Why the hell would someone like Kairyu ever entertain the idea of going to somewhere as depressing as the cemetery? He didn't know of anyone in his family who was buried there, as his single grandparents were still alive, and if he were to even find something, it wouldn't be too interesting to him. However, one of the reasons he did go was because he felt compacted by not exploring the village around him. He has only seen the best parts of it- from the food, to the scenery, to the people. He has never seen the bloody past, the history held up only be a few grave markers and earthly stones with writing on them. To truly become strong, one must understand all parts and focuses of life. The entire spectrum is needed if one were to become the Kage of this village. Kairyu's promise with Alwen still rang loudly in his mind. He truly had a fire burning inside of him to become both the Kage and the strongest in the village.

That was the reason why someone like Kairyu was at the cemetery. To explore, to understand, and to become mindful of everything around him. As a shinobi of one of the most powerful villages in the world, as well as one of the most bloody, it was imperative for someone as nice and cheerful as Kairyu to understand and realize the evils of the world. For too long he was blinded by the good in his life, from his great family, to his fantastic training regimen, to even his fantastic schooling. He was able to create a world of good around him. But he knew. He knew that this was just one facet of everything around him. That there was something else in the world for him to see.

Kairyu was of course in his traditional clothing, with his long, black overcoat seamed with black hemlines over a blue long sleeved shirt, with tied ribbons in a criss cross pattern to prevent the sleeves from getting in the way while he is fighting. He also wears a black pair of open-toed boots. On the back of his overcoat is the Natake clan symbol. His weapon was  also on his back, with a sling that goes across the chest. His headband was shining in the sunlight, being placed around his right bicep. He was consistently proud of wearing the symbol of both his clan and his village on his body. He knew he could protect both of those symbols very well.

After waving to many of the villagers, he noticed some people at the cemetery. Some were paying their respects, others crying in front of grave stones. A usual site at the cemetery, or at least, Kairyu thought it was. This was supposed to be an incredibly depressing place, of course. But the annals of depression definitely showed itself to the tall man. Kairyu took note of every person at the grave yard as he was walking along. He did not see any shinobi as of yet, but he did note that there was a variety of people there. No one dangerous, of course. If there was, Kairyu would be ready. Kairyu was used to people threatening him- he was a shinobi, after all. He was also very tall, which caused people to not trust him inherently. It was a sin to pay for being like he was.

As he was walking along, surrounded by the sadness of everything, he finally heard something that he did not hear. A fist hitting the skin of a human. Kairyu wondered what was going on, so he started walking a little bit faster. Usually, people do not start fights at the cemetery- it was in bad taste for both the dead and alive. Especially on the gravestones of their loved ones. As Kairyu rounded the corner, he saw what could only be a short man hitting himself. Well, of course, everyone was short to Kairyu, but the scene before him was something he could not bear to see. His kind heart lead him to just watch the man hit himself, before he suddenly stopped and sat down. He then took out a book, and started reading it.

Kairyu decided to do something he was completely unqualified in doing- he wanted to help this man. It was an innate feeling he had it. Kairyu walked up to the man, a smile on his face to show that he was coming in peace, even thouh he had his shinobi gear on.

"Hey man, you ok?"

"Hey man, you ok?"
-------------------------------

He had no friends, and that was no exaggeration. He had been alone for the whole years after his family's murder. He had been alone his entire time. He cursed himself for what he had done, the tragedy isolated him, and he himself accepted that isolation as a type of punishment. However, it was as if he was curled up in a bottom less pitch black darkness, when a piercing light intruded so boldly. Four words, a worried tone, and you man much taller than him. He found it strange that he reacted shyly and surprised, in other words, he acted awkwardly. He replied to the man in saying while stuttering and getting up "Uh Y-yeah I-I am fine thank you..... Who are you? I'm sorry it's just that..."

It was very strange to him, up till now he has been hated and despised by the people around him. It's not as if he wasn't popular for his deed, and he for sure covered the headlines for a week. Perhaps that this person was from outside or had no knowledge about who Tatsumi was. The parent killer, Tatsumi. Tatsumi put his hands in his pockets and frowned against the smile of the gentle man. "A person in Kirigakure that doesn't despise me or throw rocks at me upon seeing me, spill it what do you want?"

His reaction was very natural, and it was strange that the young man approached Tatsumi and spoke to him so nicely. Tatsumi could not comprehend the situation, nor understand what anyone would want from him. The young boy Tatsumi noticed the man was well-equipped, an assassination? Perhaps he'll put him out of his misery he thought.

No,

No, the man had no killing intent reeking out of him, but instead it was a friendly vibe that he got out of him. Tatsumi darkness had been crippled for a moment, as this was the first time anyone spoke casually to him in years. Tatsumi feared shooing away good intentions, but in his mind he doubted anyone would want to speak or be around a person that killed his own whole family. The questions, the doubts, and the thoughts inside his head struggled against each other.

Tatsumi didn't have his guard up, nor did he care if he was killed. It would just set him free. A flash of red in his eyes struck into another picture made in his head. The young boy sunk into his imagination for an instant to view another world crafted by his mind. Another dimension dissolving in mere seconds after exposing Tatsumi to a new power, emotion, or reality.

It was merely a hidden figure, the light behind it blinded the tragic boy to its identity and the figure had extended its hand as if offering to pick Tatsumi up. Flashing back to reality, Tatsumi awaited a response from the man. From the inside of his jacket fell an aged newspaper, and the headline of the newspaper was "9 Year old boy murders his whole family? Murderer left unpunished." He smirked with disappointment as he leaned in to pick up the newspaper. He kept it held in one hand, and awaited a response from the young man that approached him.
