gloves but...they were his gloves and he liked them. It didn't feel right wearing his coat and not having his gloves on him...beginning to wonder where in his house he had left them.

Somethings never changed. Kusa thought to himself as he sat up his bed thinking about why he was named after 'Grass'. Well, he could have his name changed but he thought it'd be an insult to his dead mother. He sat for awhile, wondering what it would be like waking to up to his mother's voice. How it would feel like if ever she scolded him for being the lazy kid he was today. Even though he acted as if it was nothing, he is actually suffering that pain of wandering and loneliness. Then again, his sister handed him a letter that required him to go on a mission with two others with him. He had to get up or his companions might leave.

Another mission today for Kusa. Having prepared for the mission, he exited his room and as usual took the bread his sister would always prepare every morning. "I'm heading out!" Kusa opened the door and walked heading to the village gates. He strolled down thinking about what his companions would be like, he hoped the two of them were girls, or at least one would be better. But then it might turn into a love triangle! Kusa brushed away the thought, and decided not to think ahead since it might be two guys. He wouldn't want to start over that familiar feeling when he first met Xiahou, whom he thought was a girl because of his name.

After he arrived, he saw a guy standing with an orange cap sitting on his head like an orange. Since it was kind of round from afar. He approached the guy and put up a morning smile, "Ah, it seems like I'm not too late." Kusa scratched his head and looked at the guy from head to toe. He seemed familiar, Kusa might have seen him around a few times. Judging by the look of this guy's eyes, Kusa knew that this guy was a more experienced shinobi than him. Probably a Chuunin who is on his way to becoming Sp. Jounin. And he wore a coat which was cool. "I'm Sarutobi Kusa. A Genin. Nice to meet you."

Hoisting the heavy box of fruit onto the stand, Xiahou let out an audible sigh as he released the container of oranges. He had told Mrs. Mageko to pour the oranges into a sack at the end of the day and then back into the box in the morning but the old woman never listened. Her late husband had done all the heavy lifting for her and Xiahou supposed that she wanted to keep that alive as best she could, the way he used to do things.

"There you go, Mrs. Mageko," Xiahou said cheerily, smiling at the woman and dusting off his hands by clapping them together a couple of times, "You're all set,"

Bowing slightly, the woman would reach out with a few Ryo in hand, no more than five or ten, and hand it to the young Shinobi as she did every morning. Locking her gaze with Xiahou's, she would smile warmly.

"You've been such a helpful boy these past few weeks, Xiahou, I'll see you again tomorrow,"

"Of course, Mrs. Mageko," Xiahou replied with a bow before turning to head to his real task for the day.

Once again, Xiahou had received a summons to a mission to help out some of the Konoha ninja with a real mission, this time hunting down someone who needed to be taken care of. Xiahou was beginning to think that someone in the clerk's office had been asked to test his loyalty to Konoha and was sending him on missions as a subtle way of getting him to prove himself. In truth, it mattered little, Xiahou was grateful for the chance to flex his muscles in a little fighting. Between helping out around the village, of course.

Arriving at the meeting spot his eyes came upon two other ninja. One new, and one he recognized. Xiahou hadn't seen Kusa since the other day at the docks, but, despite their awkward meeting, he felt the Genin had performed well when they'd worked together and he was glad to be working with a familiar face. Along side Kusa was a new face, a respectable looking ninja with a coat and hat who looked a relaxed. The demeanour of the new Ninja was something which made Xiahou feel a little at home, no-one was over thinking this. It seemed they were all focused and ready.

Stepping into the field of view of the two Shinobi. Xiahou would stand confidently before them, nodding to Kusa and extending his hand to Kenta to shake.

"Xiahou U--," Pause "Xiahou Yan," Xiahou would say calmly "Pleased to meet you,"

He let out a sigh, his golden eyes turning into a more...dazed look before being interrupted by a voice to his right. The fuck? Some random? HIs gaze returned to it's former state and trailed to the side, seeing the face of a genin. A genin? Really? For a B-Ranked mission? Kenta began to doubt the administration offices intellectual range. Least he'd have someone familiar in a way since the child was a Sarutobi, same as Kenta himself. He sighed and stretched out arms before relaxing slightly as he leaned against the shop wall behind him.

"Hmm. My name is Kenta Sarutobi, most call me Kenny as a nickname so call me either. Whichever suits you most." He said, his voice trailing off at the end as he let out a prolonged yawn before hearing yet another voice. Huh? Who the hell was this now!? Opening his eyes at the end of the yawn, he noticed yet another person. A genin from the feel of his chakra surge. Hmm...two genin rival the strength of a chuunin if used correctly with tactic. It seemed fitting a bit more now.

