Mission Details:

Kuno Uchiha strode through the moonlight bathed streets of Sunagakure no Sato on his way to complete yet another mission for his village. He had been working very hard lately, trying to complete as many missions as he could for his home; not just so that he could make money for new gear, but also so that he could keep his village safe. He needed to protect his family, and if that meant hunting down bank robbers, or fighting officials from other villages, or setting up checkpoints out in the Endless Dunes, that’s what he would do. Whatever was necessary for the village, Kuno was always prepared to make sure it got done, for the sake of his home and his family.

It was a fairly quiet night, as since it was pushing close to eleven o’clock in the evening, the night life was starting to recede into their respective homes to rest. Kuno, on the other hand, was just starting his day, his miao dao strapped to his hip and the hood of his jacked pulled up to cover his headband. He could not be identified on this mission. This time the administration of the Village Hidden in the Sands had tasked the young Uchiha with taking down a bandit that had been robbing the Kiri Kiri Resteraunt for the past week or so. He had been described as a man with shinobi abilities in terms of stealth and speed, but he did not wear any headband of any kind. Furthermore, he had worn all black on every occasion, brandishing a kunai to threaten anyone who got in his way. Each time the bandit had come to rob the restaurant he would show up just as the place was being closed down for the night around midnight, take as much money as he could, and then flee. It had come to the point where the regular authorities could no catch him, so instead it fell on the shoulders of the shinobi of the village, and Kuno was happy to oblige.  

The young Uchiha made sure to arrive fairly early to ensure that he would be there when the robbery was going to occur. He spent some time inside, ordering food of his own and taking some time to eat it in an attempt to bend in with the regular crouwd that was still around at the late hour of the night. He sat there, waiting, for an hour or so before the rest of the hop seemed to empty out. Kuno glanced around the room and noticed that he was the only on in the building aside from the one staff member on shift. Shaking his head, he stood up and walked out of the building, afraid that the Kiri Kiri Restaurant bandit may not strike again if there was a stranger waiting inside alongside the regular staff. Glancing about to make sure that he was alone, Kuno turned down an alley beside the establishment and used the Supernatural Walking Practice to run up the wall of the restaurant and perched himself on the roof. Once he was comfortable, he ensured that he could not be seen from either of the restaurant’s two exits and began to wait once more.

This time, he was not waiting long before he watched a stranger wearing all back clothing including a cloak came dashing down the alley that Kuno himself had been in only a few minutes before and ran around to the rear entrance of the Kiri Kiri Restaurant. Fighting the urge to jump down and attack him right away, Kuno waiting quietly and listened to the sounds coming from inside. He could hear the bandit talking to the poor employee who had been left alone for the night. They argued for a moment, but after the bandit issued a threat, the employee shut up pretty quickly.  Kuno heard the faintest of exchanges between the worker and the bandit before he watched the bandit run out of the Kiri Kiri Restaurant, a bag of ryo in hand. Kuno wasted no more time, jumping down just behind him and drawing his Miao Dao from its sheathe and he landed. “Stop right there, friend. I think you’ve taken enough money from here, don’t you?"

The man, surprisingly, did stop in his tracks before turning around slowly. He face was covered by a half face mask and the only features that Kuno could discern for certain were that his eyes were a dark blue, and there was some sort of symbol on the left breast of the black shirt he was wearing. Kuno squinted to try to see what it was, but he did not get much of a chance as the bandit through the bag of ryo back at him, the move taking Kuno by surprise as the bandit began to run off. “Oh no you don’t!” Kuno shouted after his target as the stranger began to jump to the rooftops in an attempt to escape. Kuno was on him in no time, jumping up to the roof tops just has his quarry had using crates and shop signs and a touch of the Supernatural Walking Practice. Before too long there was a high speed chase occurring over the Village of Sunagakure.

Kuno gritted his teeth and pushed himself forward in an attemot to catch up, but the head start that the bandit had taken was starting to show as Kuno was moving closer, but not quickly enough. “Fine then, I warned you!” The young Uchiha shouted before channelling fuuton chakra through his hand and into the blade that he was still holding. He then launched it forward, throwing it in a wide arc that managed to catch the fleeing bandit in the back of the knee. Kuno wasted no time, jumping up into the air and letting loose a ball of flame from his mouth right onto the man. Kuno then reached out his hand as his miao dao returned to his grasp, finally landing beside his fallen foe and drive the blade though his back.

He cleaned off his sword on the former bandit’s corpse and out of curiosity, flipped him over to see what was written on his chest.


It was a kanji for the word “fall” or “autumn”, which wad curious considering the weather in this part of the world. Raising an eyebrow, Kuno took out his kunai and cut out the symbol from the clothing before folding it up and tucking it into his pocket. This would be something strange enough to report to the new Kazekage, because if there was organized crime starting to grow once again, it had to be stopped sooner rather than later.
