Spoiler:

Today has been eventful so far giving all the things Kizmaru had done so far. From being a security guard to differentiating between fruits that look exactly the same but have different properties and taste. This time he wanted to try something a bit more stimulating. It was a good day to do so too. Kizmaru was wearing his usual attire of a yellow button down shirt with a black tie, dark navy blue dress pants and modified dress shoes that resemble ninja tabis. The sun was out shining brightly and vibrantly with just enough warmth to wearing either short sleeved or long sleeved clothing. He enjoyed days like this and felt like a lot better than normal. he wasn't sure why but it felt like the sun gave him energy to take on more things than he normally could. It was a nice feeling but he knew that wasn't the case. Still, the day aside, he was pretty eager to take on something that was actually considered dangerous and may require him to fight for dear life. Well, he didn't want to struggle too much but he wanted a decent workout. So, he decided to step his game up and go for a C-ranked mission this time around. This was a step up from the usual jobs he'd take but he was itching for something to do as well as better pay. Yeah, it was mainly the pay as he wanted to go and buy some supplies for combat. Maybe some shuriken here, some kunai there. Now then, with the request in mind, Kizmaru had taken the job and was sent to where the monkeys were last spotted. Apparently, they were ruining some kind of orchard wood that adults used for smoking.

The Sarutobi have somehow pushed the high brass of the summoning monkeys off-kilter in their clan leader's absence, leading relations to be less than amicable. The primates need a lesson on unacceptable behavior, or the orchard will be ruined or so he was told. Well, now of that really mattered in the long run, right? At least not Kizmaru anyways. Arriving at the orchard they were last seen at, he could definitely already tell that they were hear since it seems as if they had already tore this place apart. Still, it wasn't the orchard that he was suppose to protect but it was a nice clue on what would happen should they reach the orchard. He was hoping that this would provide more of a clue. Well, nothing he could do about it now. He'd hurry up and head towards his real destination of the orchard that was still around that he was suppose to protect. Upon arriving, Kizmaru immediately searched to see if the orchard had been damaged in any way. After a through, he didn't notice anything that looks damaged or out of the ordinary as far as he could tell. Well, that's good at least. Now, he heard he wasn't taking this job alone and would be expecting company. Well, he wasn't sure who he was getting so his best bet was to wait it out before seeking something he couldn't handle on his own.

"Ashe, we got to do it again, now lets go" as he performed the hand seals while his room at the village was full of mist as he was fortunately in a low cost venue so no one cared what nonsense was going on. His room was full of mist as he kept doing the technique and he looked around and then thought to himself how he could still see where Ashe was.

"Okay, one more time" as he performed the necessary hand seals again and again, over and over until he was just all spent as he fell back on the bed with Ashe next to him. "If only I was more talented in jutsu, right Ashe?" as she just whined and laid her head on his chest as they went to sleep since they needed to be up for the mission tomorrow.

Makoto felt tired as he entered this unknown village only a few days ago with Ashe sitting on his shoulder as he had his over cloak on hiding his various weapons as he yawned a bit sleepily as he finally got to his partner for this strange mission.

After arriving Makoto looked around and noticed someone and approached them since this was the meeting location.

"hi, are we all for this mission?"

As he seemed to have this sleepy lazy look in his eyes as if the life was sucked out of him, he did not manage to finish training his mist concealment technique and was still rather upset about it as he yawned a bit more. Ashe his pet wolf pup was also yawning as she was not even sure what was going on yet as they were up all night in bed perfecting his new jutsu, in order to conceal themselves within the mist only to fail over and over again, this was a disaster as Makoto just sighed before resting his head on top of his pillow last night. It was a hard enough night for them to not complete the jutsu as he began to wonder if he could get a bit of relief by doing this mission to relieve himself of his worries as soon the mission would be underway as Makoto did not want to waste much more time as it was his time to shine or at least his time to react to the future that was Makoto.

Hidden beneath Makoto's over cloak was various equipment from his shield with its hidden tanto blade to his spear which probably stood out attached to his back as it was so long in comparison to his small size and stature.

