I have chronic sinus and I required an operation to fix mine, they removed a lot of sinus and also discovered a deformity inside my nose that had cartalidge and bone that grew in a way that made my one side have a slit instead of a hole for air to pass through which created a major blockage. Either way sinus itself is not dangerous, the problem is if you get the cold, the flu or bronchitis or any disease then the sinus makes whatever you get worse by adding onto it...
the curse of sinus rests deep within most people but only a few have it chronic or on life threatening levels so I understand the dangers and anyways look after yourself and you may want to get some cortizon spray, and too lazy to look up correct spelling on google right now oh and if sinus is getting in your blood stream that is rather serious to some degree so get it sorted out and take it easy for a while
No one is going to get mad at you if you take a week or two to ensure full recovery, though please pop in to say hi every now and then when you can and feel up to it
