Uchiha Teru

Uchiha Teru

It had been a while since she last visited the training grounds due to her duties as a ninja became the priority. But, now that she had a little freedom to go her own way for the time being, she was able to pay a visit to the place she found to be a peaceful location. Well, this time, her visit wasn't one for any training. Ever since her encounter with Maigo and the Kracken the other day, she was still feeling rather tired. So, what she was going to do included the small bag held in her right hand. A small lunch that would hopefully help her regain that lost strength she used up back then. Looking at it from another angle, it was a beautiful day outside. Spending time outside when it was refreshing in the outdoors seemed like the perfect way to kill time. "Let's see," Teru muttered to herself as she roamed along the path. Her eyes were searching and determined to find the perfect place for her break. "Ah, there it is."

After a few minutes of walking and avoiding the swamps, she had finally arrived at her intended destination. It was the clearing she first went to during her initial days as a Genin. The way the sun was shining through made it a very beautiful spot, something that Teru could always appreciate. And while the pleasant sight remained, she went over to the center of the small clearing and sat down in the grass with her legs crossing in front of her. “Ah, this feels great,” she let out a breath, and relaxed her body under the sunshine. Although, she did wonder if there was anyone else around at the training grounds. While she was fine with spending time by her lonesome, she didn’t feel like objecting the opportunity of having another face around to share the moment. Simple conversations were always a welcomed idea, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Oh, but who was there to have a time like that with? So far, it was looking to be a pretty quiet day. Perhaps it was because everyone was out with their squads or on missions. It would make sense. There wasn't always time to spend time relaxing. Teru sighed and reached into her small bag and pulled out a neatly created sandwich for one. The contents of it being a couple different meats and veggies purchased from the market-- all were fresh. It would probably be after she ate when she would get back up and leave the grounds for her ninja duties. Breaks were needed, but they couldn't last the whole day. And she had goals to reach, and people to serve. It would be most disappointing if any of them saw her as a slacker, especially when she was trying to have a little time to herself. Well, she didn't have very much with her to eat, so maybe there wasn't really anything to possibly worry about...

Mizara flew threw the air between trees in the swap. She had always made it a game to try and make it through the disgusting area without having to touch the ground. It had become quite easy for her to navigate the thinning swamp, with it lacking the amount of foliage, one might of thought it impossible. However, it was easy with a little bit of thought process, which Mizara had a ton of time to think about recently. She planted a foot on a rotting branch and pushed off of it hard, making it snap under her foot as she launched herself to another tree a few meters away. Mizara maneuvered gracefully through the air, attempting not to make a mistake whatsoever. It was inevitable that she would, however, it was only a matter of time. One can't possibly be perfect at one thing all the time, and she knew that from experience.

Mizara took a hold of the hilt of her Hattori Whip-Sword and yanked it from its sheath, the blade broke into many links as it revealed itself from the compartment, eventually coming out in full and flapping through the air as Mizara ran. She was proud of her new weapon, and hadn't had a chance to use it the way she would have liked to. It was a unique weapon of course; She hadn't seen one like it throughout her life. Though it was quite possible that there could be ones like it. It was no matter though, Mizara loved the weapon all the same, admiring its sleek design and perfect balancing. The weight of the blade wasn't too overbearing either. The chains connecting each link could be heard clearly as they clanged together from the brusque movement Mizara was creating. With one swift action, Mizara hopped off of another branch and twirled in the air, spinning three full turns before landing on the next branch. The blade followed her movement, creating what seemed like a vortex of steel rotating around her. It was an awesome mechanic, Mizara thought as she completes her performance, she believed it would serve her well in the years to come.

Glancing up at her surroundings, she spots a wide opening in the foliage and dashes straight for it. The lack of platforms Mizara had to utilize here was ever increasing, so before the last tree was underneath her, she picked up speed. As she launched off the next branch with more force than the ones before, she flew through the opening in the treeline and into a clearing whose surface was far below her. Mizara did another twirl for her own enjoyment, watching the blade dance around her before she touched down on the soft grass.
She huffed a big breath, slightly winded from the exercise. Mizara had always pushed herself beyond her limits, but he felt like taking it easy today as she had outdone herself the whole week prior to the day. So finding a clearing such as the one she was in now gave her an opportunity to relax a bit.

Mizara looked around, observing her surroundings, there wasn't much to look at, it was honestly just an open area full of grass. The only thing that was unique to this spot was the young girl sitting in the middle of the clearing, seemingly eating what must have been lunch. This peaked Mizara's interest, as she had always liked people in general, and speaking to them no less. So it was natural for her to light up with a cheery grin on her face and wave dramatically over at the stranger. Mizara found herself calling out as loud as her vocals would let her, "Hey, friend! What are you doing way out here?" She said teasingly. Mizara had always labeled most people as "friend" when first speaking to them, it was just the way she was, she always wanted to make sure that people felt comfortable around her. Of course it was obvious that the stranger was eating their lunch, but it would have brought up a conversation nonetheless.