"Xiahou U--," A pause...? Kenta's expression turned from bored and tired to slightly confused. His name. He hadn't heard of no Yan clan in the land of fire. Strange little child but he had no choice but to follow the Admin office demands and rules. Looked like he had these two genin as a team. He sighed...fabulous. Pushing off of the wall, he brushed off his shoulder, powder from the crumbling wall had fell and latched onto his when he leaned up to it. He stared at the two genin. Alrighty then...lets see what he had to work with. Lets start with the Sarutobi child.

He sure does like the colour green. Like...really. His eyes are green, his clothing is green, for god's sake, his name means grass! Rather sad, parents must have been on something while his mother shat him out. Urg, the very thought of childbirth made him feel a little sick as he brought some up before swallowing it back down, shuddering. Anyway, there was nothing strikingly OUT about him. Hmm, bummer. Kenny wanted to figure him out before they had to leave on their mission. Now onto the little one.

He was rather elegantly dressed. Definitely to make an impression or just simply because he can. His dull blue eyes stood out among his white hair and he was rather tall for a benin so maybe he was around Kenta's age cause if he was younger then him, there was going to be so much rage to be had and...something irked him about this child. When he went to mention his name he had started, stopped and then started all over...hiding something was obvious and maybe he knew this too but knowing Kenta, he couldn't give to flying fucks so instead he shrugged and turned his back to them, walking towards the gates.

"Name's Kenta Sarutobi but call me Kenny. Prepare yourself cause in the real world, you have to protect yourselves." he said before taking out two kunai knives and throwing them behind him, intended for the two to use as a defence or offence. It was a B-Rank so they were going to need one. Every ninja did. Time for them to make a get go, they were already behind schedule or at least, Kenta's schedule.

After Kusa introduced himself to the guy, it took awhile for the shinobi to say something. Kusa tilted his head as he watched the guy, it seemed like he was rummaging through his thoughts. Well, maybe he was trying to deduce why a Genin was sent out to help him, maybe?

A Sarutobi. Huh. Just like Kusa, a distant relative for sure since they shared the same surname. Kusa smiled at the guy and while he was about to say something about Kenta being a Sarutobi, a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts and caused Kusa to turn around...to a familiar looking tall figure. It was his old pal, Xiahou. Or more like a new pal. Either way, Kusa nodded back at the silent man Xiahou as he introduced himself to Kenta. Being there, he couldn't help but notice when Xiahou stammered an 'U' before proceeding to 'Yan'. Kusa glanced at Xiahou, squinting his eyes as he felt something really odd. Since letter 'U' was like four letters away from 'Y'. And there was always something about Xiahou's mysterious demeanor that always had him thinking, then again, it probably has to deal with the guy's past. Kusa brushed his thoughts aside, and sensing that Kenta was also lost in thought probably for the same reason, he broke out into a half-hearted chuckle at Xiahou, "Ahaha. Mr. Yan, I suppose you forgot to introduce your surname to me back at the docks." Kusa continued his chuckle for a little while before being stopped by Kenta's speech about preparing themselves for the real world. Preparing. Oh, snap. He forgot to bring some bread! He frowned at the thought and decided to shut up about it. Kenta then threw two kunais for them to have. Kusa, with a sleight of his hand, immediately locked the kunai into his closed palms. He looked at it and felt its surge of authority as the primary weapon for a shinobi.

"Thanks."

Old habits die hard, they say. Xiahou was kicking himself a little for his slip up, the last thing he needed around here was attention for his lineage. After all, the Uchiha had a rocky history with Konoha. From the formation of the village itself to some of the most dangerous war criminals in the history of the world. It was for this reason that Xiahou had already forsaken that history of suffering and pain.

It was obvious that he had aroused a little suspicion in the Chuunin, and perhaps some in Kusa as well. He didn't normally screw up like that, but he felt the mess up was subtle enough that it wouldn't lead to questioning. And, as the Chuunin began to speak, it seemed that it wasn't raising any questions. Instead, Xiahou narrowed his eyes for another reason at Kenny's words.

For some reason Xiahou felt a little annoyed by the Chuunin's speech about preparing for the real world. Somehow Xiahou felt that even most of the Jounin of the villages didn't have any idea about the real world. In fact, Xiahou would almost put money on it. The real world was something that was hidden very well. Xiahou grimaced visually but decided not to open his mouth to protest the sheer ignorance of assuming his experience.

Following his little spiel about the real world, Kenny produced two Kunai from behind his back and tossed them, one each, to Kusa and he respectively.

Snapping his hand outwards and grabbing the handle of the knife in his hands, Xiahou would roll it around once in his palm to hold the blade forwards, similar to the way someone would hold a sword. He examined it a little before slipping the weapon into his sleeve and looking at Kenny.

"Truth be told I prefer something a little bigger," Pause "Though what's the point of either if you can't kill a man with your bare hands," Xiahou said coldly, transfixing his gaze on the Chuunin.

"We should go,"

[Sorry it took so long to get into this, some problems and whatnot at home so I'm just gonna get this over and done with alone.]