Leaving the fruit Orchard behind, Taiho contemplated his options before moving forward. He oddly wondered what he would do with himself now that he had finished the first job of the day. The fruits of his labor, no pun intended, now resting in the palm of his hands as he consumed a rather juicy Nectarine in one hand, and held the ryo from the job in the other. He pocketed the money quietly as he walked calmly down the roadway back into town, his thoughts consuming him as he thought back to the match he had concluded just yesterday. The collapsing stage had given him a bit of a spook, the whole set up feeling like it was jerry rigged from the start for one or both of the genin to fail tremendously. He couldn’t fathom why such a set up was allowed in the first place. It didn’t really test either of the two genin that much, if he was honest, it just hindered the process. And his opponent had given up as soon as the floor collapsed, meaning that there was just no way the whole stadium was meant to work well for fights. Of course they could’ve probably fought on the side of the walls, but why bother with that in the end? But in the end it didn’t matter anyway, his opponent got tagged by his jutsu in the end and was forced to retreat or suffer some pretty extreme injuries. He hadn’t known at the time but apparently his opponent had a crushed ribcage and suffered a few punctured organs from taking the shockwave. He didn’t know how the boy had necessarily gotten the injuries considering the move was intended for the legs, but he was grateful that he hadn’t resorted to killing the boy in the fight itself.

Stepping into Konoha proper, he was stopped short by another flyer toting random, the young man dressed up in slacks and overalls looked fairly out of place. The panicked expression on his face however caught Taiho’s attention as he accepted the flyer before arching an eyebrow. The request on the flyer wasn’t much but it was definitely... something. Apparently the Sarutobi’s(?) had lost control over their... summons...? What the hell was a summon? A frown crossed Taiho’s face as he thought over the crazy ninja shit he was given before shrugging and asking directions from the panicked young man. A mission was a mission and he needed the money. He would have to ask Maikumaru later for more information on what the hell was a summon. It would take him another fifteen minutes to arrive in the general area of the orchard. He had no clue of what to expect to be honest, if there were anything like the monkey’s of the Kungu jungles then he was in for a pretty wild ride. Stepping up to Kizmaru and Makoto, he was certain that the three of them could likely handle the situation, though their grouping was a bit unorthodox if he was honest. Hopefully the two would be able to focus so they could knock this out as quickly as possible.

As Kizmaru waited, he contemplated on what he should prepare for the upcoming mission. He had taken his Kunai and his Shuriken but that's really all he had other than his headband. He decided he prepare them by cleaning and sharpening them on a near-by whetstone before putting them neatly and properly into his pouch. As he did this, it seems his first would be partner had arrived. It was a smaller boy than even he was. His hair was black and his eyes were brown and the boy carried a small pup on his shoulder. By the looks of him, it seems like he was here to do the mission that he also signed up for. He had to admit, this guy was kind of small and wondered how he made it this far. Regardless, it was his move to properly greet the boy. Waiting for the kid to arrive, Kizmaru gave a slight awkward wave in his general direction. When the approached, he had asked him a question pertaining to the arrival of all the members. He looked around them briefly before answering to see if the last member of the mission would show up as he was speaking or something like that.

What a surprise it was to see a familiar face. He was being sarcastic obviously but he had already know from a feeling that this other guy would show up. Still, it was a relief to see that he was here. He was a little worried about adventuring with strangers that he knew little to nothing about, despite not really knowing anything about Taiho himself other than they were apart of the same village. Regardless, that's all he had and honestly, that was all he needed to feel somewhat relieved. Nevertheless, he'd keep his guard up at all times. It was time for them to carry out this mission, Kizmaru would greet Taiho with a nod of his head before turning away to scout the area a bit more. As he had seen before, the orchard they were stationed at was unharmed for now menaing, they haven't hit this place just yet. Kizmaru figured that he would try and figure out a course of action they should take. If not only to make traps but maybe combat strategies and coordination. Rumor has it, that even the lowest ranked of the monkeys were equal to Chuunin level.

Knowing this, Kizmaru knew he couldn't really mess around with this one. He had planned on being extra careful and decided to cut his scouting short. After all, he doesn't know anything about the attack patterns of his "allies". He's fought with Taiho before but it was purely Taijutsu. He's never seen him use a weapon or use jutsu. He had to admit that he was good at Taijutsu but he was sure that even he would get overwhelmed by the ninja monkeys if ganged up on. As for the small child, he was completely unsure why he was even here and that was saying something considering Kizmaru's own age. Maybe he was judging him too harshly because of his height and decided to see what they can do in combat. First thing is first, Kizmaru had approached the both of them and asked, "Alright, what are you guys good at and how should we go about handling this..." He wasn't sure when the monkeys would show up for this orchard so he wanted to get this over with ass soon as possible.

