Retsu stared out across the water from the dock, the sun reflecting off the water causing it to be even brighter than it normally was. Even through the tinted lens of the boy's goggles the sun was nearly unbearable for the boy, causing the boy to question why he was here in the middle of the day. Normally the boy preferred to operate at night, or at the very least in the shade of the forest. This time he did not have much of a choice he was assigned a mission and he had to do it, for the boy turning it down would of been insulting the village. The boy had gone to the administration and told them that he would do any job assigned to him, so when a job was assigned he would have to do it, you could say it was a sense of pride that he did this to himself. So the boy gritted his teeth and proceed down the dock towards the ship that was coming in towards the port, the ship was bringing in some different merchandise for the village and the boy was suppose to both help unload and ensure that all of the cargo was delivered.

As the ship pulled into the port Retsu observed the crew securing the ship to the dock, once the bridge way from the dock to the ship was up the boy crossed over. Once onboard the board was greeted by a mountain of a man with a scar on his right cheek and in a full tan captain attire. "I suppose you're the one they sent from the village, ah" the large man questioned as he towered over the young Aburame, his voice Booming like a shot from a cannon. Retsu just looked up to the man and nodded, "Not much of a talker are ya?" The man asked with a chuckle, when the boy just stared back at him through the tinted lens of his goggles the large man rubbed the back of his head and gave a less enthused chuckle breaking eye contact with the boy amd looking around the dock hoping there was someone else he could talk to. The man handed Retsu the ship's manifest as his crew began getting the cargo ready to haul, Retsu did a quick look over it was quite a lot and if he wanted to get done with it before nightfall he needed to get started and keep it moving.

The crates were large requiring two members of the crew to move, the boy knew he would not be able to help them with such a physical task. The men were much more fit than the boy, but what the boy lacked in strength he made up for in intelligence. It all came back to the boy's Kikaichu, the boy had studied them and other insects for most of his life. The boy knew that the tiny beetles could lift more than their fair share, he did not know how the crew would react to the display they were about to witness and in all honesty at the time he did not really care. The boy mainly just wanted to get the job done and get out of the direct sunlight, slowly he release his Kikaichu from his body small swarm flooded out and into the air around the ship. The captain as well as the crew stood frozen, the boy did not know if it was from fear or amazement but it did not really matter. Directing the Kikaichu to the cargo the boy sent his beetles to work, the beetle swarmed the crates and began lifting them only requiring a small cloud per crate. The kikaichu will have the ship unloaded in half the time that it would take the crew, of course after the crew realized what the little insects were doing they soon went back to work not wanting to be out done by a bunch of bugs. As his Kikaichu moved the different crates off the ship and onto the dock where the dock crew took them to the warehouse, the boy checked off each item on the manifest. The boy noticed the captain eyeing him from the other side of the ship, it was obvious that the captain was unnerved by the boy which caused him to smile beneath his mask. The boy was use to this kind of scrutiny for his Kikaichu, once the job was finished and the tiny beetles returned to the boy Retsu turned to the captain bowed slightly to the man and turn to leave the ship. As he left a small cloud of Kikaichu formed the words "Thank you" in the air before following their master off the ship.