Mizara was hopeful that the girl would be willing to speak with her. She hadn't been looking for social interaction, not out here anyways, but now that she had found an opportunity, of course she was going to take it.

She had very little on her mind as she took small bites out of her sandwich. There wasn't very much to do, other than eat and get a good walk going to burn off some calories. With the day being as good as it was, she didn't pay too much attention to anything else, actually. A few more bites to the food in her hand, and she was just about done with it. And, when she did eat it all, she would lie back with her arms folded behind her head to act as a pillow. A little time to shut her eyes and nap a little wouldn't hurt, she thought. "This feels really nice," she contently sighed as her body fell into place perfectly. Nothing could possibly ruin a moment like that. Well, that was what she had thought, but she didn't consider anything like someone jumping into the picture. Fashionably. Teru was just about to close her eyes and dismiss the entrance, but the person had greeted her rather openly. It would have been rude of her if she ignored the kind kunoichi calling out to her, so she fixated her gaze to the direction that new face was in and smiled. "Hi there," she responded in a kind manner, and got back up so that she was on her feet. When she got a good look at the one who approached her, it hit her that this fellow really was a new face.

This girl was... certainly taller than Teru, and had quite an upbeat air around her. She looked young, but could she have been older? That question would have to be saved for another time. Teru was faced with a more important question that needed to be answered. "I suppose I'm just out here for no reason, really," she explained. "Thought I might catch a break from missions and have some time to myself." Her tone was friendly. That was mostly because this person was acting that was towards her, so she had to return the kindness somehow. Ah, but there was something that she wanted to know. That being why this kunoichi was out at the training grounds and why she wanted to approach her. Well, such wonders would obviously be answered in time. "So... Who might you be? I don't think I've met you before."

"Oh, uhm, my name is Teru," she rubbed the back of her neck as she introduced herself. If she wanted to get to know someone better, it was best to introduce herself first, in most cases. "May I know your name? If you don't mind me asking, that is." Teru hoped that she wasn't making the moment as awkward as she thought it was getting. That was the last thing she, or anyone would ever want. Usually greetings were so easy to do, but it was turning out to be a bit unlike those other times she met other people. Maybe it was nothing and she was being nothing more than a little silly. It was bound to get better. At least she was getting a moment to make a new acquaintance, or even a friend.

Mizara saw that the girl look extremely shy when she approached her. Before Mizara had a chance t say another word, she noticed that she was still brandishing her new weapon, out in the open for the girl to see. Whether the girl thought it was a threatening prospect of the situation, or merely just another object was beyond her. However, Mizara wanted to be a little more polite than that. She flicked her wrist as she tilted her sheath downward, the sword buckled into itself upon its many lengths until it was whole again, before she shoved it back into its holder. It was one swift motion that Mizara had practiced countless times before she decided to take it out and actually tried to train with it. The weapon was useless to her if she couldn't sheath and unsheathe it correctly.

The girl gave her greeting, and it seemed as if she was sort of stumbling over her words a bit. It isn't anything new when others were shy towards Mizara, she was really forward and up front. Sometimes Mizara barely gave people any room to talk because she would blast them with many questions before she even gave them a chance to answer quick enough. With this in mind, Mizara decided to take a different approach to this encounter, especially since she wasn't really in the mood for scaring people off today. it wouldn't exactly help her self esteem much at all if it were to happen that way. So she chose to just let the girl talk instead of bombarding her with questions before she can so much as get out her own name. That was certainly no way to make a friend at all.

The girl introduced herself as Teru Uchiha. This was surprising to Mizara. she hadn't ever met an Uchiha before, despite hearing the countless stories about the clan. The lore that lingered over them only dwarfed the importance of the Hattori clan, and made Mizara feel small in her own little world. She shook this thought out of her head as she realized that everyone had importance in the life that they lived, and it was wrong to think otherwise. Mizara gave the girl a warm smile and offered her name in return. "Mizara Hattori" she said, offering a little falsetto to her pitch, becoming a little giddy as she spoke to Teru.

Mizara was sure that Teru would come to enjoy her company. At least she hoped this much. It was becoming increasingly lonely in Kirigakure as the time rolled by, there wasn't very many people for her to speak to or hang out with, and it only made Mizara upset the more she thought about it. Mizara hoped that she could show Teru that she could be a good friend for now and in the future, hopefully impacting her life for the better. It would make Mizara feel better knowing at the end of the day that she had helped someone.