Makoto listened as each of them had their say and he then began to reply to the question that Kizmaru asked. When he was asked he felt a sigh build up as he tilted his head to the side his hair falling to that side as he spoke up a bit. "I am good at jutsu, and weapons and wolf...", as Ashe the small wolf pup popped her head out from the inside of his hooded over cloak as she let out a dog like bark as he sighed, he had a slight ringing in his ears from the close proximity of the barking. Makoto made it simple and he was asked what he was good at which was rather vague and for most genin none of them really specialized in anything really unless they were into taijutsu, puppetry or those more obvious paths that seem to be really bound to one thing.

However maybe it was that they were all genin and neither of them had the real experience to lead this confrontation at this point in time. However the one thing that was certain was that they would have to work together since the monkeys were probably stronger then them when jutsu was taken out of the equation and wasting chakra was also a bad idea too. Right now Makoto was developing more techniques and tactics for the future and right now this guy was trying to lead them, though it was better then letting a taijutsu brat lead them as Makoto still had disdain towards taijutsu users, mainly for his lacking talent in that field and his frail body not counting other issues he also has.

Makoto was waiting for more information as they had to think of a plan, he did not want to be kept waiting as well as he did not like to have to keep others waiting either. However experience was not on their side and they all needed time to make a plan, but could this guy lead them and how convenient that they were all Iwa shinobi, was this a coincidence or was it a plan of that man, as some faint after image of Maikumaru appeared in the back of his mind for some reason.

Standing amongst the other two, he quickly realized he was the oldest and probably most qualified to lead the mission. It wasn’t so much an age thing than an experience thing as he looked at both of the younger fighters, one vaguely entering puberty and the other... well... A tired sigh almost entered his chest as Kizmaru decided to take point in asking what everyone’s skillset was. An important thing to go over if they were all to work together to stop the nuisance. Luckily enough this group could possibly handle the situation with very little damage to the surroundings. Taiho was fortunate enough to be at least familiar with both young ninja, and could tell what each could likely do to make this situation go by quickly.

Taking a sort of thinking stance, he went over the details of the mission before looking over at the pile of wood as well as listening for the sounds of the monkey’s fucking about in the orchard right in front of them, he decided on a course of action before turning back to Makoto and Kizmaru.

Alright here’s what we do. Makoto I remember from the battle we had a few months back that you are proficient in water incantations or whatever you people call it. So you should stick back and be our support, if you can make that mist that you used in the fight to reduce the effectiveness of any fire that the Monkey’s could use and prevent any kindling that may be laying around from catching fire. That should buy me and Kizmaru time to handle the apes ourselves. If you can after you establish the mist, try and snipe any stragglers we may miss with your spells to make it easier for us”.

Kizmaru, me and you are going to be the front line and try to take them down before they cause more problem. Likely we’ll only be able to stop this squad, but that’s only with perfect teamwork with us. I hope you’ve improved on your martial arts since our last mission because this is likely going to be much more difficult than last time. I’ll focus on using sensory to try and pinpoint their locations and call them out so we can work quickly and efficiently. If we’re lucky we can get out of here without missing an eyebrow or two. You guys got that?

He’d look between both of the younger nin with a questioning glance, his softer voice piercing through the shouts and wails of the monkeys clearly so he knew that could at least hear him, but he had no idea if they actually understood his commands. He knew however that they’d have to work quick to keep the Monkeys from destroying even more property apparently.

Listening and taking in the response to the smaller Iwa shinobi, Kizmaru had nodded a bit as if he was lost in thought. It wasn't too different from what he was actually good at but he figured he was versatile enough to perform whatever role would be required to be filled. He was already somewhat familiar with Taiho's strengths but he didn't really know for sure. Either way, he wasn't too worried about it as he assured himself. Well then, it was time to move on to their course of action which was to devise a plan. Kizmaru still had nothing up his sleeve but luckily for him, he didn't have to really think on it too hard. It seems Taiho would once again assume the role as leader and come with a plan for them. Listening intently through the sounds of encroaching screeches and monkey wails, Kizmaru had a general idea of what the plan would be or at least what HIS role was. That's mainly what he wanted to hear and could fill in the blanks as they went through with it. He had improved on his physique since they had their last bout but he wasn't sure if he could take on a whole horde of monkeys in toe-to-toe combat especially if they were rumored to be stronger than the average Genin, almost equal to Chuunin, if not equal.

