Yui had been through a lot in the recent times, as she had finally got close to Bokuden even marrying the man things seemed doomed for the pair. Soon after he began to get very ill, as a medical shinobi she felt this was no issue but it turned out whatever was wrong she could not heal using her jutsu. She tried desperately and even dragged him to various medical shinobi but eventually his body could not handle it, he fell into a coma and soon after died. Her heart felt crushed, the man she deeply cared for and loved was now gone. He had asked her before his death to bury him in the place where the white lotus bloomed, only Yui and Bokuden knew that location. Yui would take his body and bury him far away from Suna and in an unmarked grave. She would surely miss him for the rest of her life but he also told her to move on and not stay stuck in the past.

Even with those words, her heart felt heavy as she began to return to her village only to see something once again happened. All she could see was flames rising high into the night sky as she fell to her knees, first her one love and now her village, she felt cured and she felt a deep anger. Why was she being punished so much, why did she deserve to lose everything she ever cared for. She could only watch as everything she ever loved and cared for was destroyed, she wanted to punish the entire world for her suffering.

Without a nation of her own now where could she go, that was when she began to think one of the strongest and most warlike nations was Kiri. She had a rather intense relationship with that country in particular but in order to punish the world, this nation was the best choice. A smile would cross her face, this world would suffer just like they had made her suffer, she would head toward the border making sure to keep off known trails, as the former kage she knew everything about her nation and knew exactly how to avoid any trouble.

As she made her way past the border she could only smile, in reality, her mind was broken her anger so high she wanted nothing more than the world to burn. She would continue on her journey resting when needed until she would come to the border of the water nation, this would become her new home and she was sure they would be delighted to accept someone of her stature to their village.

She would camp out for the night having Sekkiea keep close watch while she slept, she had no idea who attacked her village or why but she was not taking any chances. A part of her was glad the village was gone, the corrupt council finally got the judgment they deserved and the Damiyao she despised was now dead. They were nothing but bigots and greed ruled them all, long ago they had lost the way and lost the desire to be for the people, still, tears would stream down her face. She hated those that lead the village but the innocent lives she was sure that had been lost made her heart heavy.

So many innocents now dead, maybe if she had stayed around even with Bokuden healths declining she could have stopped it, but she had a lot of doubts that could happen. If they took down the village they had to have had a very powerful attack force, or someone betrayed the village that had a high position and allowed them to enter the village. She had no clue and she likely would never discover the truth, as mad as it made her she did not care anymore, anything she had cared about was now gone. Bokuden was gone and Suna was gone, she had no reason to feel sympathy or care for the world any longer, why waste her thoughts on the world when they had destroyed anything she had ever cared for.

After a good nights sleep she began to make the rest of the trip as she stepped into the land of water, would they accept her or reject her she would soon find out. She was sure Aya would accept her, however, the two had met and she had a feeling Aya certainly did not hate her in the least, she was a strong shinobi with a lot to offer, so to a village like Kiri she had a lot of value.
