Amaya was seated cross legged underneath of a tree, her reddish gaze resting on the river as she watched it flow past. Her left hand held the bottom of a lunch box up, and the right held chopsticks which she was currently using to stick a bit of rice into her mouth. Chew, chew, chew, and a swallow and she set the lunch box next to her on the ground. Twirling the chopsticks between her fingers she looked around, wondering if anyone else was going to wander past.

She had been there for a while, now. Having come here to try and think up new jutsu, or decide which one she wanted to learn next. She had a lot on her plate already, but wasn't beyond adding more. She yawned and stretched, fingertips reaching skyward before she relaxed her form with a sigh. She took that moment to pull her long white hair back into a ponytail, removing it from her face. She hadn't bothered dressing in her usual Jounin attire today, being off duty as it were; so there she sat in a pair of capri length black pants, black sandals which were at the moment sitting next to her so that her feet were bare, a black shirt, with a white jacket that was hanging open over it. Comfortable. She liked comfortable.

She looked down to her newest medical book that was lying next to her lunch box. "Hmm... read or eat... decisions, decisions.", she muttered softly to herself.

Karo had been wandering about for a certain amount of time, having run into a Kenta Sarutobi who had generously handed her two swords, one with a blue sheath and the other black. Both strapped on to her back in an X formation with her tanto in the middle of the two. She'd never thought she'd be carrying about three swords all at once. She felt like a one man army just strolling through the village alone, the people staring at her with judgmental or frightful eyes...she wasn't even one to fight mind you!

she needed some time alone or at least some time with people who wouldn't judge her, three swords can come off as rather intimidating mind you... No...some time at the river would do her some good...after all, Suiton was gonna be her third element to train! She just knew it! So why not study it's motions, the properties and whatnot before training?
Having got to the river she noticed...someone already there? Oh god...someone else to judge her...hair as white snow...rather pretty. Karo soon found herself walking up behind her and peaking over her rather large boobs for a 15 year old and the girls shoulders. A medical book? Oh...Karo had already read this one before plus it's additional ones...shame.
"Read it." She said quietly before slapping her hands onto her lips. Oh dear lord, she made first contact with the stranger! Oh no!! Oh dear god! Karo's face turned a beet red before she felt slightly dizzy...this is it...this is where Karo croaks it, where she kicks the bucket. Oh dear god! She's no longer a coffin dodger! AHHHH!

Amaya turned slightly, blinking at the new arrival. "You might want to sit down you look like you're about to pass out.", she said softly. She turned a little more, reddish gaze taking in the girls appearance more. Lots of swords. An eyebrow rose at her words about having already read the book. "This is my newest copy. I've gone through 2 others. I just enjoy rereading things from time to time." She turned back again, back resting once more against the tree trunk.

She slid the lid on her metal lunch box for the moment, not wanting any wild life to try and get into it. Her stomach needed a break from the sudden food she'd been throwing into it anyway; at least she was putting on weight, not so much the overly thin figure she used to be. "I take it... you like the medical field then?", simple deduction really, no one seemed to like reading medical books for the fun of it, so it seemed simple enough to assume.

She picked up her book, flipping through the pages quickly before placing it down on the top of her lunch box, shifting into a slightly more comfortable position as her gaze moved to the other woman.

Karo nodded at the girl, her face slightly flushed from having to carry around three swords and the embarrassment of having made the first move. She carried her shaking body to the opposite of the girl sitting and resting by the tree, the grass cool beneath Karo's fingers as she lowered herself down and shifting the sword about so not to irritate her.

Girl was clearly into her medical research so it was obvious that she had to have Medical Ninjutsu cause, seriously, who wants to read up on something that they will hardly even need? So unless she was just in it for the knowledge, more than likely she had Medical Ninjutsu. Maybe even have Ninjutsu? Hmm...hard to tell, she doesn't seem much of the type but...oh well. Karo shook her head and came back to planet earth as she scanned the girl from head to toe. Dull clothing that contrasts with her pale skin and white hair, her blood red eyes somewhat pretty as they stuck out from the snowy hair.

"M-My name's Karoshi Zetsumei from the Kumogakure Squadron." She shakily said, stretching out her hand as a welcome or a hello if you will. She wanted her first impression to be a positive one...better than having a negative one and coming off as arrogant or ignorant if you will.

Amaya smiled pleasantly, friendly like, as she reached forward and lightly shook the other girls hand. Amaya's touch was cool in temperature, and rather gentle. Withdrawing her hand she got comfortable against the tree that was behind her again and gave a nod. "My name's Amaya.. Amaya Uchiha."

Amaya took in the girls appearance a little more, noticing that she seemed... shy? Almost. Maybe. Given Amaya's own social awkwardness she wasn't one to judge people, at least not on first appearances. "So, did you come here for the peace and quiet as well?", she asked, voice soft yet loud enough to be heard. She was trying to keep a conversation going, knowing that awkward silence was worse then a bad conversation any day. Besides, she felt the need to put the other female at easy almost.

