Kenny

Kenny

D-rank
Seemed about the time to expand on the jutsu database for Kenny. Having only recently begun to pick up on his jutsu expansion, he couldn't exactly stop here; oh no. He couldn't. For some reason, he had a feeling of dread deep within himself up until recently and it did not feel good...and when such feelings came to be, they were usually true. Not wanting to take a chance in it, Kenny trusted his gut and began rummaging around in his bed side drawer, searching for more and more. He had so many jutsu to train that he forgot that he had left himself skint of any money for the next month. He had only about five hundred odd ryo to spend...enough for an S-Rank jutsu or one bowl of Ichiraku's special ramen...

Strangely though, Kenny sided with the whole ramen image but now wasn't the time for food...though...Ichiraku was having a special sale and meal deal on...He thought for a moment, hunger slowly writhing inside his stomach as the process of money spending surged through his mind...ultimately, he decided to just save the money for an occasion. He shrugged an continued to swim his way through socks, boxers and the odd letter or two from distant friends, he eventually grabbed onto a scroll, sealed by a ninjutsu crest. Ah, the ninjutsu crest; such an amazing creation. Only those who possessed the ninjutsu trait could unlock such a scroll. Kenny began to wonder if this applied to all other scrolls in the land or just the ones in Konohagakure...meh, who the hell cares.

He pressed his finger against it, a faint blue glow began to shine beneath his finger as he lifted his finger away. The scroll then unwrapped itself and revealed it's contents. Kenta was learning...Tatsumaki Yurasu. Ah, the wind release slash. So basically, all Kenta needed to do was cover his hand in fuuton and swish it about in front of his dome and that's that. Meh, this would most likely turn out to be a walk in the park...maybe. Nyah, fuck it; let's face it: Kenta was gonna get crushed by a tree or some shit. Fantastic.

He left his house, slinging his black overcoat over his left shoulder with grace and putting on his orange cap before jumping over his balcony to the streets below; the dust parting and making flight as he landed and crouched to the ground. His golden eyes glistened as the suns warm rays shone upon the village before being shrouded in a dark shadow from the overhead clouds, lazily crawling through the skies. Getting up, stretched out and snugly dragging his coat on, not sliding his arms through the arms of the coat; just resting it on both shoulders as it hung down his back and gently flapped in the wind. Time to hit the road. The day was good so he might as well use it to his advantage. Kenta left the alleyway and slipped into the crowd of village folk.

Moments later of squeezing between chubby people and annoying children, Kenta reached the gates and went through them without even waving to the guards, the look on their faces didn't say much but the one that Kenta was friends with more confused than the other. To be honest, the guy did get drunk and accidentally smash Kenta's front window earlier that night so he was still pretty pissed...the guy however remembered only having a hangover. Nyeh, oh well then. It was time to get this show on the road now.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Boop.

“God damn it! I can't find a chocobo...where did Biggs say they could be found again?” He said to himself as he began to think over the past encounters he had with Biggs...Hold on...I think I forgot to mention that Kenny was playing a game on his gameboy...yeah so...yeah. Anywho, in frustration; Kenny slammed his thumb into the device and slid it into his back pocket. Being taunted by Artimecion in the game only further angered Kenta's game rage. Oh how Kenta had terrible game rage...bouncing the remote controllers off walls, objects, through windows and people...Not much angered him but when it did...shit hit the fan.

Back to the matter at hand, he began to examine his surroundings like he usually did; but the amount of times he'd been here...you'd think he'd have had the place burned into his feeble little brain but no...Kenny had the attention span of fish. A goldfish? Guppy? Nyeh, who cared? Certainly not Kenta since his attention was now fixated on something more minute. A rabbit, just hopping about without a care in the world. This gave Kenta an idea; to use the poor creature as target practise. Keep in mind though that Kenta had no intention of bringing harm to it but if worse came to worse...making a small burial site for it wouldn't be too hard...maybe not emotionally, seeing as though he had never killed a living being before in his life but that was at the back of his mind. Right now he was concentrating on the small little fluff of white.

Okay doke now, time to get going then. Kenta began concentrating his chakra to his hand, envisioning a blade being thrown towards the small creature but missing it by inches in hope to scare the thing away.
“Alright then...lets see how this one plays out.” He whispered to himself, trying not to be spotted by the small rabbit. Last thing he wanted was to bring down the whole forest that protected the village from outsiders. He drew his hand back and began to force out his Fuuton energy in to the already formed chakra, now writhing in between his fingers as it spiked around in his palm.