It appears that these two also had some sort of interaction in the past and that Taiho seemingly trusted in this boy's abilities so therefore, he in turn would trust in his abilities as they were all from the same village anyways. Well, it seems the time has come upon them were there was no more room for talk and they had to prevent the damage of the ninja monkeys form spreading any further. "Well, here goes nothing." Kizmaru had said, gritting his teeth in an agitated frown and punching his left hand with his right to show he was ready. Kizmaru decided he would go in first towards the orchard they were suppose to be guarding. He didn't dash at his maximum velocity but he was still traveling at a moderate pace. Upon entering the orchard where the monkey were last heard, Kizmaru had spotted two of them, yelling while holding some fruit in their hands and tossing it around. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn't be the first idea that comes to mind as Kizmaru was no fan of pain but since he has a team backing him up this time around, he decided he'd have to go for it.

Waiting for his chance to strike, Kizmaru had his behind a thicket of tall grass growing near-by and waited for both of them to have their backs completely turned away from him. Judging from the distance between them, they couldn't be anymore than seven meters away from him which was perfect for a stealthy rush down. They were also as tall as the average young male adults that would be in their early twenties. He didn't expect to take them out like that but he did want to batter them a bit before they had chance to use jutsu and what not. Alas, a moment has arrived and Kizmaru had crept out of the thicket slowly as to not make noise before sprinting at near full speed towards them. When he got within range of his targets, Kizmaru opened with a wide roundhouse kick, crashing his right leg into the nearest monkey. The kick wasn't strong enough to render the monkey unconscious but, it had enough force to knock it into the other monkey it seemed to be monkeying around with. This only seemed to fuel their anger as they began to recover their and prepare to beat the person responsible for that kick within an inch of their life. Well, Kizmaru hopes that his training made him sturdy enough for what's to come.

Makoto paid attention to the instructions given by Teiho as it seemed he took command of their squad of three. The first thing he had to take into account was that it was clear to him that Teiho was more then likely stronger then him, maybe even smarter since it was hard to tell in that brawl they had before. Kizmaru was still a wild card for Makoto who had not worked with him before as they would prepare the plan.

Teiho began and explained what they would be doing first, he apparently remembered that Makoto had used water elemental ninjutsu, though it was a bit upsetting that this taijutsu brute ridiculed it as mere incantations of sorts. However shinobi should not feel and therefor he would not worry about that small grievance. The guy told him to sit back as support and provide them with a hidden mist to cover their location in battle as he began to think to himself that Teiho may be smarter then he looks. Being told to stick back seemed a bit counter productive, but it was not time for Makoto to reveal all the cards he had at his disposal. Meanwhile he was told to also limit fires so preventing unnatural fires at the very least would make things simple not to mention he had other water techniques for natural fires as well, as he felt like he might end up being used as a fire swatter of sorts.

The mist was still mist so it would make most wood too damp to catch fire anyways, as he felt it insulting they felt he could not get any of the apes himself. However makoto was not one to leave things to chance as he shall soon prepare his ultimate technique for dealing with the monkeys.

Upon the discussion of the plan coming to an end, he nodded and agreed while simply giving a bit of advice. "I can help prevent any unnatural fires, but try not to get lost in the mist"

With all that said it seemed Kizmaru was the more jump into things and hope they work out as he sighed deep down inside it was like a second coming of the teiho, then again he was living in a village full of taijutsu brutes who loved to fight with fists and think like tanks. Makoto performed the hidden mist technique veiling them as they had started their encounter and then he formed the hand seals of the mighty ox, followed by the cunning snake and finally finishing foremost with the running ram as he then thickened the mist giving it the ability to block any fire techniques of equal or even higher rank with ease limiting the chances of any fire outbreaks.

As he formed this he would sit back and pay attention as the mist vision activated in unison with his lenses enabling him to see all the monkeys as he knew Teiho was in charge of orders he did not alert them and trusted in the plan. However there was this painful feeling that he could not shake as if he was still awake in the heat of a nightmare as their mission was far from over, however they had to succeed and they had to complete their mission for they are shinobi.