Karo smiled at the girl named Amaya, her hand cool to the touch and so soft and delicate was her skin as she retracted her arm, shifting back into a more comfortable position from the looks of things. Hmm...this girl seemed nice enough, might as well calm down about... Karo sighed and tried her best to get comfy but let's face it, she's got three swords strapped onto her, this is as comfy as she's getting.

She sighed, running her petite hand through her long orange hair as her orange eyes examined the girl once more...there wasn't much to tell other than the fact that she seemed friendly and welcoming enough. Oh well then.
"I did actually, all those judging eyes can be...rather over bearing if you know what I mean." she huffed, unstrapping the three swords and neatly placing them side by side in front of her.

Amaya nodded, knowing exactly what she was talking about. Yeah, judgement... she knew all about that, too well honestly. "Yeah, I know what you mean.. being albino is enough to scare them all." She shook her head slightly. "Add in that I'm of the Uchiha clan?" She shook her head a little more. "Makes for a hell of a lot of rumors and judgement." She stretched skyward, enjoying the feeling of her muscles pulling and tensing as she did to. After relaxing again she folded her arms across her chest, her reddish gaze turning back to the other female.

"So... are you leaving soon? Seems almost everyone bailed as soon as they had the chance. Haven't even seen my new friend, Raijin, recently." Her voice was all curiosity, and her head tilting only added to the curious look she held. It was her way of keeping the conversation going, and she was a tad bit nosy, too. Most people, she knew, who were staying were doing so for training.

Albino huh? That's rare nowadays seeing as though there weren't many albino's kicking about on planet earth and the fact that she was an Uchiha as well did not really help her when it came to being around people...Karo thought that she had it bad with people judging her for looking like a one man army but that fact that Amaya had to live with it? Must be tough for someone so...young? Oh well...not much she could have done other than sit and look the girl over and over again.
"I'm sorry to hear that and yes I am just not with my squad. I'm heading to suna with Gin-sama to be taught in kenjutsu." She said happily, pulling her tanto closer to her as she unsheathed the blade examining it...there were no nicks in it so there wasn't much to complain or worry about.

"So an Uchiha huh? I've always wanted to find out more about your Kekkei Genkai? Not many books on it and I've read and scoured the majority of your villages library. Well...I've read all of them so yeah..." She chuckled, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment.

Her head tilted a bit to the side, again, gaze narrowing slightly. Gin? As in one of the Kage's? Had to be, that wasn't a very popular name. Wow, she hadn't met many people trained by Kage's before. She had got lucky with the fact that Ashi was her friend to be able to get as close to Kenta as she had, close enough for him to be willing to train her. Her face became emotionless again and then a smile appeared on it. "That sounds cool.", she said in response to the training.

She then nodded to the question directed towards her. "Yeah, it's hard to write about something so few have access too." She chuckled. "Unless of course they're on the recieving end... but I guess most people don't end up surviving that.", the last bit of her sentence was said on a sigh, as it reminded her so much of why people passed judgement so quickly after she gave them her name.

Ah well, time to shake that train of thoughts away. "What interests you so much about it? I mean, people have asked around, but I don't think anyone has gone so far as to read every book in the library." Her smile remained friendly, she was simply curious, at least for now.

Man, does this girl have any other expression other than being able to smile? Sheesh, she must be rather depressed to have such a...dull personalty...mind you, karo hadn't really gotten to know her so maybe she was just shy and not too sure of Karo herself? Meanwhile, Karo was already starting to ease up, uncrossing her legs and bringing her knees to her chest as she wrapped her arms around them.

Karo listened as Amaya finished her sentence...that was rather morbid to say the least, her tone changing into a sigh near the end of the sentence...hmm. She giggled at Amaya, trying to lighten the mood as she sprung to her feet, a small bounce following her raising up.
"I like to read, plus knowledge is everything when you're a Medical Ninja, is it not?" She asked, her words true to the letter. She was going to have to know everything there was to know in case it ever came to her having to do a procedure on someone which required insight. How could she do that without the required knowledge? They could have something in them from their Kekkei Genkai and Karo might not know and fuck up...last thing she wants on her mind at the moment.

Amaya chuckled, she just couldn't help herself. Had anyone come to ask about the Uchiha eyes she probably would've dropped them into a seizure, thrown them into the nearby river, and then walked away leaving them for the fates to have. The fact that this girl was asking for the reason she gave? Well, it amused Amaya, greatly, and made her far from hostile. When she was finished chuckling she nodded in agreement. "I guess you're right. In fact, you are correct."

Amaya picked at the underside of the nail of her pointer finger on her left hand with her thumb of the same hand, as if pondering something. "There really isn't much to tell, honestly, probably not much more than what those books had to say about it... though I am curious as to what those books did indeed say?" There was, of course, no point in repeating information one already knew.

There was something about this other female that amused her, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Which brought around her own question, that she didn't, for the moment ask.

Amaya stood, suddenly. Glancing at the sky before frowning. "I'm late... I must go. Perhaps I'll see you around another time." With that said she grabbed up her lunch box, book, and then proceeded to take off - heading back in the direction of the village. Running at top speed to get to wherever she was probably late for.