Sure of his progress made, he threw his hand forward, putting all his strength into releasing a solitary blade of intense winds at the small little woodland creature that stood none but ten meters away. Hopefully this would work and just miss if he threw his arm just right...if not then the trees of the forest were about to be paved in blood. Hopefully it didn't have to come to that. Throwing his arm across the front of him, Kenta released a small blade of wind, travelling rather slowly before erupting randomly, no where near the rabbit that now looked slightly stunned before making off into the brush, never to be seen again. Stomping his foot down in frustration, Kenta began flailing his arms at having scared off the little thing. Now he had to practise on a non moving object...

...that was until he got an idea! If he couldn't find one, why not make one? Question was though; should he make a clone of himself or make a contraption of some sort? He decided to try his hand at making his own from the resources he had before him. Heavily forested area would provide him with bits and bobs here and there such as twigs, water, leafs, mud etc. The mud could act as a glue with the grass, moss and twigs could be stuck together. Seemed like it could work but Kenny wasn't very handsy with things. He preferred to use long ranged weaponry so he wasn't exactly ideal for the whole mano a mano type of stuff. Never hurt in trying though. Clasping his hands together, he rubbed them both firmly together before placing a hand on each side of his hips. Determined to be successful in this he began to get to work.

Hours of work, hours of small cuts from twigs, thorns etc. and it was ready. Or so he thought. He was completely oblivious to the fact that this looked more of an abomination than a creation. It looked like if a Magikarp was in the middle of evolving and you stopped it with the end result of a retard beast that had some qualities of a Gyarados and a Magikarp combined. Yeah, that bad. Anyway, he found some vines near a small pond just south of him and began tying each bit he found together into one long rope; tying it from two trees adjacent from one to the other. Now to figure out how this was going to be moved. A small crank like contraption would really help in this case but nothing here was solid enough to use as a gear nor anything flexible enough to bend into shape of parts...things began to look all for naught as he began to rub the back of his neck before letting out a small sigh of defeat...

Ah the breeze sure did feel nice at that moment...although the rustling of the branches overhead began to get slightly annoying. Hold on...Branches...Wind...Overhead...MOVEMENT!!! Ding ding ding!! The alarm bells began to go off in Kenta's head as he came up with an idea. If he could find some more vines and tie them to the branches overhead, attach them to a small log and tie that to the already formed rope that was placed between the two trees, it would cause the dummy to sway left and right and all Kenny would have to do was wait until it gained a fair bit of momentum. YES! Heh, not so stupid eh? Maybe a smidge but anyway, back to the matter at hand. Time to work. Again. He began to scour the area for more resources but there was nothing...not for at least an hours journey to the west...God damn it. Might as well get it over and done with. He ventured forth in hope to find some vines...and came back with something more useful. An actual rope. And a long one at that! Though lets just say that the local bridge to the outer training grounds wont be as safe as they used to be any more. Not till a certain rope is found but lets not say anything more on the matter.

Getting back to the scene, Kenta began tying the rope overhead from the practise dummy which he had crudely built in hope to improve his accuracy on moving objects as he was not particularly skilled in that area of expertise. Funny since he was more of a long ranged fighter. He had finished tying the knot as best as he could and dropped to the ground below, landing on his feet and crouching down simultaneously to reduce the impact of the landing. Getting up to standing position, his left knee letting out a loud crack as his kneecap popped. (Oh dear god, it felt good but sore at the same time) He positioned himself in front of the dummy none but ten meters away from the target before concentrating his fuuton energy to his hand; shrouding almost completely as it began to take form. It felt right but little hope was held behind it as he flung his hand diagonally forward, releasing a blade of wind but failing just before it touched the target. Progress was being made but slowly. Usually he would have had it by now but the fact that it was a higher rank than he was used too only made it all the more difficult.

Grunting in frustration, he raised his hand once more, all his determination going into the last attempt, he threw his hand down hard; almost throwing himself along with it. Releasing a large blade of wind it did indeed slice through the now in-animate object but continuing it's journey onward and toppling down two trees just behind it, causing a domino effect of the surrounding trees. The surrounding trees that had Kenta trapped into the middle of the havoc. He hadn't thought this far ahead and having just stood there for awhile, processing in the whole situation he knew he had to react fast otherwise this forest was going to be his grave. Not an ending he was planning on having for himself. He twisted his left foot back and launched himself into the air, missing one tree by inches, he created a small ball of wind in the palm of his hand and lobbed it hard to the oncoming tree, shattering it almost completely. He smiled for a brief moment before being smacked by the debris and propelled into the ground with a massive thud. He could feel himself going in and out of conscientiousness but he had to move and with one push from the ground he sprung to his feet and as he did he brought his hand from his waist to over his head, releasing one final gust of wind which sliced through the on coming tree, splitting apart and falling to the sides, leaving him slightly unharmed.

“That...was too close for comfort...” He gasped, holding his head as he slowly blinked his eyes, vision slightly blurry but still. It felt goo to skim through a tough situation and come out alive. He sighed and wobbled his way back to the vision.