Walking out of the village gates, Kenta sighed as he scanned his surroundings with his eyes. The village that the suspect is not meant to be too far away from this very location and with that in mind, he simply rubbed the back of his neck and sighed once again as his golden eyes blinked at the road ahead of him. This was most likely going to be a long journey, problem is, he had no food so he would probably have to stop by at a village on the way there or hunt for his food. Granted it wasn't THAT long a journey but he hadn't had breakfast that morning so it was only matter of time till his stomach got the better of him. Shaking his head he had decided that it was probably best to get a move on the now and to not burn daylight, easier to get the job done in the day than it would be if it was at night. Taking a step forward out of the gates, he took a deep breath before charging head on into the forest in front of him, ducking and vaulting over and under stems of trees, logs and the brush of the bushes around him. It'd be a good while till he reached his destination so if he paced himself just right, he could preserve a bit of his energy, keeping him on his toes for when he found the person that he was after. A solo B-Rank mission, something that might prove of a challenge since he was going to have to fight someone of equal rank.

Now, if he had remembered correctly, he was to meet with his informant, Mr.Fett. He hadn't gotten the full details back at the administration offices so it was probably best that he had to go to Mr.Fett and get it all at once, other than going in blind and chancing his very life which would not have been a very wise choice if done. There was a village just ahead of him but not the one where the suspect was supposed to be. Hopefully she wasn't at least, otherwise it would prove to be bad for him. Reaching the village, he stopped at the entrance of the village, looking at it closely. Hmm...seemed to look alright and there were people around the village and inside it so at least it was populated. That was always a positive. Walking in on through the gates, he noticed a man wearing rather odd like clothing. Probably Mr.Fett. Walking up to him, the man simply nodded and offered up a small rice ball to Kenta.
"It's safe to eat. Once you've eaten it, you can capture Aki in the bar. She's causing quite the scene." He said, his deep voice trailing off at the end as he walked off into the streets and out of sight. A man of few words maybe or just simply wanting this business over and done with? Who knows, all he knew is that his target was none more than several feet away in a bar. Chowing down the rice ball, he wiped his mouth with his coat sleeve and made way for the bar, pushing the door open.

Upon entering the bar, the floor boards creaking as Kenta's weight was added to the already twenty men that were arguing amongst each other, bottles and mugs flew in the air from one end of the room to the other. Hmm. Why was this happening exactly? Most likely just another day in a bar with burly men...hold on...something or...someone seemed to stand out more than they should have. Aki Sato. Target confirmed. Wit one flick of his kunai, he charged on through the crowd, jumping over men here and there, he launched an attack for the girl who quickly guarded against it with her blade. Sharp. Her facial expression was a mix of confusion and shock. Had she not expected that? Don't play dumb you ignorant girl! Prepare to be brought to justice! Aki quickly regained her sense of self and swung her blade forward, repelling Kenta off the blade and into the air, giving her time to gather herself fully. The room had now fallen silent as the two ninja stared at each other. Remaining on the wall, Kenta narrowed his eyes at the girl before opening his mouth to her.

"Aki Sato, former Konohagakure ninja. I am Kenta Sarutobi, hired to bring you back dead or alive. Justice will be brought to you!" He called to her, readying his kunai once more before shuffling is feet apart. The girl simply smiled and cocked her hip to the left, placing her left hand on her hip before swinging her blade around in a circle. "Heh, as if a pint sized little shit like you is going to bring me to the ground." She smiled, pointing her blade at Kenta's face. She was taunting him. He shook his head and remained normal, his previous stance being kept the whole time before he began to channel his chakra to his lungs. It was going to be a pain in the ass battler no doubt, especially with all these people in the surrounding area. If he could get her out of the building then he could take her out with one attack but how...there weren't any windows and the chances that she would follow him outside were slim. He grunted before jumping off the wall and straight to her, his blade meeting hers before she flicked him off of it and charging another attack for him. He had no choice but to chance it.

She lunged for him while he brought up his blade to guard against the attack, her body upright whilst his remained up side down as she smacked him back and into the walls of the building, cracking slightly from the force. Damn...was she using some sort of enhancement jutsu? He couldn't tell. Falling from the wall, he landed on his feet after turning his body the right way round. She wasn't around anyone so it seemed like the right time. He charged once more, deflecting her attacks when she attacked, pushing her back with all his might before releasing a ball of piercing winds from his mouth as she brought down her blade, as to counter attack her and sending her into the wall before releasing two more which had then sent her through the wall and out side. Yes! She skidded across the ground and tried to regain her footing before being barraged by several more, her blade being smacked from her hand as she lay there, twitching but conscious of what had happened.
"You...bastard...I can't believe...urgh..." She moaned, passing out at the end. Finally...to go home and straight to bed...well...maybe dinner and then bed.
