Beginner Herbal Assistant:

There was finally a chance for Miku to return to what he did best, gathering herbs. However when he got back to the village from a well deserved promotion he began a mission that seemed a bit different. Instead of gathering herbs he would assist with using them in some way, shape or form. He finally made his way to the herbology department of the konoha hospital where he met with a strange girl in a lab coat with a bunch of circular glasses who looked at him with a hard monotone voice the lady replied with.

"hmff, fetch me that green stuff over there and some of the white stuff up here and a glass of water." While Miku was taken a bit by surprise he understood the importance of following the mission so he went to the strange mossy green stuff on the brown table, they looked mossy, but seemed more like sludge as he just grabbed a bunch in his hands he felt like he was carrying some kind of muck as he placed it next to her she went and took a bite out of it as he shivered the thought of eating whatever that weird green item was.

He then went to climbing up above her to reach this white powder that looked like a mixture of flour and sugar, but he just could not figure it out as he carefully got the bag he used the supernatural walking practice for easier movement and his tail helped with his balance as he finally got down and gave her the bag. She punched a hole through the bag then tossed the powder in a bowl that lit up on fire as the woman was grinning with an evil smile as he just proceeded to go fetch the water as he finally got it he came there and the woman took the bottle and downed all five hundred milliliters of it.

"Good, now I want you to go get my mail, do my laundry over there and bring me that green book over there" as he had a bit of shock on his face as he sighed as he felt this was rather disappointing for a mission.

Miku sighed as he went to fetch the mail outside, it was a bit annoying. However a mission was a mission and it was a D-rank mission so he could not expect much from this. After getting all the mail and bunching it up carefully he returned to the room as the lady just told him. "Sort the mail, then do whatever I told you to do next, I am busy so get to work"

Miku sighed again, as he began sorting the mail. He was not sure how to sort it so he just sorted them according to importance with mail from the Admin being put on top, mail from the department in the middle and random mail at the bottom. After doing that he went to the pile of clothing and began to pick up all the random clothing laying around as he felt bad, he wondered if mom had to do this for him whenever he ran off on missions.

In the middle of doing this he just placed the green book next to her and went on with his shinobi chores, a D-rank mission set aside to teach you the importance of doing basic tasks it seemed and following orders no matter how stupid they may be.

Miku sighed as he was busy doing the laundry, he really felt more like a maid then a shinobi at the moment. As he walked back and forth carefully using the water to wash the clothes, he felt like he hated this but a mission was a mission, and ryo was ryo. He came back as his hands felt all wrinkly from the washing as the lady spoke up and asked him to go make her some coffee as she pointed to a strange beaker of sorts filled with coffee beans. He sighed again as he began to carefully read the instruction book which made him feel stupid. A guide to making coffee for beginners and idiots, as he sighed again before reading.

Miku felt like he was becoming a sighing machine as he read the instructions carefully adding the water, then using a bit of chakra to activate the heater which then proceeded to boil the water and the beans together as he waited patiently for it to be completed. As time passed the coffee was ready as he carefully took it and poured it into her special mug with a leaf on it, that looked like a herb. He gave her the coffee then she said, "Good Job, here is your proof of helping me out, now get lost so the next shinobi can start his shift with helping me"

Miku bowed politely and left having completed his mission feeling exhausted for completely different reasons than usual as he just wanted to get paid already as he felt it was time to return to training, which was way less boring then this job. If he did not need ryo he would not even be doing this, but ryo makes the shinobi world go round.
