Shinigami, Referred to some as soul reapers. Others simply call them death. these beings are designed to guide those whom have departed to the afterlife, whether it be eternal damnation, or the Pure World for eternal joy, they also take part in removing the souls of the recently departed, and people who's time have come. These beings are typically regarded as myths and legends, as children tales or mere folk lore. However they exist. They are very much real, and they do their job with a diligent grace. However, among the shinigami there are several laws which must not be broken. Absolute rules that must be abided by, or the offender shall face divine punishment. So the shinigami work diligently. Keeping to their schedules and time tables, and reaping those who need to be reaped, and bypass those who's time is not yet up. It is only once in long awhile that the sacred laws which govern the shinigami get broken, and when that happens, the individual in punished. Banished from purgatory, the realm between the pure world and the earth world, and the realm in which the shinigami exist. They are stripped of all of their abilities, and memories and sent to live out the live of a mortal, with all of the pain and suffering that that entails. These laws cover just about everything that govern a shinigami's day to day life. Simple things, such has never reap a soul before it's time, and always be sure to reap a soul on it's time. Simple things such as those. However those simple rules came with dire consequences if broken, and the threat of losing power, and their memories kept most shinigami hard at work. But not all were created equal, and Shinigami broke laws, and were banished to the earth world, with their memories and powers wiped..

However... there were a select few that slipped through the cracks of the system. A select few who contained remnants of their powers, and remnants of their memories. These select few were known as the fallen only amongst themselves, for they feared if they were to reveal their knowledge that they would be killed off for good. But this, is there story. This is the story of the fallen.

Kekkei Genkai Description:

As fallen shinigami whom had retained some of there powers, these people are as strong as any shinobi if not greater, still able to wield the power of chakra, and even though it may only be bread crumbs compared to the power they used to own, it is still immense. the powers these select few possess are as follows.

Even though, These fallen shinigami like identical to humans, they are most certainly not.  Members of this clan do not need to eat, sleep, and do not age. Although they can eat and sleep if they do feel inclined. Another aspect of this is that clan members can naturally see chakra, as it flows about the natural world. Although any form of obstruction will simply block their sight of it. And none of this by any means that clan members are incapable of dying. They are by no means immortal, and can be killed or bleed out just the same as any human. Nor are clan members incapable of fatigue. They can still work themselves to the point where they can no longer stand, or move their muscles anymore without resting their body, they just no longer need to eat food, nor have to sleep, or feel the effects of sleepiness.

For starters, upon character creation each clan members gets a free D-rank item. However this isn't any ordinary D-rank item. This item is directly tied to the clan member's ability to access their powers of the Shinigami. However instead of paying ryo for this item to be upgraded, the user trains with the item to gain further access to their previous shinigami powers. the training goes as follows.
D -> C: 2000 words
C -> B: 2500 words
B -> A: 3000 words
A -> S: 5000 words
S -> SS: 7500 words

This item, aside from the fact that it is directly tied to the user, and their chakra network functions much like a normal item of it's rank and follows the rules and regulations as such. However this also means, that said item upon reaching A-rank and ranks higher can also have it's own unique abilities, much like a regular item would. This item can be trained up no further than 1 rank above the user's current rank.

Note: if the user is transfering to this clan from the undiscovered clan, they MUST have started out as a ronin. Also, instead of that clan member being given a brand new D-rank item in addition to the one they were given for being an undiscovered. The item gained from being an undiscovered becomes the user's catalyst for free. However this does require the item to be immediately updated to include the catalyst ability listed below.

Shinigami are beings of immense chakra, and they can take any soul they wish with these. While these Shinigami have fallen, and no longer retain the strength they once had, their chakra is still immensely power. Techniques that utilize this chakra are known as catalyst techniques. Catalyst techniques require an extra 5 chakra to active, as all as to either be channeled through the user's catalyst, or have the user's catalyst in contact with the user, or be worn or wielded.

