Sero rose from his desk grabbing his Scythe. He had sent Kei off on a mission with her squad. So they would be kept busy out of the city while he was gone. Otto was being left in charge of keeping the guard in his absence. Still when his hand closed around the cold metal he felt an odd sense of purpose. The Iron country was where he had been summoned for this. It would be like the history books. Really the idea of it excited him. He could attend and observe the other Kage and see what a Kage was meant to be like. His own role models hadn't been around much or had just plain been full of themselves. So how he led his nation was mainly based off of knowledge and history books. It was turning into a game of politics and he was yet to turn 18.

Still he gripped the scythe in the middle of the staff and began to walk with it as a walking stick. Two Jounin joined him one his left and his right matching his pace as he exited the office. Both had packed provisions and weapons enough to support the three of them during the travels. Still he was wary about who he took with him. Both had an extensive record of loyalty and a long mission list. Trained to kill on command. There was a reason he was bringing these two instead of Otto. He knew Otto wasn't one to be ordered around and if tempers flared he didn't need swords drawn. Secondly he needed some one here he knew had power to keep the village safe. The outlaw that was responsible for the last burning had never been caught after all.

Another was Kei. He had recently found out she was with child so he had sent her out on a simple mission with her squad. He could not risk her at the summit but delivering gifts to the other countries could improve Kiri's standings. They needed it desperately and he could trust Kei with that...That and while the Kage where busy he could try to get his Kaguya back before anyone noticed. He looks over his shoulder with those cold eyes as he exits the gate before his mind returned to the task at hand. He was on the way to the summit early. But it would all be handled in due time. And if at all possible he would try and get trade routes with every country. His hand tightens on his weapon as he frowns...this was all assuming nothing bad happened at the summit.

Still Sero had been walking down the street for some time. The silent trio seemed tireless. They hadn't even managed to make it out of Kiri's wet lands before some pirate and his crew had been foolish enough to ambush him. fifteen men where left flayed out on the road on the way from Kiri to the Iron nation. The smell of burning meat left behind where they had torched the torn apart bodies where they fell. Not a speck of blood was on any of the three of them. Still Sero's dull grey eyes lacked the excitement of such a fresh kill. Instead his eyes where on the country they where entering now. The lands climate had changed and now he felt naked without the mist surrounding him. Within miles of entering the Country a Samurai patrol fell in with them escorting them to the village itself. Where they would be waiting.

Sero had wrapped the Symbol of Kiri as a metal plate over his heart instead of the traditional head band his companions where wearing. The Osada Symbol was printed on the back of his long grey cloak. he looked older then he was with the grey peach fuzz around his chin and the long grey hair on top his head. His bangs hanging down to the side of his eyes. His face was void of expression as his grey eyes took in the details. He found it kind of odd that some one would call a summit right when they where having a change in power with his village. Still his Narrowed eyes observe the Samurai escorting him and his two men. He doubted they where there for his protection. More then likely he was being escorted so they could keep him in line. An amusing idea at least.

He looks up at the place he would be staying while he waited and frowned again. It was a massive building. He certainly hoped none of the other Kage decided to bring it down on his head. A silly thought really. But that might just be part of his nerves. He takes a deep breath and smiles. Before quietly letting himself be escorted to his room.