Catalyst techniques gain the following benefits.

• All catalyst techniques gain a +1 when clashing with another jutsu.
  
• All catalyst techniques gain 'Push through', meaning that if they clash with another technique of equal rank, the catalyst technique will "push through" that technique and carry on forwards. However it will still be overpowered by techniques of a rank higher.
  

Catalyst techniques, are noticeably different than all other techniques. First and foremost all catalyst techniques have no advantages or disadvantages, even if they are elementally aligned (though techniques retain their elemental properties.) Beyond that, all Catalyst techniques take on a distinct color (varies from user to user) that affect all of their techniques regardless of elemental alignment, and all of these are given a slight black outline/glow. Furthermore, All catalyst techniques are visible to the naked as they are radiating with power, so much so that all catalyst techniques can be felt up to five meters away even by non-sensory type ninja (though unless the user can specifically sense chakra this isn't enough to dis-concern any information about the technique such as location, speed, and size, merely that there is a heavy chakra presence in the air.) Chakra sensing ninja can also sense Catalyst techniques 5 meters past their usual sensory range.

All catalyst techniques must be listed as such under the elements section, as if they were an advanced release even though they are not.

Shinigami are beings designed to guide souls either to eternal damnation, or the Pure land. As such, through the use of Fuinjutsu, members of this clan 'touch' the souls of those whom they interact with. This allows them to app several fuinjutsu techniques which interact with the soul of a target via the use of fuinjutsu. However all techniques that utilize this aspect of the clan must be used via physical contact with the target.

Drawbacks:

• The Catalyst: In the event the clan member's catalyst is broken or lost, the clan member receives a -50 to their chakra pool until it is recovered, or a new one is forged. Clan members can either forge a new item to serve as a catalyst via purchasing a d-rank item and spending 3000 words in a thread dedicated to forging said item, as well as bonding it to a part of their soul. Or they can attach themselves to an existing item they own. This is done by spending 4000 words + 1500 words for every rank above D that item is.
  
  The Catalyst must include the following passage in it's abilities at all times.

• Focused: Shinigami all have a preferred method of reaping the souls of living, this method has been refined and focused over the course of likely thousands of years. For this reason Clan members must take Hesitant Specialization, and cannot counter-balance it.
  
  
• Ignorant: completely new to this world and the way it works, all clan members must pay 10% extra ryo costs when come to buying items and equipment, and as they are ignorant with money they are with communication as well. Likewise Missions require 10% additional word count to complete.
  
  
• Elementally Weak: Due to their dependence on Catalyst techniques, Clan members aren't terribly well versed in the Elemental arts. Due to this, clan members only start out with one element that begins at C-rank. Clan members can only train two elements at most, and the second one can be learned at sp,jounin.
  
  
• Spiritual Beings: As beings that used to be spiritual in nature clan members are inheritance weaker to sealing techniques, and as such, take a +1 to all damage from fuinjutsu techniques. Along with this, Clan members sit directly opposite nature, and all things natural. As such Clan Members cannot learn or utilize senjutsu techniques in any form.

"Catalyst techniques when clashing with a Senjutsu technique will remove the senjutsu bonus from the technique, meaning that senjutsu no longer gains it's +1 to clashing, as well as loses whatever other bonuses it may have gained from being a Senjutsu technique." - no, not in conjunction with the +1 interraction, and also, with either of these in play, you need to specify that these cannot also be senjutsu techniques. We cannot have the stacking of +1's. But i see you cover that in drawbacks. Still, my point stands, you have to pick the +1 interaction, or the null senjutsu effect.

Permanent sealing on an S rank i cannot say ok to. But on an SS rank, i can. if you wanna keep it S rank, give a means to restore chakra, be it either thread WC, a healing technique of a certain rank, or a fuuinjutsu user of a certain rank to break the seal.

Clan members are already listed as being unable to take or utilize senjutsu, but i've included a clause in the KKG as well.
